AFGHANISTAN, Oct. 18 – There has been heavy fighting following Mujahideen attacks on the enemy check posts and installation all along Kabul-Jalalabad highway since yesterday night, leading to closure of the highway as well as killing some 35 police and soldiers of ANA, Al-Emarah News says.
The enemy military and supply convoys came under attacks in different points along the mentioned highway last night in which 3 armored tanks, 8 military vehicles, 8 container carrying trucks and 6 supply trucks with a crane were destroyed, while several enemy posts were dismantled in the operation, it adds, further saying that 2 Mujahideen have been martyred with five others wounded in the entire operation since last night.
According to a report from northern Badakhshan province, Mujahideen raided four of the enemy military posts in Raghistan district of the province, ending up evicting the enemy from the posts.
The district police chief and two of his gunmen were also mortally injured in the operation.
The operation came after a former warlord, Amanullah Paiman, currently a lawyer in the Kabul parliament amid a visit to the area engaged in spreading ant-Mujahideen propaganda.
In a report from northern Baghlan province, Mujahideen overran an enemy military post last night in Dahana-e-Ghour district of the province, killing two puppets including a commander and leaving a further three wounded.
