“Picture Me Free” a poem by Rodney Watson (War Resister in Sanctuary)

“Picture me free”

Picture me walking straight outta sanctuary
Resurrected from a 7 year political mortuary
Emotional rollercoaster but never defeated
Bad times fading away until they’re all deleted
I’m stronger now with lazer beams in my eyes
Face to face I can see through any clown’s disguise
I’m all about peace and love but I remain connected
Friends in high and low places and well respected
Think of all the lives that war criminals neglected
I survived Iraq and I survived critics that disrespected
Canadian conservative hate, yeah I survived that too
Picture me paying my son a surprise visit at his school
Bush wanted me to die for his lies but I’m no fool
Used me like a pawn and turned me into a deadly tool
I been through HELL and I been ready for some peace
Picture this sanctuary situation about to soon cease

Islamic Emirate: Roar of the lion silences the wailing wolves

پيغام

Post via Islamic Emirate

Over the past few days the satanic intelligence agencies were hell bent on continuously spreading poisonous propaganda about the leader of Islamic Emirate and the true symbol of Afghan unity, the esteemed Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansur (HA), that held no weight and were absolutely baseless.

They initially claimed that the esteemed Mansur Sahib was injured during an internecine exchange of fire during a gathering at the house of Abdullah Sarhadi (who was also declared dead) in Quetta Kuchlak area of the neighboring country Pakistan. After Abdullah Sarhadi (serving as the deputy head of Maidan Wardak province in the structure of the Islamic Emirate) refuted these claims in an audio message and labeled it fabrications, the sly enemy spun its claim and declared that the incident took place at the house of another Abdullah Sarhadi. The humiliated Satans followed this up by claiming that the respected Amir Khan Muttaqqi has said that the leader of Islamic Emirate has succumbed to his injuries and died!!

Why and whom is spreading these rumors?

Without a doubt the esteemed Mansur Sahib lead the Islamic Emirate admirably for many years while the late Amir ul Mumineen Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid (RA) was alive, meaning that the late Amir ul Mumineen (RA) completely trusted and was satisfied with his consummate actions up until he departed this fleeting world.

Mansur Sahib was also safeguarded and blessed by Allah to emerge from all the internal and external affairs of the Islamic Emirate victorious. He established an atmosphere of brotherhood among the Mujahidin, handed historical defeats to the foreign and lackey forces in every field, won over the hearts and minds of fellow countrymen and managed to declare the just demands of the Islamic Emirate to the world through diplomatic and media channels, proving to both friends and foe, near and far that the Taliban are not merely valiant warriors and a resilient force but Allah (SWT) has also blessed them with astuteness to defend their rights in the field of diplomacy and politics.

Everybody used to think who would take over the reign of the Emirate were the late Amir ul Mumineen to pass away and how would he manage to take into confidence all the Mujahidin, officials and respected scholars? Allah (SWT) presented us with Mansur Sahib as a respected, unifying and affectionate leader. Sincere pledges of allegiance began pouring in to him from Afghanistan and the general Muslim Ummah and Allah (SWT) destroyed all the plans and conspiracies of the lurking opportunist enemy and smoothly solved the enormous issue of leadership.

The eternal enemies of Islam and those in whose hearts hypocrisy had taken root were tirelessly thinking of ways to disperse this solid unified rank of Islam. Their grudge and jealousy increased many folds as they began witnessing the love of people for the Emirate, flow of allegiance pledges and the daily military victories. They hastily began hatching plans, some were tasked to raise questions about the leadership, some tasked with holding gatherings and threatening creation of factions and some tasked with blemishing the name Mansur Sahib and other leaders of the Islamic Emirate.

The sly enemy after having failed in all the above conspiracies began circulating these recent rumors in which they were again exposed and humiliated by the grace and mercy of Allah (SWT).

Many analysts are of the belief that these recent rumors were the work of Kabul regime intelligence in coordination with the American espionage institutions who in turn instructed key regional media outlets to publish everything that was being handed to them in return for funds and discard every reaction and statement of the Taliban spokespersons.

However last night’s audio message by the esteemed leader of Islamic Emirate not only healed the hearts of Mujahidin and Muslim Ummah but also dealt a heavy blow to the international intelligence apparatus and its slave media, a message that from today onwards no one shall ever listen or believe their claims. After today their claims will fall on deaf ears and will be deemed by the people as pure fabrications and lies, and the punishment of liars has been clearly stated by Allah (SWT) in his holy book “curse of Allah is upon the liars”.

Islamic Emirate condemns killings

I was first aware of the incident via Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan on 4th December 2015 when they released a statement saying, “the Islamic Emirate strongly condemns this crime of the Kabul regime and views it as a clear illustration of their brutality and merciless nature towards the common people.” They also stated, “we demand all humanitarian organizations and claimants of human rights to prevent occurrence of such intentional killings and attacks.” Full statement can be read here,

Mullah Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansour made his comment via audio statement released today where he sent “deepest condolences to families of children martyred in Maidan Wardak province by enemy forces” and said that the “Islamic Emirate was established to wipe tears of such victims.”

United Nations Assistance Mission Afghanistan (UNAMA) released statement,

KABUL, 6 December 2015 – The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) condemns the recent killing of nine civilians when explosive ordinance was fired into the village of Shahi Khil in Wardak.

Initial information indicates that the casualties resulted from the impact of a shell fired by the Afghan National Army. Four boys were among the nine killed in the 4 December incident and at least three other persons were injured near a mosque in the village.

UNAMA notes that President Ghani has assigned a delegation to investigate the incident and urges the Government to ensure an independent, impartial and transparent investigation and that those responsible be held accountable. The mission also urges the Government to provide appropriate compensation and support to victims and their families.

UNAMA reiterates its call for all parties to the conflict, including pro-Government forces, to cease firing explosive weapons into civilian-populated areas and urges the Government to prioritize the development and approval of a national policy on civilian casualty mitigation backed by an action plan with concrete objectives to prevent civilian casualties in the conduct of hostilities.

The UN Mission expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and a speedy recovery to the injured.

Suneengel (Sune Engel Rasmussen) reporting from Kabul for Guardian, the Economist and other publications referred to the Wardak Nine incident on Instagram, stating,

“it is mistakes like these, committed by both Afghan and international troops, that undermine the legitimacy of the Afghan government. Why, many Afghans ask, would we risk our lives for the government when it fails to keep us safe anyway? That lingering question is probably the main reason the Taliban are still strong today, more than 14 years after the war began.”

Government must investigate and ensure justice

There is mounting pressure for the government under President Ashraf Ghani to ensure that a thorough, transparent and independent investigation is carried out regarding the Wardak incident. This should be standard procedure for ANY civilian killings. Human rights organizations have highlighted gross human rights abuses but express quietly that they are reliant on openness and goodwill from the government to respect and uphold international human rights law including legislation covering areas of conflict which is often not forthcoming.

Islamic Emirate produce a list of alleged human rights abuses every month see following link for November 2015,

“Islamic Emirate: War crimes of foreign invaders and their internal stooge forces (November 2015)”

https://activist1.wordpress.com/2015/12/05/islamic-emirate-war-crimes-of-foreign-invaders-and-their-internal-stooge-forces-november-2015/

According to TOLO (who mentioned the civil society protest in Kabul in just over one line in their recent article covering UNAMA statement on Wardak Nine) the government has responded as follows,

“The president has assigned the ministry of defense to appoint an investigative team to probe the incident so that proper decisions are taken on the basis of the findings and to hold those responsible accountable,” Sayed Zafar Hashemi, deputy presidential spokesman said.

“Whether it was a mistake or deliberate. It is too early to comment on this, but responsible elements will be punished,” Dawlat Waziri, a defense ministry spokesman said.

Only weeks ago, medical staff and and their patients were burned alive when US forces bombed a hospital in Kunduz. Civilians are often killed in US drone strikes. Its no wonder there is little faith left in the government as despite promises there appears to be a great reluctance to address unlawful killing and the wounding of civilians. If action is not taken soon, justice served and compensation payments provided, the next protest on the streets is likely to be for a change of government or perhaps even the entire system.

Islamic Emirate: Mullah Mansour alive, dismissing rumours of injuries/death and comments on recent events

پيغام

Leader of Islamic Emirate, Amir ul Mumineen Mullah Muhammad Mansoor (HA) releases audio message concerning latest rumours and other subjects

(Post via Islamic Emirate)

The leader of Islamic Emirate Amir ul Mumineen Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansoor (may Allah safeguard him) talks about the latest enemy rumors and a few other subjects to Mujahideen through communication radios. The audio message can be downloaded from the link provided below.

1. Amir ul Mumineen rejects enemy rumors about his injury/death, says he hasn’t seen Kuchlak (Quetta) in years.

2. Some weak/hypocrite people also picked up rumor and even considered it their act to try an confuse the ordinary people.

3. Sends deepest condolences to families of children martyred in Maidan Wardag province by enemy forces, says Emirate established to wipe tears of such victim.

4. Real meaning of this message is that be confident, we are not fighting for power/Emirate. Our real goal is shariah & it will be followed strictly.

5. The world/Kabul regime/everyone should realize why the Taliban are fighting:

There is no differences between real Mujahideen/leaders of Emirate.

Verbal differences does not mean escalation to armed conflict, the Muslims should never be concerned about this because the goal of the Emirate is known which is raising the word of Allah (SWT), establishment of Islamic government and safeguarding the life, property and honor of the people and Muslims and they have accepted death, injury, prison and all other hardships in this path.

Everyone needs to realize that such rumors which seek to afflict Muslims with pain is nothing new, this has been ongoing since establishment of Emirate rather since the time of the Messenger (SAW) but they used to have patience therefore all Mujahideen, Muslim Ummah and Ulama/Leaders/Commander/members of the Emirate also need to understand that no such incident has occurred and no such incident shall ever occur between us over power/leadership.

We have Ulama and astute leaders which can resolve, intervene in such matters and never let it escalate to such a state.

There is no difference between a Talib and Mujahid, those who have deviated from righteous path cannot misuse the name of Talib, he has been labeled by Shariah with many other known names, some are called Sahib ul Fasad (those who spread mischief), some Murtad (apostates) and some hypocrites.

Those who have spread this rumor should taste how it really feels like in real life.

I didnt want to talk about this rumor but was compelled to give confidence to the Mujahideen and ordinary Muslims.

Those who associated this rumor to themselves, it only exposed their weakness, they only seek to harm the ordinary Muslims.

Media must realize their journalistic ethics, must not spread biased baseless news.

Muslims should be confident and realize that this media war is not new, such claims will be repeatedly circulated, take assurance in the publications/words of the spokesmen of Islamic Emirate. Rest assured that even if I dont reject such claims myself next time, this doesnt mean something has happened.

Mujahideen should focus on their work, dont listen to such baseless rumors and propaganda that negotiations have begun, there is no more fighting and other lies.

We will also make political maneuvers alongside with our military efforts but when we deem it necessary. It will not be done because of signals by others or pressure or force.

We are not fighting for power, everyone must realize that the demands are easy, raising the word of Allah and establishment of Islamic government that is practically enforced in Afghanistan or else our Jihad will continue.

Every Muslim should take confidence in the words of the spokespersons in every subject, it shouldnt concern us whether the enemy believes in it or not.

Pray for the Mujahideen worldwide.

Yemen: Aden governor assassinated as convoy is targeted with explosives, Islamic State claims responsibility

Major-General Jaafar Mohammed Saad, governor of Aden, southern Yemen was killed along with several bodyguards when a vehicle he was travelling in as part of a convoy was targeted using explosives in the Tawahi area of the port city.

Hisham al Omeisy,  a Yemeni Political & Information Analyst based in Sana’a, Yemen tweeted the following along with an image of the attack,

CVhpNCuWsAApOwO

Aden’s governor was rptdy assassinated when his convoy was targeted while passing through Tawahi neighborhood in Aden now.

Assassination of governor one of many in string in Aden starkly highlighting rapidly deteriorating security.

Saad was recently appointed as governor in October and was aware his life was under threat. Reuters reported, “Hadi returned to Aden from Saudi Arabia last month, nearly eight months after he fled to escape the Houthi advance. He has been trying to shore up security in the city and oversee fighting against the Houthis in the province of Taiz, north of Aden.”

Islamic State statement (Image posted via Michael Horowitz)

Islamic State in the region has allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack, “in a statement posted on a messaging service, the group said it detonated an explosives-laden car as Jaafar Mohammed Saad’s convoy was passing in a western district of Aden.”

As al Omeisy highlighted this is the latest in a series of assassinations which includes judges dealing with terror cases, he tweeted,

I think Judge Alwan is 2nd assassination from criminal court dealt w/ terror cases; Abbas al Aqrabi shot dead back in Oct in Aden too.

A military intelligence official was targeted in another incident. Civilians are also hit badly as markets, mosques and health centres come under attack from opposing sides with disturbing regularity. Last week Medecins Sans Frontieres released a statement claiming “an airstrike carried out by the Saudi-led coalition has hit a clinic in southern Yemen run by MSF, wounding nine people, including two MSF staff.”

Yemen Updates reported that President President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received the UN Envoy to Yemen this week and peace talks are agreed to be held in Geneva in mid-December. They can’t come soon enough for war-weary civilians that know even a trip to buy food or a visit to a hospital now carries a security risk.

Islamic Emirate: Emigration Efflux: Why are the youth fleeing Afghanistan?

images-14

Post via Islamic Emirate

Over the past few months we have seen a steady stream of Afghans leaving their country to take refuge in Europe due to the ongoing crises facing their nation.

According to media reports this year alone, approximately 800,000 Afghans left their country to head towards Europe. Of these approximately 3,000 asylum seekers drowned in the treacherous passage across the seas.

It is a point of contention whether it is in these asylum seekers’ best interests to rush to Europe and what kind of treatment they can expect there. For now we will only look the reasons that led them to choose this treacherous path.

After the formation of the National Unity Government and its dismal progress so far, the nation feels like it is in a state of paralysis. The Americans have used checks and balances to the letter in forming this government. The two heads of states – the President and the Chief Executive – have their powers so well balanced that both of them could check and annul the orders of the other. In such a mechanism it is impossible to make any progress in policy formation and implementation unless the two leaders fully agree with the proposals. Yet because the two heads of the regime are so different in outlook that it is impossible for them to agree on even the most essentials let alone the tedious policymaking required for running a functioning government.

Prior to his election, Ashraf Ghani ran a highly successful campaign based on revolutionizing the Afghan society. He promised social justice, the liberalization of the economic and government structure, opening of new markets, attracting foreign investment, progress in human rights and much more. All these convinced a large sector of the electorate who voted that Ghani would open great doors for Afghanistan. However now the ghosts of these extravagant promises have come back to haunt him.

He has not been able to fulfill any of the extravagant promises. He has found that while his promises can win him a campaign and look feasible on paper, yet in the thick of politics he is too temperamental and irresolute to enact any of them.

While his promises were inspiring, his fall from grace was even more so. His administration’s failures have dashed any hopes of progress in the minds of the ordinary citizens. As the old English idiom goes ‘the higher you throw a stone, the harder it will fall’. So now we see the hopes of the nation plummet to the abyss after they rose sky high.

The ordinary citizen, seeing the lack of a functioning government, the economic depression engulfing the state, the flight of capital, the abuses and injustices of governmental authority, the impunity of the warlords, and the complete mental inertia of the supposedly Great Intellectual see no hope for their nation.

For them even the perilous passage across the great lands of Asia or the Mediterranean look like a more profitable venture then staying to watch their country plundered by these strongmen whose motto is to fill their coffers while the going is good. At least the latest NATO decision to stay in Afghanistan beyond 2016 gives them a little more time to plunder the few remaining capital of this country.

Statement of Islamic Emirate concerning crime of hireling troops in Maidan Wardag

1-flag

Early this morning locals and children gathered around a fire in front of a mosque located in Tarhayo village of Sultan Khel region, Sayedabad district of Maidan Wardag province, were directly attacked by the savage Kabul regime troops from a close range.

According to information, 10 of our innocent countrymen including children were martyred and 8 others wounded.

The Islamic Emirate strongly condemns this crime of the Kabul regime and views it as a clear illustration of their brutality and merciless nature towards the common people.

Everyday throughout the country the defeated Kabul regime troops avenge their set-backs and casualties by targeting innocent civilians. The Kabul hirelings have repeatedly targeted civilians with artillery shelling, direct fire and night raids.

The foreign invading forces also have a hand in these crimes and encourage their stooges to carry out such attacks.

We demand all humanitarian organizations and claimants of human rights to prevent occurrence of such intentional killings and attacks. The Kabul regime troops have been been savagely trained who treat people in a very brutal and harsh manner.

The Islamic Emirate will surely take revenge from the hireling troops for these brutalities, Allah willing.

In what may be the first violent response to the government launching airstrikes over Syria against Islamic State, a man was tasered by police who were called to a stabbing incident at Leytonstone tube station in London at around 7pm on Saturday evening.

Breaking News tweeted,

@BigTobzf posted a graphic video on Twitter which showed a large pool of blood by a turnstyle in the underground. A policeman can be seen across the station facing a male, and the words, “he stabbed someone” are audible on the video. A voice is later heard urging police to “taser him” several times adding “it didn’t work” as members of the public watch the drama unfold. There are shouts at the man to “get down”. An elderly gentleman wearing a cap and holding a carrier bag wanders towards the alleged attacker then realizing something is amiss turns back in the direction from which he came.

The Evening Standard stated, “Officers from British Transport Police are now dealing with the incident at the scene. We are aware of one man having sustained serious stab injuries. We await details of any other injuries.” A man was later detained in custody at an east London police station.

The Guardian quoted, Commander Richard Walton, who leads the Met’s counter-terrorism command who said, “We are treating this as a terrorist incident. I would urge the public to remain calm, but alert and vigilant. The threat from terrorism remains at severe, which means that a terrorist attack is highly likely.” Witnesses to the incident were asked to come forward including anyone that had taken videos and photographed the attack.

An anti-terror hotline number was given by police…  0800 789 321.

Dear Rohingya: A call to the believers… a poem by Saqib Majid

zoriah_rohingya_5_s_feature

Image “at a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh” (Zoriah.net)

Dear Brethren of ours,

I feel at loss and at shame;

That your carcasses line the street

Like the struck pins of a bowling game..

Like rodents they treat you,

The Myanmar military leaders;

Forced slavery on roads,

Rapes, tortures, land seizures!

Yet, there is barely a sound,

So far from an upheaval;

The media blackout in your regions

Oh, how your oppressors are so evil !!

As a Muslim from afar,

Feel , I am your kindred,

Our sorrow is not ajar !

Oh look !

brutal permission you need

even for Nikah !!

And when a child they expect,

The military, woefully adept

That they are forced to have their faces

And the abdomens checked !

They tax you even to breathe,

Whole graveyards are sieged,

Oh forgotten Ummah,

You are in desperate need,

When you cross the border to find retreat,

There is no solace on the street

Sent back by the Dhaka government;

Despite brethren in belief ..

Sending forces to halt them at the border,

Yet supporting the sham United Nations,

With such will and ease!

Backstabbing western slaves

A woeful feature of our days,

The skies shalt grey

And the blood will spray,

Yet In the senates and chambers,

They will sit unfazed..

Oh youthful brethren,

Let’s shed light on what’s right:

We are all a homeless people

Desecrated on sight !

But we have Allah on our side,

And his system clear as ice !

Raise the call today for change,

So that the oppressed are behind the Caliph

Back alas,

At home again
