Naveed Butt disappeared 4 years ago (image via wife Mrs Saadia Butt)

Release my husband Naveed Butt, 4 years-No more! Four years ago on Friday, 11th May, 2012 my husband Naveed Butt was abducted in broad day light in front of our three innocent children. Since that day, we have been given no information about him whatsoever. Naveed Butt was engaged in the peaceful struggle of implementation of Islamic system in Pakistan. The only purpose of his life was to gain the pleasure of Allah (swt); by demanding establishment of complete Islamic system, that is Khilafah Rashidah on the method of Prophethood; in his beloved homeland Pakistan.

His call was by word of mouth and writings. That is because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only carried the Islamic Dawah through intellectual and political struggle in Makkah. The Prophet ﷺ and his companions were persecuted and tortured in a ferocious way in Makkah. It was to the extent that during the Prophet’s ﷺ da’wah in Makkah, Abdur Rahman ibn ‘Awf (RA) along with some other Sahabah once asked permission from the Prophet ﷺ to fight. They said “O Messenger ﷺ of Allah! When we were idolaters, we were honored, but since we have believed, we have been humiliated”. However he ﷺ refused saying : “إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ بِالْعَفْوِ، فَلا تُقَاتِلُوا” “Indeed I have been ordered to forgive so do not fight the people(until you are ordered to fight).” [Reported by Ibn Abi Hatim and an-Nasai and al-Haakim]

That is precisely why Naveed, following the Prophet’s ﷺ example, decided to do an intellectual and political struggle against the current system. My husband did electrical engineering from University of Illinois, Chicago. After getting higher education he started a job in one of the famous companies in Chicago. However, his mind was always pre-occupied with the ambition of betterment of muslims and his own homeland. He was deeply interested in the history of his country Pakistan. He knew that millions of muslims sacrificed their lives for this country that was made on 14th August, 1947; and they gave their lives only because they understood that here a state like the state of Medina was going to be established. That is the reason why, even after losing the honors of their mothers and sisters and sacrificing the lives of their children, when they put their first step on this land with their torn bodies and souls, they used to prostrate in thanking the Almighty and kiss the soil in devotion.

Alas! those innocent muslims had no idea that all their wishes and dreams of the establishment of Islamic system will go down the drain of Capitalist system. So, due to this reason my husband decided to leave his comfortable and luxurious life in America and come back to Pakistan. He worked day and night for the establishment of Islamic system in Pakistan. His only ideal was Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and following his ﷺ example Naveed Butt started the campaign of convincing the public and the intelligentsia for the complete implementation of Islam. Being the spokesman of a global Islamic political party Hizb ut Tahrir in Pakistan, he used to meet the representatives of media, columnists, journalists and television anchors and discussed the complete and all at once implementation of Islam in Pakistan. He issued numerous press releases in which the flaws and oppressive nature of current Capitalist system were highlighted along with exposing the treachery, conspiracies and the collusion of our rulers with the enemy infidels.

That was the very course pursued by Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he ﷺ exposed the oppression and injustice of the leaders and systems of the Quresh of Makkah. And this is why Musharraf banned Hizb ut Tahrir in 2003 at the orders of America, the same way as the Quresh boycotted the Prophet ﷺ and cut off every relation with muslims. My husband Naveed Butt is a very soft hearted and loving person. He is the beloved of his whole family. His sisters and brother are devastated due to his prolonged absence. We have three sons and one daughter. Our youngest son was only two years old at the time of his abduction. Today when he asks questions about his father, I say to him that he is detained for the crime of raising his voice for the Deen of Allah and only Allah will free him. My daughter misses her father more than ever and keeps on praying for his release day and night.

Naveed’s heart aches for the whole Ummah and the muslims of Pakistan. I have seen him sleepless at nights due to the oppression perpetrated against the muslims. His anxiety increased when he saw the muslim blood spilling all over the world and our rulers’ criminal silence on this cruelty. That is the reason why he never stopped from raising the word of truth. And that in the eyes of the rulers amounted to a crime. If in his place was any other “normal” man in pursuit of this world, he would have left this mission long before and got entangled himself in earning money. On the contrary, he dedicated his life for the Dawah of Islam.

Today, he is missing due to his aforementioned crime. It has been four long years since his abduction. If he has broken any law of the state of Pakistan, then why wasn’t he awarded any punishment or presented in courts? What on the earth is his crime? While the dacoits, murderers, thieves and the accused in Panama Leaks are roaming free in the country; who have looted the hard earned money of the people for sixty years. Whereas, raising the word of truth is my husband’s only crime. That is why, I demand from the people of power and the rulers to release him immediately. He has already served four years in illegal prison for undisclosed crimes. We have run from pillar to post in search of justice, i.e. from Islamabad High Court to Supreme Court of Pakistan to Lahore High Court. Our case was even heard in the commission for enforced disappearances but despite the repeated orders of the courts, Naveed Butt was never presented in front of court. It was all useless.

So now my only hope and expectation is from Allah Almighty. I have faith in Him, that indeed He never humiliates His devout servants. Allah (swt) says: والذین جاھدوا فینالنھدینّھم سبلنا وان اللہ لمع المحسنین “And those who strive for Us, We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed Allah is with the Doers of good” (Al-Ankaboot:69)

(Image via Mrs Saadia Butt)

Free my father Naveed Butt! I only want my father to come home. Everyone loves his parents. Sometimes one’s father and mother scold them but mostly they love them. When my father used to go outside for job, I waited for him eagerly. When he came home I used to run to him and sit in his lap. It has been four years but he has not returned. At the time of his abduction I was six years old. Now I am ten years old. I have waited four long years, but now I can’t wait more. Everyone is praying for him, therefore I request all of you to pray for my father’s release. Whenever I see anyone’s father showing affection to his children, I miss my father. So, O ruler uncle! Will you have mercy on a ten year old child? This abduction from 2012 to 2016 is more than enough. I just want to say please release my father immediately! Allah Haafiz!

Maryam binte Naveed, age 10 years.

Kashmir: Pro-Freedom leaders issue statement following days of unrest after Burhan Wani killing

Killing of rebel leader Burhan Wani has triggered more unrest in Kashmir

(Image via ia Adil Latif)

Press Release

Srinagar/11//The pro freedom leaders have said that the martyrdom of Burhan Wani and his two aides is the continuation of martyrdom of 13th July 1931 and called for the extension of the ongoing Hartal till 13th July in the whole valley. The leadership in a joint statement said that 13th July would be observed as the reaffirmation Day and all the three leaders including Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq and Yasin Malik would march from Hyderpora Jamia Masjid and Maisuma towards Mazar-e-Shuhda Naqshband Sahab, respectively. The people would raise and repeat the slogan of right to self determination. The leadership has warned the government to stop the killing of innocent and unarmed people of Kashmir during the peaceful protests otherwise the situation would take a serious turn and New Delhi along with the state would be held responsible for that.

The pro-freedom leadership has termed government’s appeal for helping to restore normalcy as a childish and illogical statement. The Indian forces altogether including the JK police and their actions are responsible for the current situation. The situation arising in the hospitals of the valley is scary and the Indian forces are targeting the youth by firing bullets into heads and chests of our innocent children. The government should advice their masters in New Delhi to end the genocide and not to resort to the targeted killings of innocent youth.

Kashmir is not a war mongering nation but is a peace loving nation and are in need of peace. However, the key to open the doors of peace is with India. If they concede the disputed status of Kashmir and resolve it as per the wishes of Kashmir, normalcy will prevail not only Kashmir but the whole of South Asia will enter into the era of peace, stability and progress.

The leadership termed Burhan Wani and his aides’ martyrdom fourth generation after 1931 to continue the resistance movement. Calling for observation of July 13th as Reaffirmation Day the people have been asked to assemble in Mazar e Shuhda Naqashband Sahab (RA) where rich tributes would be paid to the martyrs from 1931 to 2016. The whole nation would reaffirm that Kashmiris will not bow down and surrender before India’s forcible occupation till the last armed personnel is out of our Kashmir. The valley will observe complete shutdown on 12th July also to mark the martyrdom of at least 30 youth killed brutally in the last three days by the Indian forces. Leaders have asked people to observe sit in protest in their nearby mosques as and when curfew is lifted to mark the protest against the oppression.

Kashmir under state of emergency (JKCCS press release): Information released on 55 casualties

Cm7ZqGaWcAAPAGH

Alleged “A Police man kicks a woman for resisting their attempts to snatch body of slain Kulgam youth from protesters at Zampa Kadal on Saturday”. Aman Farooq/GK

Press Release:

10 July 2016

Since the extra-judicial execution of Commander Burhan Wani and two other members of Hizbul Mujahideen, Indian armed forces and Jammu and Kashmir Police have used excessive force to thwart the mourners from protesting and participating in the funeral processions of the slain militants. So far, around 17 civilians have been killed in Islamabad, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama districts, while as more than 350 people have been injured from across all districts of the Kashmir valley. There are reports that CRPF and Police have been involved in the destruction of movable and immovable properties. Curfew has been strictly imposed in all districts of Kashmir, but people are defying the curfew at various places.

It is shocking and painful that Indian armed forces have yet again unleashed terror on the mourners and protesters, resulting in massive civilian casualties. The police and armed forces appear to have free hand to kill, injure, torture and destroy property. The government of India and Jammu and Kashmir lack the will to institute a crowd control policy, which can ensure no or minimized civilian casualties. On the one hand armed forces are preventing the injured to be ferried to hospitals, at the same time senior police officials without any credible investigations have begun to accuse the dead and the injured for their own bloodshed. Additional Director General of Police, S.M. Sahai, yesterday in the press conference accused the protestors of looting the weaponry from the Police Station Damhal Hanjipora and then for using it against the police men. Government should reveal the names of those police personnel who were injured by the firearm used by the civilians and where are they being treated; otherwise Mr. Sahai claim is part of the regular government psy-ops.

Besides the protesters, the CRPF and Police at various places have assaulted the patients and attendants inside the hospitals and ambulances. So far we have reports that Indian armed forces raided the Islamabad District Hospital, PHC Lalpora and SMHS hospital.

Jammu Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society (JKCCS) is concerned about this policy of attacking the ambulances and the hospital. These raids and assaults on the ambulances and inside the hospitals is not the first time. People in Kashmir have witnessed the same in 2008, 2009 and 2010 civil uprisings. Attacking hospitals and ambulances is a crime under the International Humanitarian Law and Indian armed forces have been repeatedly accused of this crime in Kashmir. There is absolute lawlessness and impunity enjoyed by the Indian armed forces and this must be condemned by the people of conscience in India and internationally.

JKCCS has been able to acquire the list of the injured who were admitted in District Hospital, Islamabad and SMHS Hospital, Srinagar. Through this press release, we are releasing the list of injured admitted at SMHS Hospital yesterday. Later, we will share the list of injured admitted in district hospital Islamabad and possibly other hospitals.

Amongst more than 100 patients who were brought to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar a total 55 patients were admitted on 9 July till 9 p.m. Out of 55 patients, four are women, amongst whom three have bullet injuries in their abdomens and all of them are from Bijbehara. From the list of 55 patients two patients have died in the hospital, while as three are said to be still in critical condition.

Out of 55 patients who were admitted in the SMHS hospital, 16 have bullet injuries, while as two people have injuries due to torture by soldiers and 37 people were injured due to pellets. From the 37 persons injured due to pellets, 19 have severe eye injuries as well, which according to doctors may result in permanent visual impairment. About five patients atleast have bullet or pellet injuries on their back side, which clearly means that despite trying to flee away they were attacked by the armed forces. From the available records, it appears atleast 40 out of these 55 patients have above waistline injuries. Around 18 patients out of 55 admitted yesterday at SMHS Hospital are below the age of 18 years.

Several patients with injuries prefer not to get admitted in the hospital as the Police and CRPF have arrested some patients from the hospital and two from the SMHS Hospital Casualty ward. Since yesterday, atleast four times the Police and CRPF have raided the Hospital casualty.

Here is the list of 55 patients who were admitted in the SMHS Hospital yesterday:

Brother of dead teacher slams Obama’s drone casualty figures (Reprieve)

Mohammed al Qawli lost 2 relatives in US drone strike

Brother of dead teacher slams Obama’s drone casualty figures

A Yemeni man who lost two relatives in a U.S. drone strike has today demanded an apology from President Obama, following the release of estimated numbers of civilian deaths from American drones.

Mohammed al Qawli, who founded a support organization for Yemeni victims of drone strikes and has previously advised Yemen’s Department of Education, lost his younger brother and cousin to a U.S. drone strike in January 2013.

The Obama Administration has refused to acknowledge any role in the strike, even after the Yemeni Interior Ministry confirmed that Mr al Qawli’s relatives were innocent victims.

Mr al Qawli’s brother, Ali, was a primary school teacher and father of three. His cousin, Salim, was a university student and part-time taxi driver who, as the eldest of 12 children, was responsible for caring for his family.

On Friday, the White House finally released statistics about the number of civilian casualties from U.S. drone strikes outside of war zones, but refused to name the dead or give any further details about when or where they died.

Mr al Qawli therefore has no way of knowing if Ali and Salim are included in the figure.

Mohammed al Qawli commented:
“The President’s statistics do very little to comfort those who’ve lost innocent family members in secret drone strikes. My brother was a primary school teacher and a father of three. The Yemeni Ministry of Interior said he was an innocent victim – but the Obama administration will not even admit it had a role in his death. Enough secrecy – Obama must apologize for the deaths of innocent drone victims, and ensure that this never happens again.”

Jennifer Gibson, attorney at Reprieve, said: “For years, President Obama has promised the American public that he would shed light on the CIA’s covert assassination program. A body count without further detail does not do that. True transparency requires more. We need details on when and where strikes were taken, who was killed, and how those casualties were counted. We need our President to own up to mistakes made in the drone program. The American public needs this information to hold its government accountable. And Mohammad al Qawli and the hundreds of other families who have lost innocent loved ones to this shadowy program deserve nothing less.”

Islamic Emirate: Warsaw Summit should not repeat past mistakes

monogram2-410x330

Post via Islamic Emirate

Summit of the NATO Head of the States and Governments is scheduled to take place in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland on 8-9 July 2016. The issue of Afghanistan would also come up for discussion during the meeting. Military and financial assistance of NATO member countries to the Kabul Administration is one of the agenda.

It is not the first NATO conference regarding Afghanistan. Since the American invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, America and her allies have held several conferences about Afghanistan. The Bonn Conference was the first conference after the invasion that laid the foundation of a surrogate and colonial government in Afghanistan. Since then, instead resolving the issue, every conference on Afghanistan including the first Bonn Conference has further complicated the Afghan issue. The main reason is that America and her allies are intent on trying to deprive the Afghan Muslim nation from their basic and legitimate rights i.e. independence of the country and establishment of an Islamic system. They want to solve this issue on the basis of their own will and by resorting to the use of force and resource. Unfortunately, they have always turned a blind eye to the ground realities. As such, they have violated international law as regards the legitimate rights of nations and have failed to learn from the long history of Afghanistan.

Surprisingly the West – which wants an independent country for their people and system based on the will of people – are not prepared to recognize the freedom of other nations! furthermore, they are conjuring various allegations and on the basis of their policy of use of force, they perpetrate terror and bloodshed in this twenty first century, which is a century of knowledge and development. Is legitimate struggle for legitimate goal of independence terrorism? Do nations have no right to establish a system on the basis of their beliefs in their own motherlands?

It is certain to say that this issue can never be resolved through military conferences nor can targeted killings, bombardments and night raids sap the resolve of vigilant and committed nations. Confrontation with the Islamic Emirate is, in fact, not confrontation with a group rather it is confrontation with a nation. No one has ever subjugated the Afghans with money and force.

NATO should come out from the circle of the use of force and stratagem and ponder over their mistakes. If they want to solve the issue of Afghanistan, they should disband the policy of use of force and occupation. Rather, realize ground realities if they ever want the real solution of the issue and accept the legitimate demands of our nation.

End

Yemeni drone victim responds to President Obama’s civilian casualty figures (Reprieve)

5th July 2016

A Yemeni victim of the U.S. drone killing program has called on the Obama Administration to reveal whether his family was included in civilian casualty numbers released last week.

Faisal bin ali Jaber, an engineer from Yemen, has repeatedly asked the Administration to publicly admit that the killing of his brother-in-law and nephew in a U.S. drone strike in 2012 was a mistake. His brother-in-law, Salem bin ali Jaber, was an anti-extremist imam who was known for speaking out against al-Qaeda in his sermons, and his nephew, Waleed bin ali Jaber, was a local policeman.

Writing in The Hill today, Mr al Jaber says: “The President’s version of transparency – a simple number – does not help the families of the dead. It also does not help us achieve peace. How can Yemen’s young people make peace with the world when their first experience of the U.S. is hovering drones, killing innocents, where no-one will admit responsibility?

“We simply want the same respect that the President gave to families of an American and Italian hostage killed in a strike: the public recognition that my family members were innocent, and that the U.S. killed them by mistake.”

Jennifer Gibson, attorney at Reprieve, said: “”Friday’s announcement by the Administration was not only missing the truth, it was also missing the faces and names of the hundreds of civilians who have been killed by this secretive CIA program – faces like Faisal. These families deserve more than they got Friday. They deserve to know whether they were among the numbers and they deserve the same apology this Administration delivered to the families of western hostages who were killed. Anything less is not transparency. Until we know who we have killed, far from any battlefield, we can’t begin to make amends or have the public debate this program demands.”

Message of condolence by Islamic Emirate concerning attack in the Prophet’s Mosque

CkutEeoWkAAz4ED-620x330

It is with great sadness to have learnt that an attack has taken place against the guards of the Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Medina, causing multiple casualties.

The Islamic Emirate – which has been shocked by this gruesome act – condemns this incident in the strongest of terms and considers it an act of enmity and hatred towards Islamic rituals. Such acts in al Haram al Nabawi can never be tolerable.

Al Haramain al Sharifain (The Two Holy Sanctuaries) holds a collective value for every Muslim and no act of hostility towards it can ever be acceptable or tolerated. This crime has shown us just how cruel and full of hatred the plots of our enemies are towards our religious sanctums. This must prompt the Muslims to jointly combat it both physically and intellectually.

We pray to the Almighty Allah to safeguard al Haramain al Sharifain. May Allah take revenge from every person and circle that holds such aspiration against this joint value of the Muslims. It seems there is a conspiracy behind these acts therefore the Muslims must do their utmost to dismantle such plots.

Islamic Emirate: Sheikh Habatullah Akhundzada releases Message of Felicitation on the Eve of Eid-ul-fitr

87JutwnG

Sheikh Habatullah Akhundzada (via Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan)

Message of Felicitation of Amir-ul-momineen, Sheikh Habatullah Akhundzada on the Eve of Eid-ul-fitr

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

Praise be to Allah, the One. The only One; the Everlasting Refuge. He begot none, nor was He begotten. There is none equal to Him and not equal to Him in what He creates and plans. None is similar to Him. He alone deserve to be worshipped.

I praise Him, the Almighty and express (my) gratitude. He created us and gave us provision and place of residence and sufficed us and guided us to Islam and favored us with the advent of the Master of Human beings (peace be upon him).

I testify that there is no god but Allah. Alone is He, without any partner. He ordained Islam to be the only way to paradise and I testify that Mohammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messanger. Those who obeyed him, found guidance and those who disobeyed him, neither harms anyone but himself nor harms Allah in the least.

Allah, the Almighty says:

Alif Lam Mim. Do men think that they will be left to say ‘We believe’ and will not be tried?. We tested those who were before them. Allah will certainty know those who are the true from those who are the liars. Or do the evil-doers think that they will escape ( our punishment)? How ill they judge!. He that hopes to meet his Lord (must know) that Allah’s term (appointed hour) is sure to come. And He (alone) hears all and knows all. He who strives, strives only for himself. Verily, Allah is free of all needs from all creation. (Surah: 29, Verses: 1-6)

To Mujahideen, Refugees and all Muslims!

Asalamu Alikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

First of all, I would like to give you felicitation on the occasion of Eid-ul-fitr. Happy Eid! May Allah, the Almighty accept in His Sight your fasting, Taraveh prayers, worship, charity, jihad and all the good deeds. I pray to Allah (Swt) to salvage our country from the claw of the infidel occupation and mischief and bestow on our miserable people the blessing of formation of an Islamic system and peace. Ameen Oh, Lord of the Universe.

To Muslim Mujahid people!

We celebrate the festivities of the auspicious Eid-ul-fitr in a time that half a month ago, a believing, Mujahid and brave leader and Amir-ul-momineen of the Islamic Emirate Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor (may Allah have mercy on him) was martyred by the invaders. Martyr Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor (may Allah mercy on him) was a true and devoted servant of the religion of Allah (Swt). He had devoted all his life to the service of the religion and to raise the Word of God. He did great services during Jihad against the American invasion in years of trials and tribulations like the years of the tenure of the complete rule of the Islamic Emirate. He ingenuously performed the responsibility of strengthening the Islamic Emirate, maintaining its unity and boosting its Jihadic course after the demise of Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him), the Founder of the Islamic Emirate – even didn’t spare to sacrifice his very soul in the cause of Jihad. Ultimately, he obtained the stature of martyrdom while traversing this way.

“Among the believers, there are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. some have fulfilled their vow by death and some are still waiting and they have not changed in the least,” (Surah: 33, Verse: 23)

The constancy, sacrifice and the prideful martyrdom of Martyr Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor ( may Allah have mercy on him) teaches us that our beloved religion and the Lofty Cause needs sacrifices from everyone of us, whether it is Amir or any other member. The blood of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), the pious caliphs and all great personalities has been shed for the cause of this religion. So we should not spare ourselves from any kind of sacrifice but consider martyrdom in the Cause of Allah (Swt) as a pride for ourselves as it was the case with our believing predecessors.

Though the Founder of the Islamic Emirate has passed away and the esteemed Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor ( May Allah have mercy on them) embraced martyrdom, but praise be to Allah, Islam and the honor-loving nation is still there, the Jihadic ranks and files of the Muslim people, Mujahideen, religious scholars, Taliban and the inheritors of martyrs (the Islamic Emirate) is a reality and remains as firm as ever.

The Mujahideen have the same complete Jihadic order, comprehensive organizational set-up and rock-hard and unbreakable unity. The same belief on the basis of which we started jihad years ago to implement Islamic Sharia is still vibrant.

“Many a prophet has fought (in God’s way) and side by side with them (fought) a large bands of devoted men. They never lost heart on account of what befell them in the path of Allah; they neither weakened nor give in. Allah loves those who are firm and steadfast.” (Surah: 3, Verse: 146)

I would like to say about the heavy burden of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate that I consider this weighty burden as a great responsibility rather than a privilege and urge all Mujahideen and honest believers to pray for me so that I could carry out the responsibility unwaveringly and steadfastly and help me in all fields that they can.

The Islamic Emirate is our shared home. I will follow the same path that Amir-ul-momineen Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor (May Allah have mercy on both of them) had been following. I will have confidence in those who enjoyed their confidence. Those who have rendered services in the Islamic Emirate will continue to do so confidently.  There will be no discrimination against anyone and their sacrifices will not be overlooked.

I pray to Allah, the Almighty to give me strength and pledge that I will strictly pay attention to the goals of the Islamic Emirate and will take into account the interests of the Muslim nation; take decisions and carryout all measures with consultation and will never spare any effort in the way of guidance, prosperity, independence and well-being of the oppressed nation. I will try for better reform of courts and efficient conduct of affairs and for:

–release of the prisoners,

–treatment of injured,

–the rights of women as per Sharia,

–to help of orphans and miserable people,

–education and moral training of the emerging generation,

–procurement of equipments for the endeverouring Mujahideen of the strongholds and will make efforts to do good to the people in every sector that can be done. I seek strength from the Almighty Allah in this way.

About the current policy of  the Islamic Emirate, I would like to elucidate that the Islamic Emirate has policy for both military and political fronts. Meanwhile, it believes that Afghanistan is occupied by invaders. Therefore, Jihad is an obligation to drive out the invaders. But, the Islamic Emirate has a clear political policy aimed at ending the occupation, establishing an independent and united country and bringing about a sacred Islamic system. The political office has explained it to the world and the countrymen and it ( the political office) will continue its efforts with a view to resolving the Afghan issue.

Our message to the American invaders and her allies is this: the Afghan Muslim people neither fear from your force nor your stratagem. They consider martyrdom in confrontation with you as a cherished goal of their life. You will not be able to frustrate the determination and our (the Afghans) Jihadic struggle, by your resorting to extending the time of presence of your soldiers or of increasing military rule of engagement in Afghanistan.

Admit the realities instead of useless use of force and muscle show and put an end to the occupation. Our struggle and of our predecessors against you is consciously based on Islamic fundamentals and forges ahead by the power of a freedom-loving spirit. You are facing up not a group or faction but a nation . you are not going to be a winner ( if Allah willing). So it is rationale if you come with a reasonable policy for solution (of the issue) instead of the use of force.

Our message to the supporters of the invaders is that it might have been dawned on you during the past 15 years that you are being used for realization of American goals. Your support and siding with invaders is like the work of those abhorrent faces who in our past history supported the Britons and the Soviets.

The future history and generation will pass similar judgment about you. Abandon your support to the invaders versus (the forces) of liberation of your country. Our doors of forgiveness and tolerance are open on your face. Don’t be carried away by the futile American hopes; the nation is standing against you. The very fact that you are not able to lead a comfortable life despite the foreigners aerial and ground support, makes it clear that you have chosen a stance which is against the will and aspirations of the people. The Afghan do not accept systems installed by foreigners. Our clear message is that, that we do not want monopoly of power. All Afghan tribes and races need each other. Even evolution of Islamic system, independence and strength is entwined with the unity and harmony of the Afghans. Islam teaches us Islamic brotherhood, integrity and to assign responsibilities on the basis of merit. Everyone has the right to benefit from all rights and privileges of life and his/her political and social stature is determined as per his/her qualification and piety. Let’s gird ourselves up for putting an end to the occupation and gain independence and development of the country.

I urge the Muslim of the world to support the Mujahid brothers in the cause of liberation of our country and help them in every possible sector. Pray for them and support them in the current Jihad.

We remind the regional and neighboring countries that the occupation of Afghanistan at the hands of the Americans and the American presence harm our mutual interests. They flare up fire of mischief and destabilize the whole region through their intelligence and military activities. You are expected to join your voice with that of the Afghans to end the occupation or at least do not take steps which contribute to prolongation of presence of the Americans.

We say to those who attribute the Jihadic valor of the Islamic Emirate to Pakistan and Iran and to others that the Mujahideen and the conscious people could not be derailed from their course of actions as a result of such distorted interpretations. Our Mujahid people have deep knowledge of their responsibilities versus their religion and conscious. They behold with their own eyes that the American and NATO army have invaded their home land and the flags of non-believing armies are fluttering in their soils. That is why they have chosen the path of Jihad. The legitimacy, reality and independence of Jihadic stand of the Islamic Emirate is as clear as the broad day light. The future history will record it with golden sentences.

We say to religious scholars, spiritual leaders, teachers of religious and modern education, to students of schools and universities, tribal elders, national businessmen and men of letters and pens to perform your religious and national obligation in this critical phase and view the issue of ” Jihadic obligation” from an angle of Islam and know your responsibilities. You should not shun the committed Mujhaideen of the stronghold of truth. Rather help them with your pen, tongue and any other means.

God forbid, if any one comes under the influence of the propaganda of the enemy and turns his back to Mujahideen by seeking one justification or another and incline to the friends of the non-believers, they will surely face this Divine warning of punishment in this world and the world to come. The Almighty Allah says:

“And incline not toward the wrongdoers, lest you get touched by the Fire. You have no protectors besides Allah, nor you would then be helped.” (Surah: 11, Verse: 113)

I assure the Mujahid people, particularly, the Mujahid brothers of the strongholds that praise be to Allah, the Almighty that the ranks and files of the Islamic Emirate are ready for the struggle as in the past, with a spirit of high determination, strong faith, unity and brotherhood. I give you the good news that if we remain as true believers, the final victory  is ours. No power in the world will block our way of success. Allah, the Almighty says:

“So do not become weak and do not despair. You shall be the upper ones if you are believers” (Surah: 3, Verse: 139)

My advice to the Mujahideen brothers is that: make your intentions pure and selfless; have your envision not to gain material wealth, high slots, war spoils and fame but to obtain the pleasure of Allah. Jihad is a religious worship and an obligation. Do not consider yourself above any other Muslim because of your Jihad, nor pester them that you are doing them a favor. Know that the main aim of our Jihad is establishment of an Islamic system. Protection of the religion, life property, mind and honor of Muslims is among responsibilities of the Islamic system. Don’t perpetrate anything in terms of actions and words that pose threat to the said values of the Muslims. Try not to harass Muslims during your Jihad; implement your Jihadic activities with utmost care; don’t cause harm to places of public benefits like hospitals, seminaries, schools, bridges, water and other public benefits installations but, conversely, protect them; pave the way for religious and modern education of the emerging generation in all areas, particularly, in areas under your control; strictly desist from harassment of the countrymen and remember this saying of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) that “whoever straitens a place of residence of a believer or commits robbery or harass him, his Jihad is futile”

To end, I urge the wealthy and well-to-do individuals not to forget your poor and miserable Muslim brothers and sisters in these days and nights of Eid and help orphans, widows and handicapped, prisoners and poor families according to your capacity.

I entrust you to the custody of Allah, the Almighty and pray that next Eids have us in an atmosphere of Islamic sovereignty and complete independence.

peace be on you all.

Sheikh-ul-Hadith,  Maulawi Habatullah Akhundzada

Leader and Amir-ul-momineen of the Islamic Emirate
