Islamic Emirate: Attack on hospital in Maidan Wardak province, an open brutality..…?

1-MonogramClear

Post via Islamic Emirate

Our oppressed countrymen have faced a lot of sufferings and miseries during the joint and brutal night raids of the invaders and their surrogates. From 7 October 2001 until today, they have gate crashed tens of thousands homes in the stillness of nights killing children during deep and sweat dreams while mothers lost their loves ones, women were widowed, fathers wept and villagers were put into grief.

Recently, invaders and their surrogates have started a new wave of atrocities. Though 14 months ago, they announced the end of military operations and fighting but they have started to once again test their fate by harassing, terrorizing and harming Afghans. They want to extend the scenario of prolongation of occupation on the provocation of surrogate Kabul Administration.

According to credible reports, on Wednesday night 17th February 2016, the surrogate army along with invaders, taking advantage of the darkness of night attacked a local hospital run by a Swedish NGO.  They pulled out four patients from the hospital and martyred them with knives and cutters. Similarly, they humiliated doctors and other staff members of the hospital and looted medical equipment and supplies. Meanwhile, they also caused damage to the building. It is worth mentioning that this hospital was providing medical facilities to local civilians and is located in Tangi Saidan of Daimardad district, Wardak province.

In any sense, this facility could not be considered as military target and has no link with Islamic Emirate rather it has been founded and managed by a foreign NGO to serve the common people.

On 20th February 2016, three days after the tragic incident, people witnessed another scene of brutality by surrogates. A 12 years old child was killed by surrogate troops who was working in his fields. This incident also occurred in Saidabad district of Maidan Wardak province. In response to this incident, the people of the area staged a demonstration and blocked Kabul-Kandahar Highway for several hours.  Nevertheless, Kabul Administration is also continuing their brutalities and atrocities against civilians for past several weeks in Shahabudin and Dand Ghori area of Baghlan province. But, unfortunately, human rights organizations and the International Community are silent and making no comment in response to these incidents.

The said dastard and gruesome incidents of the past week in Maidan Wardak province are the recent examples of brutalities of the invaders and their surrogates. Because targeting innocent children, attacks on hospital, killing of patients and medical staff, harassment and beating of hospital staff members, humiliation of doctors and nurses is nothing else except barbarism…..!!?

Surprisingly, invaders and their surrogate are not even ready to accept the responsibility of civilian’s casualties and harassments. They consider themselves doves of peace. Two weeks ago, when civilians casualties report was published by the United Nations and referred civilians casualties to awkward and two-headed Kabul Administration then they expressed their extreme outrage and condemned the UNAMA reports.

The invaders and the two-headed Kabul Administration which is shouldered by foreigners should listen carefully that the people of Afghanistan will not be satisfied except with Islamic system, freedom and independence of the country. End of occupation and independence is the most important goal for the Afghans because it signifies security, peace and prosperity.

Islamic Emirate: War crimes of foreign invaders and their internal stooge forces (February 2016)

1901434_813390552074091_8926380964117525606_n

On Tuesday 2nd February, a woman and a child were martyred and another woman and a man were injured in the indiscriminate artillery fires of the internal mercenary forces in ‘Umar Khail’ and ‘Shair Mohammad’ areas of ‘Ali Abad’ district in ‘Kunduz’ province.

On Friday 5th February, an ordinary villager (named ‘Haji Mubeen’) was brutally beaten and martyred by the local unrestrained Arbaki militiamen in ‘Kanava’ area of ‘Yahya Khail’ district in ‘Paktika’ province.

On Friday 5th February, houses of civilian people were searched during a raid of internal stooge soldiers in ‘Tore’ village of ‘Nakka’ district in ‘Paktika’ province, in which, several people were badly beaten and four ordinary persons were incarcerated too.

On Saturday 6th February, a boy and two Mulla Imams (the one who leads congregational prayers) were taken away as prisoners during a raid of internal mercenary forces in ‘Navaqil’ area of ‘Batikot’ district of ‘Nangarhar’ province.

On Sunday 7th February, two children were martyred and a woman was injured in the indiscriminate mortar shelling of internal amateurish soldiers in ‘Band’ village of ‘Sarobi’ district in ‘Kabul’ province.

On Monday 8th February, houses of ordinary countrymen were heavily fired during a raid of foreign occupying forces collaborated by their internal stooge soldiers, the latest in the sting of their night operations, in ‘Chinar’ and Tambail’ villages in ‘Khakraize’ district of ‘Kandahar’ province. When the people left their houses in panic and fear, they were indiscriminately targeted by drone strikes, in which, at least, thirteen people were martyred and eight others were injured.

On Thursday 11th February, four innocent civilians were detained and taken away as prisoners by foreign occupying forces during their night operations in ‘Shna Jama’ area of ‘Nad Ali’ district in ‘Helmand’ province.

On Thursday 11th February, the chieftains of embattled ‘Baghlan’ province revealed, in a meeting held in Kabul, the immensity of losses and casualties suffered by the civilian people in ‘central Baghlan’, ‘Dand-i-Ghori’ and ‘Dand-i-Shihabuddin’ areas in the wake of those military operations which were launched by the mercenary forces of puppet regime in the closing days of last January. They said that at least 125 civilian countrymen were martyred in the military operations of stooge government forces, including 40 women and children. 650 people were injured too.

These chieftains added that mercenary forces of this puppet regime deliberately demolished their orchards and destroyed their crops, justifying that their armed opponent might take shelter there.

It was also revealed in this meeting that nearly 17,000 families had left their houses and villages in the wake of these indiscriminate military operations and had settled in various other areas. Distressing pictures of destroyed houses, mosques, public places and vast demolition of several villages were exhibited in this gathering, while demanding the earliest possible end of these brutal military operations; but their demands and slogans fell flat on the puppet regime and the operations are incessant in the area, in which, the ordinary people are still suffering and complaining.

On Tuesday 16th February, the internal mercenary forces broke the gates of civilian houses in ‘Abdullah Khail’, ‘Navi Kala’ and ‘Zara Kala’ villages of ‘Najrab’ district in ‘Kapisa’ province, in which, several people were beaten and four of them were taken away as prisoners.

On Wednesday 17th February, the only hospital in ‘Tangi Bazaar’ of ‘Jalga’ district in ‘Maidan Wardak’ province, funded by Swedish Committee for Afghanistan, was attacked by brutal foreign occupying forces collaborated by their internal mercenary forces, in which, four patient under treatment were martyred on the spot; doctors and other medical staff were tortured and threatened. Moreover, medical supplies and equipment of this hospital were looted and its building was severely damaged.

On Thursday 18th February, a 12-year-old boy (named Yasir s/o Fazl-i-Rabbi) was relentlessly martyred by the internal stooge soldiers in ‘Mamlo’ area of ‘Said Abad’ district in ‘Maidan Wardak’ province.

On Thursday 18th February, two ordinary people were martyred and another one was injured in the indiscriminate artillery shelling of internal amateurish soldiers in ‘Adisa’ area of ‘Dasht-i-Archi’ district in ‘Kunduz’ province.

On Friday 19th February, a private health clinic and a civilian vehicle were blasted and three ordinary people were taken away as prisoners by the internal stooge soldiers in ‘Sara Baghal’ area of ‘Maiwand’ district in ‘Kandahar’ province.

On Saturday 20th February, hundreds of civilian dwellers of ‘Shilgar’ district in ‘Ghazni’ province protested against the indecencies of local unrestrained Arbaki militiamen in the central Ghazni city. The demonstrators told that ordinary people are beaten and threatened; people are abducted for ransom; their cash money is looted and innocent people are beaten to death for various lame excuses by these notorious militiamen. They told that a teacher and another villager were beaten to death by these Arbakis in ‘Kajir’ area of this district. ‘These unrestrained militiamen will no longer be tolerable for them’, they added while demanding the puppet regime to remove them from their area as soon as possible, otherwise it will be responsible for the bitter consequences.

On Friday 26th February, five ordinary villagers were detained and taken away as prisoners by the brutal foreign occupying forces during a raid in the string of their night operations in the suburbs of ‘Asmat Bazaar’ area in ‘Nad Ali’ district of ‘Helmand’ province.

On Saturday 27th February, the foreign occupying forces raided ‘Laam’ area in ‘Khakraize’ district in ‘Kandahar’ province in the series of their brutal night operations, in which, five innocent civilians were incarcerated.

On Saturday 27th February, two ordinary shopkeepers were relentlessly martyred by the unrestrained Arbaki militiamen to avenge the killing of their two commanders in ‘Angoat’ area in the suburbs of central city of ‘Saripul’ province. This incident resulted in severe clashes between civilian people and these Arbaki militiamen, in which, twenty innocent people, including women and children, were martyred in the indiscriminate firing of Arbakis. It is reported that later, several houses of these civilian people were first looted and then put on fire by these vicious Arbaki militiamen.

On Sunday 28th February, four children belonging to one family were injured and another one was martyred in the random mortar shelling of internal incompetent soldiers in ‘Siri’ village of ‘Marawara’ district in ‘Kunar’ province.

Israeli Apartheid Week: Sole survivor… a most poignant poster

“Ahmad, only survivor, kissing pic of his family, burned alive, by terrorists.  “

(Image posted via Dr Basem Naim)

Ahmed will never feel the arms of his mother Reham hold him again. He will never play games with his brother Ali or share experiences with his father Sa’ad. All died after their home in the West Bank village of Duma was set alight by extremist Jewish settlers. The Independent reported, “Sa’ad, managed to get his wife, Reham, and four-year-old son Ahmed out of the building, witnesses told reporters he was unable to find the youngest as there was no electricity.” Ali was burnt alive, Sa’ad and his wife later died in hospital. For Ahmed who also suffered burns it is a long journey to recovery and dealing with the terrible loss of his family which will never heal. See following link for full story.

The photo of Ahmed was shared by Dr Basem Naim as part of “Israeli Apartheid Week” whose website states,

“Each year, Israeli Apartheid Week takes place across more than 150 universities and cities. It aims to raise awareness about Israel’s ongoing settler-colonial project and apartheid policies over the Palestinian people. Panels, film screenings, and creative actions build support for the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Inspired by the ongoing popular resistance across historic Palestine, we hope to make Israeli Apartheid Week 2016 a powerful contribution to the Palestinian struggle for freedom and justice.

Please join us in making the the 12th Israeli Apartheid Week one of the biggest yet.”

This year London BDS activists drew the attention of Israeli authorities with a series of posters plastered all over the London Tube, see following link,

“Palestinian activists plaster tubes with Israeli apartheid adverts”

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2016/02/22/palestinian-activists-plaster-tubes-with-israeli-apartheid-adverts-_n_9289130.html

According to RT, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “reportedly phoned London Mayor Boris Johnson to tell him that the ad campaign would not tolerated by the Israeli government. Johnson assured Lapid that the signs would be taken down. He apparently complied late Tuesday afternoon and the posters have being removed.” However by then the posters would have been seen by hundreds of thousands of people.

Mohammed Matter, Team Leader at Gaza Youth Culture Centre and Gaza Youth Breaks Out posted a statement about Israeli Apartheid Week on his Facebook page calling for followers to lend support saying,

“Its an annual series of university lectures and rallies against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. The series is held in February or March. According to the organization, “the aim of IAW is to educate people about the nature of Israel as an apartheid system and to build Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns as part of a growing global BDS movement.” Since IAW began in Toronto in 2005, it has since spread to at least 55 cities around the world including locations in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Botswana, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, Palestine, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Israeli Apartheid Week has garnered much controversy since its inception and has been criticized by some political figures as anti-Israeli and by some others as anti-Semitic.”

Afghanistan: Taliban claim bombing in Kabul, but unclear who is responsible for Kunar attack?

Kabul

The Islamic Emirate have claimed responsibility for an attack on “hireling troops that had ended their shifts and were exiting the Kabul administration’s Defense Ministry building” on Saturday 27th February. The assault was carried out by “Abdullah from Nangarhar” (Mohammad Yousaf) wearing an  explosives vest and was part of the Taliban’s operation Azm, which began in Spring (2015) and has now lasted all year with no winter break.

The BBC were informed by a spokesperson that “10 of the dead were civilians, and that eight people were injured”. The Taliban deny this stating, “there are no civilians present in the said area as it is a military zone and under tight enemy surveillance. All claims about civilian casualties are fabricated aimed at diverting the attention of people away from the target.” Islamic Emirate claim, “23 hireling officers were killed and some 29 others wounded”.

An earlier bombing was carried out near a market in Asadabad City in the eastern Afghan province of Kunar. The attacker detonated explosives attached to a vehicle in front of the Provincial Governor’s office, killing at least 11 people and injuring more than 30 others. There have been no claims of responsibility to date. Among the dead was pro-government militia commander, Haji Khan Jan who was known to oppose the Taliban. Other fatalities included children in a playground and several members of one family.

Bilal Sarwary tweeted,

The UN condemned this incident, stating, “United Nations Assistance Mission in the country (UNAMA) reiterated that indiscriminate use of explosives in areas crowded by civilians is a serious violation of international humanitarian law.”

Afghanistan war a failure

The Afghanistan War is now seen by many as a very costly failure with the security worsening. As Vox points out,

“The Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) submitted a statement to Congress on Wednesday in a hearing to review the fiscal year 2017 budget request and funding justification for the US Department of State. It included this line:

since FY 2002, Congress has appropriated approximately $113.1 billion to rebuild Afghanistan. That is at least $10 billion more, adjusted for inflation, than the amount the United States committed in civilian assistance to help rebuild Western Europe after World War II.”

Vox also highlight the following key points,

The Taliban is resurgent

ISIS has now established a foothold in Afghanistan

The Afghan security forces are a mess

Afghans are fleeing the country in droves

See article,

“America’s utter failure in Afghanistan, in one depressing statistic”

http://www.vox.com/2016/2/26/11116874/afghanistan-failure

Nor are peace talks with the Quadrilateral Group (Afghanistan, Pakistan, China and the US) and Taliban likely to begin in a meaningful way any time soon. Firstly an Islamic Emirate spokesperson claims they have have been invited, secondly, Taliban are clear that foreign troops must leave before they will engage. US have recently committed to extending the stay of their military in Afghanistan. Pakistani journalist and author Ahmed Rashid points out, as the security situation deteriorates, “more US special forces, drones and aircraft have been deployed to southern Afghanistan, which faces the greatest Taliban threat.”

According to RFE/RL, following Kunar attack, “Afghan President Ashraf Ghani says his government will not hold peace talks with any militant faction that kills innocent Afghan civilians and that Afghan forces will step up their fight against terrorists.” This appears to be a case of “kettle calling the pot black” given that state backed police and militia are alleged to have been involved in the killing of civilians, themselves!
