Note: (In this article, besides the casualties and financial losses inflicted on the enemy, only those incidents and reports are included which are confirmed by the enemy too. For detailed and accurate information about the real losses of both the foreign invaders and their internal stooge forces, one is advised to visit the Alemara and various other reliable news sites.)

November 2015 was fraught with significant incidents in political and military fields like all the previous months of this year. Operations and consequent victories were incessant as usual and the enemy was given an admonitory lesson by inflicting heavy casualties and losses on them.

In the span of this month, news and reports on a variety of issues, taken from the overall ineptitude of Kabul based administration to the open confession of day by day increasing influence and supremacy of Mujahidin, were reported which are to be discussed under the following captions:

Casualties and losses of the foreign invaders:

The foreign invaders were confronted with a number of deadly attacks in November as they dispatched several corpses to their respective countries from this historical graveyard of brutal foreign invaders. But this time they went even a step forward from their old habit and totally denied their losses; therefore, there was no visible increase in the amount of their casualties in media in November.

The reality is that apart from those killed in the battlefields, thousands of other foreign invading soldiers who left Afghanistan and returned to their respective countries, are suffering from various severe mental disorders and psychological issues as they are committing suicides on the daily basis. Here we will furnish some reports which were published previously in this regard.

According to a report, nearly fifty nine Canadian soldiers committed suicide after returning from Afghanistan. A global news agency told on Wednesday 4^thNovember that fifty three soldiers committed suicide while they were practically serving inside Afghanistan. This issue is increasing day by day and the defence ministry of the respective country is deeply concerned about it.

Losses and casualties of the stooge enemy:

The mercenary soldiers of the stooge enemy spent most of the previous month to save their own lives and to return home safe and sound instead of defending the regions and their own bases. But most of them couldn’t. It is evident that due to the unfair and deceitful policies of the government, it has become quite difficult to have access to their accurate losses and casualties. Therefore, we have to rely upon the reports of some independent organs about these incidents. According to the reports of these organs, the casualties of the internal enemies are more than ten thousands during the whole year.

On Monday 9^th November, a stooge commander, related to Sayyaf (a famous warlord) group, was killed in ‘Paghman’ district of Kabul province.

On Sunday 15^th November, the so called governor of Helmond province admitted that in fighting in Marja district, eighty eight soldiers of the mercenary army were killed.

On Tuesday 17^th November, a commander of the notorious Arbaki militiamen was killed in ‘Almaar’ district of ‘Faryab’ province.

On Saturday 21^st November, the chief security commander of ‘Jovand’ district in ‘Badghis’ province was killed.

Just two days later, the aspiration of the oppressed people was fulfilled by killing a brutal commander of the notorious Arbaki militiamen in ‘Sharana’, the central city of ‘Paktika’ province.

On Wednesday 25^th November, two commanders including their 12 armed personnel were killed in ‘Chaghcharan’ city, the capital of ‘Ghore’ province.

On Thursday 26^th November, a stooge commander was killed in ‘Zairi’ district of ‘Kandahar’ province.

On Saturday 28^th November, an Arbaki commander was killed in ‘Khash’ district of ‘Badakhshan’ province in their internal fight.

On the same day, the former chief of ‘Khas Urzgan’ district was first arrested and then hanged by Mujahidin.

On Sunday 29^th November, the former director of ‘Hajj and Trusts’ department was killed in an ambuscade in ‘Nimroz’ province.

Amalgamation of stooge army personnel with Mujahidin:

In the wake of incessant conquests throughout the country which have brought the enemy under deep pressure, and due to the indefatigable struggles of the ‘Invitation and Amalgamation’ commission of the Islamic Emirate, the surrender process is accelerated and a large number of armed forces and other officials of the puppet regime have joined Mujahidin. In addition, a large number of soldiers and police personnel of this stooge admin were captured alive in various locations in fighting.

During the whole span of this month, 757 persons including armed soldiers, policemen and other officials of stooge admin joined Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate. In the following lines, some of these incidents are elaborated.

On Friday 13^th November, as confirmed by the so called governor of ‘Helmond’ province, five commanders along with their sixty five soldiers united with Mujahidin in ‘Sangin’ district of this province.

On Saturday 14^th November, eleven Arbaki militiamen along with their commander surrendered to Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate in ‘Faryab’ province.

On the following day, one hundred and fifty soldiers amalgamated with Mujahidin in ‘Pashtun Kot’ district of the above mentioned province.

On Sunday 15^th November, fifteen soldiers of the stooge enemy united with Mujahidin in ‘Jozjan’ province with all their weapons and ammunition.

On Tuesday 17^th November, ten Arbaki militiamen united with Mujahidin along with all their weapons in ‘Alamaar’ district of ‘Faryab’ province.

Incarceration of the mercenary army soldiers:

On Wednesday 11^th November, seven policemen of the stooge admin were arrested by Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate in ‘Saripul’ province.

One day later, Mujahidin announced that those twelve Arbaki militiamen who were captured a few days ago in ‘Said Karam’ district of ‘Paktia’ province were released on bail.

On Saturday 14^th November, ten Arbaki militiamen were captured alive by Mujahidin in ‘Pashtun Kot’ district of ‘Faryab’ province.

On Tuesday 24^th November, a military plane of the enemy was hit and brought down by Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate, in which, eighteen persons including two American soldiers were captured. The so called defence ministry of the puppet regime announced that wide spread military operation were launched for rescuing those soldiers, but, by the grace of Almighty Allah, all their efforts have been in-vain in releasing those captives, though they were fully supported by their foreign masters and they tried tooth and nail.

Financial losses inflicted on the enemy:

On one side, colossal financial losses were inflicted on the mercenary enemy as their military equipment, tanks and other vehicles were seized by Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate; on the other side, during this month, three of their planes were destroyed by Mujahidin in various parts of the country.

First one was an unmanned drone which was hit and brought down on Thursday 5^th November, in ‘Musahi’ district of ‘Kabul’ province.

The second one was shot and destroyed in ‘Pashtoon Kot’ district of ‘Faryab’ province.

And the third one was hit and grounded by Mujahidin, just one day after the second one, in ‘Koh-i-Safi’ district of ‘Parwan’ province.

‘Azm’ Jihadi operations:

As usual, the enthusiastic and valiant Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate sustained their successful Jihadi operations against the foreign occupying forces as well as their internal stooges with high morale and strong determination, which resulted in significant achievements for them. In the following lines, brief information is given regarding these operations and their subsequent outcomes:

On Sunday 1^st November, the stooge officials of ‘Paktia’ province admitted that ‘Dand-Patan’ district of this province was heavily assaulted by Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate, and the commander of 402 Boundary Force accepted that heavy casualties and financial losses were inflicted on their forces in this fighting.

On the same day, the provincial council of adjacent ‘Paktika’ province also announced that heavy fighting was launched by Taliban in three districts of this province which were on the verge of collapse in their hands. Similarly, ‘Nadir Shah Kot’ district of ‘Khost’ province was the witness of severe attacks of Mujahidin in which heavy financial losses and casualties were suffered by the stooge officials and mercenary forces of the puppet regime.

On one side, all regions of greater ‘Paktia’ were made unsafe for the officials and armed forces of the dependent regime, on the other side, the south-western zone of our beloved country was turned into a hot oven for them.

On Tuesday 3^rd November, the provincial council of ‘Helmond’ province declared that if additional and fresh forces were not sent and deployed in the region, they would definitely lose the control of strategic ‘Marja’ district of this area. And, just one day later, media reported that most areas of this district were captured by Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate.

On Sunday 15^th November, the capital of ‘Helmond’ province was once again the witness of martyrdom attacks of brave Mujahidin in which several mercenary armed forces of the enemy were killed and wounded.

On Thursday 19^th November, the ‘Arghandab’ district of ‘Kandahar’ province was the witness of heavy fighting launched by Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate, in which, heavy losses and casualties, as reported, were inflicted on the enemy.

On Sunday 22^nd November, media reported that armed militiamen of the puppet regime have fled from most areas of ‘Khanashin’ district in ‘Helmond’ province. The news added that the mercenary forces had evacuated their military base as well as nine other check posts and had fled to central areas of this province for saving their lives.

Besides these, northern and north-western areas of the country like ‘Faryab’ and several other adjacent provinces were also the witness of Mujahidin’s successful attacks.

On Sunday 15^th November, the enemy had to admit that some areas of ‘Pashtun Kot’ district of ‘Faryab’ province were captured by Taliban. On the following day, another reluctant confirmation came out which added that five large villages of this district had collapsed to Mujahidin, while several high ranking regional officials including the so called first deputy head of the stooge admin had frequently visited the area and had claimed that it was completely freed from Mujahidin’s presence.

On Wednesday 18^th November, in the series of capturing districts one after the other, Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate managed to get control of ‘Yamgan’ district in ‘Badakhshan’ province.

On Tuesday 24^th November, the stooge officials of ‘Ghore’ province admitted that heavy fighting was going on near the centre of this province, as the local eye-witnesses told about the significant progress and achievements of Mujahidin in these areas.

On Thursday 26^th November, ‘Deh-i-Murda’ district of ‘Sari Pul’ province came under the control of Mujahidin.

Prior to this, on Monday 9^th November, the appointed chief of puppet regime for ‘Imam Sahib’ district of ‘Kunduz’ province admitted that forty percent area of this district is controlled by Taliban.

On Sunday 29^th November, ‘Kham Aab’ district of ‘Jozjan’ province fell in the hands of Mujahidin as they were advancing towards ‘Khuwaja Bahauddin’ district after capturing ‘Dargad’ district of ‘Takhar’ province.

Besides the above mentioned achievements in the military fields, the Islamic Emirate announced on Wednesday 18^th November that it had received some crucial military and administrative information of the puppet regime which could largely prove helpful in planning the future operations.

Enemy’s confession of Mujahidin’s strength:

By the grace of Almighty Allah, Mujahidin managed to maintain their presence and power throughout the country which is increasing day by day. Therefore, occasionally, this reality is admitted by the enemy too. Here, in the following lines, some of these confirmations are mentioned just as a handful out of a heap:

On Friday 6^th November, the American defence ministry announced that Taliban are considered by them as a crucial factor. Actually they were only compelled for this reluctant admission after suffering severe blows and defeats as they eventually realized that Taliban are more resilient and stronger than conceived by them. In the beginning of their crusades, they thought that it would be an easy task to eradicate the ideology and forces of the Islamic Emirate in a short span of time. Therefore, all human rights and international rules were openly violated by them, as they tried their tooth and nail in fighting against Mujahidin.

Moreover, on Tuesday 10^th November, the Chinese government announced that Taliban are considered as a significant political power inside Afghanistan. On the other side, on Tuesday 24^th November, the American invaders asked all the American citizens to remain more vigilant and careful in the following three months due to the projected increase attacks of Mujahidin in various parts of the country.

As far as the confirmation of the internal stooge enemy is concerned, expressions of the so called representative of ‘Takhar’ province in central parliament is an undeniable proof of Taliban’s reinforcement. On Monday 23^rd November, he clearly told that four districts of his respective province were on the verge of collapse to Mujahidin. On the same day, officials of the stooge admin told inside ‘Kuduz’ province that the collapse of this province once again in the hands of Taliban was highly probable. They asked the high ranking stooge officials of Kabul based regime to take all necessary security measures so that this province could be saved from re-falling in the hands of Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate.

Suffering of masses and torturing the civilian people:

The oppressed Afghan masses have been living a miserable life for the last fourteen years as they were directly targeted by brutal foreign occupying forces. Sometimes, they were relentlessly martyred; sometimes they suffer from deadly wounds on their bodies; and sometimes, they are collectively imprisoned in various jails where they are ruthlessly tortured by foreign invaders as well as their internal mercenary security and armed forces.

Just like previous months, during the whole span of November, the enemy tried to misuse the civilian casualties for propaganda purposes. As far as the total number of civilian casualties is concerned, twenty four innocent Afghans were martyred in these brutal incidents. Detailed information of all these incidents can be read in the civilian losses report of Alemara website published on the monthly basis. In the following lines, some of these incidents are shared with our esteemed readers.

On Wednesday 4^th November, a school teacher was brutally martyred by some irresponsible armed personnel (who are generally the notorious Arbaki militiamen) in ‘Shahrak’ district of ‘Ghore’ province.

On Saturday 7^th November, two ordinary civilians were martyred by the special forces of puppet regime near the centre of ‘Khost’ province.

Two days later, an ill-fated family became the target of indiscriminate bombing in ‘Dasht-i-Archi’ district of ‘Kunduz’ province, in which, one woman was martyred while his husband and son were injured.

On Monday 9^th November, media reported that American occupying soldiers and the security forces of Kandahar province have jointly used chemical weapons against the defenceless civilian people in ‘Shorawak’ district of this province.

On Wednesday 11^th November, the stooge security forces opened fire on civilian demonstrators inside the capital city of Kabul, in which, one person was killed and eight others were injured.

On the same day, some videos were shared and published in social media which showed that internal mercenary forces opened indiscriminate artillery shelling which resulted not only in civilian losses and casualties but also destroyed complete villages.

On Monday 16^th November, a local dweller of ‘Andar’ district in ‘Ghazni’ province was badly beaten, both of his hands were cut off and was, then, relentlessly martyred by the notorious Arbaki militiamen. In addition to this brutality, the ordinary people of this district told that even their women were abducted by these wanton Arbaki militiamen for ransom. This issue was confirmed by the security chief of this province as he told on Tuesday 17^th November that there are enough evidence of dishonouring the local people by unrestrained Arbaki militiamen for ransom, and the people are still suffering from their felonies.

On Tuesday 24^th November, media reported about killing of two brothers in ‘Kama’ district of ‘Nangarhar’ province by the former governor of this province.

Similarly, on Monday 30^th November, in this incessant series of civilian tortures and killings, three ordinary countrymen including a teacher were martyred by local wicked Arbaki militiamen in ‘Khas Urzgan’ district of ‘Urzgan’ province.

Weirdness of the national brutality government:

Though the stooge admin, from the beginning of its formation by foreign occupiers, is full of such eccentricities whose examples cannot easily be traced in previous governments, but with the passage of time the substantial increase in these oddities by America, like the appointment of two heads for one admin, was astonishing and interesting for everyone. More likewise incidents have occurred in this month, and a few examples are furnished in the following lines:

When the first head of the puppet regime asked the German government to expel Afghan asylum seekers from their country, he faced a strong reaction from the repatriation minister of his setup who enjoys open and strong support of Iranian government. Due to this inconsistent behaviour, the Afghan immigrants stranded in those countries are facing an uncertain situation as they do not know what will happen to their future; while the differences inside the heterogeneous admin is increasing day by day.

In the series of looting and plundering the national wealth, SEEGAR announced on Monday 2^nd November that the officials of defence ministry of puppet regime were found involved in huge corruption of forty three million dollars in a gas project of this ministry.

Similarly, on Thursday 19^th November, the NATO occupying forces announced that wide spread corruption throughout Afghanistan has resulted in substantial reduction of funds for this alliance by the donor countries.

Meanwhile FIFA, a private organ for holding free and fair elections, announced that members of parliament ask for huge sums of money from all those cabinet ministers who are summoned in front of these looters for clarification, while in return, they give their vote of confidence to these summoned ministers. The situation became even more embarrassing when the minister of Hajj and Trusts was summoned in National Assembly besides the directors of National Aviation Department and Aryana Airlines Company where a huge corruption of nearly eight millions Afghanis was disclosed in the Hajj programme of Afghan pilgrimage to the Holy places in Saudi Arabia.

The process of beating and humiliating of Traffic police and other low ranking security personnel of puppet regime by the influential warlords and their private guards and unrestrained armed men is incessant for the last several years. In the recent past, the capital city of Kabul was the witness of likewise incidents in which the local people were attracted by the out crying of a policeman who was badly beaten and kicked by an influential parliament member and his armed militiamen.

On Tuesday 3^rd November, the so called interior ministry of stooge government announced that in the wake of beating and injuring three security policemen by a parliament member, they had the intention to re-evaluate this issue of beating the security personnel by various former warlords and their unrestrained armed groups.

The first head of the stooge admin who has been completely deprived of sound mind and reason, remains always eager to add something odd to his life-history. Occasionally he issues decrees which not only contradicts their own constitution according to expert lawyers, but also provokes the anger and severe retaliation of his shareholder in power.

On Wednesday 4^th November, lawyers and parliament members expressed their deep concern in a meeting about this behaviour of the first head of the puppet regime.

On Saturday 28^th November, the second head of stooge admin annulled a decree of the first head sent to respective organs about the dismissal of an official of Kabul based administration. Eventually this official remained in his position by getting another fresh decree from the second head of the mercenary government.

Another weirdness of this puppet setup is the appointment of ‘Younas Qanooni’, on Thursday 5^th November, as the new head of ‘High Peace Council’. He is one of the well-known traitors of the country, belonging to former notorious northern alliance, who officially signed the treaty of enslaving his own country in ‘Bonn’ for the sake of getting a temporary post in the forthcoming stooge setup under the auspices of brutal foreign invaders.

In this month, an agreement of building a new city was signed by the stooge government officials with a well-known thief who looted millions of dollars of ordinary people from a government bank, and who was imprisoned after court indictment.

In ‘Ghazni’ province, local kidnapers dressed in police uniform kidnap the people in broad-day light and then release them after getting huge amounts of ransom from their families. This suffering of the ordinary people was vocally discussed in media.

On Tuesday 17^th November, ‘Pazwak News Agency’, considered one of biased and supportive agency of stooge admin, told in a report from ‘Andar’ district of ‘Ghazni’ province that even innocent women of local people are abducted by notorious Arbaki militiamen for getting money. This felony was confessed and confirmed by the security chief of this province by issuing a statement and claiming some video clips which manifested the aggression of unrestrained Arbaki militiamen while disgracing the ordinary people by abducting their wives and then asking for ransom. The report added that the stooge officials had not troubled themselves to relieve the people from this criminal behaviour of armed militiamen.

The above mentioned incidents are not confined to this area only, unfortunately they are spread in ‘Takhar’ and various other northern provinces of the country too.

On Monday 16^th November, representative of ‘Takhar’ province told in the gathering assembly of plunderers that the security chief and director of crime control department of this province are involved in abducting the people and then asking for ransom. It is worth-mentioning that the local police of Kabul are in no way less involved in these felonies.

On Monday 23^rd November, media reported from the heart of the country that a girl who fled her home, then arrested, was sexually abused by policemen in their custody.

Abduction is not the only source of significant income for security forces, policemen and other officials of the stooge regime; as the provincial assembly of ‘Ghazni’ province told on Friday 27^th November that the chief commander of police force was found involved in selling light and heavy weapons, food supplies and various other items provided for enhancing police capabilities.

On Saturday 14^th November, the officials of puppet regime falsely claimed about rescuing those eight persons who were captured by ‘Daish’ (ISIS) a few months ago. Later, the evidences clarified that actually they were rescued by Taliban and not by the stooge government forces.

On one side, security forces and policemen are absconding the government and joining Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate; and on the other side, the security commander of ‘Badghis’ province told on Sunday 15^th November, that a large number of police personnel are found absent from their duties for unknown and untold reasons while getting salaries at the end of month.

The so called ‘High Peace Council’ is persistently announcing on the daily basis that such and such number of Mujahidin laid down their arms by their efforts and joined the stooge and dependent setup, but they could not prove the surrender of even a single real Mujahid in this process.

On Sunday 15^th November, the stooge officials of ‘Saripul’ province revealed the mystery and told that a person claiming himself a Taliban commanders surrendered thrice along with his colleagues to the stupid officials of the stooge government and received significant remunerations. This and likewise other incidents and their official confirmation discloses the reality of surrendered people and the false claims of the above mentioned council which extravagantly spends huge amounts of money for this purpose.

Among the mercenaries, wicked ‘Zahir Qadir’, claimed on Monday 23^rd November, after finding other illegal sources of accumulating wealth and smuggling closed, barefacedly claimed that the national security organ of the stooge government is secretly supporting ‘Daish’ (ISIS). In this way he assembled some thieves and fighters in ‘Nangarhar’ province and labelled them as ‘People Up-rise’ militia. He, then, declared himself as the leader of these plunderers.

In the recent days, one of the well-known political figure of the mercenary admin who was consistently involved in imputation against Mujahidin for the last fourteen years and had remained sincere in his full capacity to the puppet regime, was deadly beaten for criticizing the policies and strategies of Kabul bases stooge administration.

Another weirdness of the heterogeneous setup in Kabul is that after signing the malicious ‘Bilateral Security Agreement’ of enslaving Afghanistan by American for an extended period of time, it was understood that foreign invading forces would no longer participate in ground operations and would provide aerial support if required by their Afghan mercenary forces. But, this accord was abolished and violated when the American occupying forces were practically and directly found involved in the last month fighting in ‘Kunduz’ province.

Moreover, on Friday 27^th November, media reported that foreign occupying forces had launched fresh night operations in ‘Sangin’ district of ‘Kandahar’ province, in which, several civilians were martyred, injured and taken away as prisoners by these brutal forces.

Similarly, on Monday 30^th November, ‘NATO’ spokesman in Kabul announced that this alliance is intended to launch a fresh wave of air strikes inside Afghanistan during next year. All these expressions and incidents show the explicit and bold violation of the enslavement agreement which was signed between masters and mercenaries.

Diminishing of people’s trust in Kabul based regime:

The inevitable outcome of the above mentioned bitter realities is that the people are losing trust and confidence in the dependent admin of Kabul which is declining day by day.

On Tuesday 17^th November, a survey conducted by the ‘Asia Foundation’ manifested that fifty seven percent of ordinary Afghans have expressed their uncertainty and lack of confidence in the future of the present heterogeneous setup of Kabul based puppet regime.

7 vehicles destroyed in Khan-Shan, 25 killed and destroyed

HELMAND, Dec. 20 – Hireling troops backed by American invaders arrived at Mirza Agha hill area of Khan-e-Sheen district a few days earlier to try an retake the district center from Mujahideen.

Mujahideen engaged the combined enemy troops with landmines and direct fire, destroying 5 APCs and a pickup truck with bombs and another APC with RPG fire as well as targeting the dismounted troops with 5 IEDs as a result a total of 25 combined enemy personnel were killed and wounded.

The enemy claims of causing huge casualties to Mujahideen and retaking large swaths of land is baseless propaganda merely aimed at raising the spirits of their fighters and receiving cash rewards from their masters.

The enemy has not made any advancements so far and all claims otherwise are pure fabrications.

15 killed as 3 posts ovverun in Gerishk, equipment seized

HELMAND, Dec. 20 – Officials reporting from Helmand province say that Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate carried out coordinated attacks on 3 strategic enemy check posts located in Gerishk district’s Da Adam Khan region at around 01:00 am local time today.

All 3 enemy positions were overrun after a brief gun battle, forcing the cowardly enemy to flee while leaving behind the corpses of 15 comrades.

7 Ak rifles and a sizable amount of other equipment was also seized in the successful operation.

This comes a day after Mujahideen cleared Zumbuli region from enemy forces, overrunning the last remaining outpost and seizing 30000 ammunition rounds along with other equipment.

5 more posts ovverun in Gerishk, large area cleared

HELMAND, Dec. 18 – Reports arriving from Gerishk district say that the operation launched by Mujahideen on enemy positions around the district center on Wednesday is said to be still ongoing today.

Officials say that 5 more strategic enemy check posts have been overrun while the large region of Zumbuli has been completely cleared from enemy presence, adding that the large number of casualties have also been inflicted upon the enemy and a sizable amount of equipment seized.

Mujahideen are currently carrying out attacks on an enemy outpost located on Kharh Neika hill close to Zumbuli area, more details about which will be updated later.

3 posts overrun in Sangin 12 gunmen killed

HELMAND, Dec. 18 – Amid the ongoing annual ‘Azm’ operations, Mujahideen of Islamic

Emirate launched coordinated attacks on a large police station and 2 check posts located in Chughak area near Sangin district bazaar.

The fighting lasted for about 2 hours as a result all 3 enemy positions were overrun, causing the enemy heavy casualties and forcing the fleeing enemy to leave behind the corpses 12 comrades.

2 enemy pickup trucks, 2 US machine guns, RPG launcher, 4 US rifles, mortar tube, 5 Ak rifles and a large amount ammunition and other equipment was seized.

All praise is due to Allah alone, no Mujahideen were harmed in the operation.

4 posts overrun in Gerishk, heavy fighting underway

HELMAND, Dec. 17 – Arbaki check posts located near Gerishk district bazaar were brought under coordinated attacks by Mujahideen at around 01:00 am local time today.

The assault triggered heavy battles which are said to be still ongoing at the moment in which so far 4 check posts have been overrun and a large area complete cleared from enemy presence with only 4 militia corpses left behind by the fleeing enemy.

A sizable amount of arms, ammunition and equipment has also been seized by Mujahideen in the operation, more details about which will be updated later.

15 killed as base, 4 posts overrun in Washir

HELMAND, Dec. 17 – At around 01:00 am local time today, Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate launched coordinated attacks on a strategic enemy base and 4 check posts located in Denzo and Gorazan areas near Washir district center.

The attacks lasted till 05:00 am in the morning as a result all 5 enemy positions were overrun, 15 gunmen killed, dozens wounded and the rest forced to flee.

An enemy pickup truck, APC, 2 mortars, 2 Dshk heavy machine guns, a ZPU-1 gun, a SPG-9 artillery, 5 US machine guns, 7 US rifles, a sniper rifle an a large amount of ammunition and other equipment was seized, officials say adding that 3 Mujahideen have also been injured by enemy return fire and 4 others rewarded martyrdom (may Allah accept them).

The UK Defence Secretary today refused to answer questions from Members of Parliament on whether there were any differences between the US’ long-running covert drone programme, and the UK’s own targeted killing programme, announced by the Prime Minister as a “new departure” earlier this year.

For over a decade, the CIA and the US’ secretive Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) have been using unmanned aircraft to carry out ‘targeted killings’ in countries such as Pakistan and Yemen, where the US is not at war, as part of a global ‘war on terror’ without boundaries.

Announcing the UK’s “new departure” on drones on 7 September this year, David Cameron said that a “targeted strike” had been carried out in “a country where we are not involved in a war,” and admitted that this was “the first time in modern times” that this had happened.  He suggested that there would be no geographical limit to such activity, claiming that he would “be prepared to take that action…whether the threat is emanating from Libya, from Syria or anywhere else.”

Today, Defence Secretary Michael Fallon was asked by the Chair of the Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR), Harriet Harman, “can you just say as a matter of fact comparing the two [the US and UK drone policies], where you think the differences are, or if they’re the same?”  Mr Fallon replied “I don’t want to draw comparisons between our policy and their policy.”

The US drone programme has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and has been widely criticised by senior US military figures: General Michael Flynn, former head of the US Defence Intelligence Agency, has described it as a “failed strategy,” while  General Stanley McChrystal has warned it creates “resentment” towards “American arrogance.”

Commenting, Kat Craig, legal director at international human rights organisation Reprieve, which has investigated civilian casualties caused by the US programme and is assisting MPs seeking clarification of the new UK ‘Kill Policy’ said: “This appearance raised more questions about the UK’s new ‘Kill Policy’ than it answered.  It is hardly surprising Mr Fallon was so reluctant to answer this question, when the UK policy is in effect a carbon copy of the US drone programme.  Both are highly secretive, legally dubious, and subject to almost zero accountability either by politicians or the courts.  It is bewildering that the UK is following the US lead on a programme which even senior US military figures have described as a ‘failed strategy’ which has not made us safer.  At the very least, Mr Fallon should come clean with the public that this is the way the UK Government is headed, so we can have a real debate.”

On Friday 6^th of December 2015 a rocket struck a mosque in Sayed Abad district of Wardak province, Afghanistan which killed and injured 18 people included children. Many of the injured are also in critical condition.

The painful question is this that by whom this mosque was targeted? By American aerial bombing? By Nato’s indiscriminate attack? By other foreign occupiers? Those who are always preaching us about human rights?

Or those who claim to be one of us and commit crimes against their people even more than the foreigners?

All these slogans emphasizing nationalities such as the national army, national police, local police – we don’t understand what they mean with these ‘national’ institutions, if they are implying that they serve their nationals then they are clearly out to dupe us since they kill their nationals more than they serve them.

Our poor people don’t have any safety even in the house of God from foreigners or those who wear military uniforms in the name of this nation? This mosque was not some stronghold of national terror opponents that these mercenary forces so cruelly attacked it.

What was the crime of these worshippers that they faced such a miserable fate?

If civilians are perceived as opponents of the Kabul regime and they don’t have any safety of life and property anywhere then whom are the people that support the Kabul regime?

What was these poor victims crime? Were they killed for going to the mosque? Was their crime sitting in a mosque and remembering their Lord? Was it that they were praying and reciting the Quran? Or something else?

Has anyone asked why the blood of these innocent people was shed? Where is the media which always accuses the insurgents of committing war crimes? Why do they turn a blind eye to this atrocity? After all, was not their countrymen that were killed in this crime? If such a crime had been committed by anyone other than the government they would surely have created a storm with their reports.

When something of similar nature happens in France or America, the entire world rushes in to pay their respects to the fallen. Where are our respects and condolences?

Alas we must accept that our poor nation is the hated child of this international community, none care for our fallen, for our grief, and none care to stop those committing such atrocities on our people.

Such atrocities occur in our land daily yet unfortunately no one cares enough to investigate them, to compensate the victims, to console them, or to carry out an investigation to prevent its recurrence.

It is as a result of such atrocities that our people have turned their backs to their supposed protectors. Surely that day will arrive when all our countrymen will join the forces of resistance creating a storm that will cleanse our country.

A distinguished religious scholar of the country Mawlawi Abdul Raqib, the son of Mawlawi Muhammad Idris from Gandomak area in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province was captured by US forces 2 years earlier in Nangarhar and detained in the notorious prisons of Nangarhar and Bagram the following two years. He was martyred 2 days earlier from extreme beating, torture and cruelty and his funeral prayers carried out today in the Eid Gah mosque of Jalalabad city with thousands of our countrymen participating.

This is not the first time that our imprisoned countrymen have been brutally martyred in the notorious prisons, detention centers and dark cells of intelligence agencies of America and her stooge Kabul regime and their bodies displaying signs of torture handed over to their family members.

The Islamic Emirate strongly condemns this barbaric act of the Americans, sends its deepest condolences to the family of Mawlawi Abdul Raqib and considers itself a partner in their grief. At the same time it vows that it shall avenge the innocent martyrs by targeting the foreign invaders and their corrupt lackeys.

Concerning the ongoing barbarities being carried out against our innocent countrymen, detainees and especially religious scholars in the prisons of America and Kabul administration, we call upon the claimants of defenders of human rights and other neutral parties to fulfill their duties in regards to protecting the lives and health of prisoners.

Pakistan this morning reportedly executed Saqi Shah, who was arrested and convicted when he was 16 years old.

Shah, who was sentenced to death in June 1992, had already spent 23 years in prison – 20 of which have been on death row. According to the Asian Commission for Human Rights, Shah’s birth certificate shows he was born in April 1975, making him 16 at the time of his conviction. The execution of juveniles is illegal under Pakistani and international law.

Executions in Pakistan resumed a year ago on Saturday (December 19th), after a moratorium had long been in place. Since then more than 300 people have been executed, including 5 juveniles, according to international human rights NGO Reprieve which has been tracking the executions.

Among those juveniles is Aftab Bahadur, who was 15 at the time of his arrest for a crime of which all eyewitnesses in the case said he was innocent. Faisal Mahmood, another juvenile, was also executed earlier this year, despite the fact that not even the Government’s own lawyers disputed his age.

Saqi Shah’s execution is at least the fifth documented execution of a juvenile prisoner executed in Pakistan this year, although given problems with birth registration in the country it is likely that the real number is far higher.

Maya Foa, Director of Reprieve’s Death Penalty team, said: “It is shocking that the Pakistani government is continuing wilfully on their course of executing person after person, day after day. It is all the more horrific that untold numbers of those being executed were convicted when they were just children – just like Saqi Shah reportedly was. The Pakistani government must put a halt to all executions so that they can fully investigate who exactly they are trying to kill.”

A two day conference dubbed ‘Heart of Asia’ was held in Islamabad the capital of Pakistan a couple days ago which was said to be convened to find a solution to the Afghan problem but in reality was a key meeting to hash out differences between India and Pakistan. However since it was declared that the main issue at the discussion table would be that of Afghanistan therefore Ashraf Ghani of the chaotic Kabul administration was also at attendance.

Officials warmly welcomed him to Islamabad with celebratory cannon fire and after the meeting a joint press conference was given alongside the Pakistani minister. Ashraf Ghani stated that he is fighting against the Taliban because they pose a threat to the world and is an international phenomenon but at the same time added that he is willing to talk to the Taliban. Following Ashraf Ghani’s daft and paradoxical assertions the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other Pakistani officials offered promises and asked for certain things in return:

1. Afghanistan’s enemy is our enemy.

2. Will fully support the Afghan peace process.

3. Asked Afghanistan stop accusations against Pakistan.

4. And other elusive things that were repetitive and abstract from the ground realities.

Ashraf Ghani made this trip as the hirelings left behind were wailing in unison at the hands of Mujahideen. The unique attack by the Mujahideen from martyrdom seeking battalion on Kandahar airbase sapped all morale of the lackeys and their masters while the liberation of Khan-e-Sheen district was another blow which broke the neck of the enemy in the south west.

On the other hand Ashraf Ghani returned back to Kabul to a mountain of resignations, objections and condemnations.

– Former head of the stooge administration Hamid Karzai strongly condemned all his pronouncements made at Islamabad even though Ashraf Ghani and his team considered them to be very appropriate.

However Karzai said that he officially recognized the Durand Line because he referred to the people of Waziristan as Pakistanis.

– Amrullah Saleh similarly stated that the smiles and laughter of Ashraf Ghani and his delegation was a betrayal of the blood 8000 Afghans killed in the year 2015.

This came as Pakistani media remarked that Ashraf Ghani was advised by his advisors to refrain from smiles and laughter at Islamabad but as soon as he saw his warm reception he immediately burst into laughter threw all advises behind him.

– Rahmatullah Nabil the head of intelligence in the chaotic Kabul administration openly blasted Ashraf Ghani in front of the media and said that Ashraf Ghani sold out 5000 year old Afghanistan to a 60 year old Pakistan because he accepted the presence of Mullah Fazlullah at the behest of Pakistani officials. He therefore presented his letter of resignation which was immediately accepted by Ashraf Ghani and his replacement appointed.

– The disclosures by a Member of Parliament, Zahir Qadir, several days earlier had also humiliated and smudged the nose of government into dirt while aggravating the extent of internal differences to unprecedented levels. And all of this is happening due to the tremendous psychological and physical pressure being applied by the Mujahideen.

The attack on Kandahar airbase caused casualties that were unprecedented in a single attack carried out throughout the entire year and it was so successful that the Kabul regime was exposed and humiliated in front of the entire world despite the best efforts of media to hide its actual extent.

The only thing gained by Ashraf Ghani from the Islamabad conference were those mentioned above and nothing else…!

– Meaning two or three repetitive promises from neighboring and world countries at the conference

– Returning home to a pile of resignations, deep disagreements, insulting condemnations and disappointments.

– And the only thing to show for it were the Kandahar attack, loss of Khan-e-Sheen to the Taliban and the absolute demoralization of hireling forces!!

The previous two parts of this series discussed how societal change often erupts into an open competition between the proponents of change and society’s natural conservative tendencies. And this societal resistance despite the fact that change has often propelled humanity to a higher state of knowledge and development. To emphasis this point the previous part of this article briefly outlined some historical developments that propelled humanity towards scientific or moral advancement and yet were met by strong societal resistance. This part will continue with that theme discussing the emergence of Europe from the Dark Ages. At the risk of oversimplifying complex historical trends, the article will only provide a brief historical outline of these developments.

The cradle of Europe’s Renaissance were the Italian and Iberian Peninsulas. The interaction of Berbers, Arabs and Spaniards in the Spanish Peninsula and the Venetian trade around the Mediterranean Basin led to the reintroduction and dissemination of scientific and philosophical writings in continental Europe. The translation of ancient Greek and Arab texts’ to Latin reawakened the European mind.

The Spanish Reconquista left many of these texts in the hands of Europeans. These texts first gave rise to the reawakening of religious philosophy. These philosophical discussions served as a catalyst for the rethinking of religious debates which in turn gave rise to new and novel ideas such as those of John Calvin which resulted in the Protestant Reformation.

These new ideas soon resulted in violent clashes between the supporters of the Reformation and the champions of the conservative ideas. An example of this conflict was the Thirty Years War that devastated Germany and ended with the Treaty of Westphalia.

The conflict between these groups were so violent and lasting that there soon emerged a third group which expressed deep abhorrence for the role of religion in the public sphere and instead championed the role of reason in this sphere. These ideas gave rise to the European Enlightenment movement, which soon gained prominence in Europe and in turn lead to even greater battles between the secular proponents of reason and the defenders of religious authority.

Examples of such battles can be found in the English Civil war and the French Revolution. Other examples of wars fueled by Enlightenment ideals (i.e. the subservience of religion to temporal authority in the public sphere) were arguable the American War of Independence and the Communist Revolution in Russia.

While many westerners today take their peaceful situations for granted, in truth this situation was preceded by centuries of conflict between proponents and opponents of change in their society.

The writers and thinkers of today find themselves confounded by the supposed anarchy engulfing the Muslim world. Unable to find reasons explaining the drivers of these conflicts they readily resort to rhetoric that places all blame on the religion of Islam. Particularly we see many Christians of America and Europe lashing out against the Islam, accusing it of preaching intolerance and bigotry. They conveniently forget the devastation and misery their religion fueled through the Crusades, the Reconquista, the conquest of the New World, and then in the wars between the Catholics and Protestants.

If we look at the Muslim world from a historical perspective we can see that in fact these diverging tendencies of the Muslim societies are not driven by religion intolerance but something more basic. Since the colonization of the Muslim lands and the imposition of European ideas on the Muslims the people of these lands have been experiencing what can be termed as ‘loss of identity’.

The populations and rulers of these lands have lived under circumstances and ideals that have no appeal to them and fail to address their basic needs. Thus these societies have been in search of new ideas that fill this vacuum.

This has resulted in the revival of Islamic ideas which for centuries filled this void. This revival in turn has led to counter-resistance from the proponents of the status quo particularly in the ruling class which has a vested interest in maintaining the current situation. While the proponents of change see their endeavors as a means to elevating the moral status of their societies and material progression, the proponents of the status quo are driven by society’s natural inhibition against change and see the proposed changes as a threat to their positions.

Furthermore the champions of the status quo – schooled in the secularism of Europe – so abhor these new notions that they are willing to take any steps, no matter how violent, to stop the spread of these new ideas.

In such a situation it is only natural that tensions between the two camps will be so rigid that they give rise to violent confrontations further upping the antebetween the two groups. And unfortunately so, unless and until this tug of rope between the Islamists and the secularists results in the complete dominance of one group over the other, the anarchy of the Middle East is not going anywhere. We can take solace in the fact though, that history has always been on the side of change…

Demonstrators gathered outside a Beijing court on Monday to protest the detention of Pu Zhiqiang (50) a human rights lawyer and challenge China’s continued clampdown on freedom of expression under President Xi Jinping. Pu took part in the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests. He was detained in 2014 in relation to 7 social media posts where he is accused of “inciting ethnic hatred” and “picking quarrels and provoking trouble”. This could mean a jail sentence of up to 8 years. Human Rights Watch stated that Pu’s comments were “wholly protected under international law” and claimed that he had “been denied adequate medical treatment”.

The Guardian reported,

“In one of Pu’s supposedly illicit posts, written in the aftermath of a deadly terrorist attack by Muslim extremists, he attacked the Communist party’s policies in Xinjiang, a violence-stricken region of western China that is home to the Uighur ethnic minority.

In another Pu mocked Mao Zedong’s grandson, Mao Xinyu, and an elderly member of China’s rubber-stamp parliament who had admitted to never opposing Communist party policy during her 60-year career.

A third Weibo post, for which Pu has also been charged, saw him attack a government official following a 2011 high-speed rail disaster which claimed 40 lives and saw authorities accused of attempting a cover-up.”

Pu’s supporters were jostled by police and plainclothes security forces wearing face masks (more likely to conceal identity than shield from the smog) as they held up placards calling for freedom of speech and declaring Pu “not guilty”. The scene took on a slightly surreal quality as men displaying yellow smiley-face stickers on their jackets pushed activists, journalists and diplomats away from the court building and along the street.

Philip Wen, China correspondent for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age tweeted a photo of the aggression shown by plain clothes police. He compared the Pu demonstration with previous protests saying, “worse today. To me seems like Beijing wants to deliberately send a message that outside pressure won’t affect how it tries its activists.”

Scuffles as Chinese human rights lawyer #PuZhiqiang stands trial

Chris Smith Chair Rep, Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC) said, “holding sham trials to convict rights defenders does nothing to demonstrate the Communist Party’s strength or enhance its international prestige.  Whatever the verdict may be, this trial is an indictment of the Chinese legal system and not Pu Zhiqiang.” The Wall Street Journal reported, “diplomats from the U.S., Canada, Germany, France and several other countries as well as the European Union attempted to attend the trial, but were turned away.”

Fergus Ryan, a Beijing based journalist posted the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of China statement on assault of journalists outside Pu Zhiqiang’s trial.

Pu Zhiqiang is one of a long list of campaigners that have seen the sharp end of state bullying tactics, others include, Hu Jia activist on democracy, HIV/AIDS , environment, Wan Yanhai, AIDS activist (now living in US) Ai Weiwei, artist and activist, Zeng Jinyan, blogger and human rights activist. CECC said,

“President Xi has waged an extraordinary assault on rights defenders and civil society in recent years.  Until the release of Pu Zhiqiang and the many other political prisoners is a clear and consistent priority of U.S.-China relations, the Chinese government will continue to believe that it can act with impunity and without any consequences.  To send a clear message, the Administration should bar every judge, prosecutor, and security official associated with this trial from getting U.S. entry visas and taking part in U.S.-funded programs.”
