Islamic Emirate: The Kabul Regime’s Battle Plan… Propagating Lies and Hearsay

Post via Islamic Emirate

March 30th 2017

Sangin district – located in Helmand province – is a historical and strategic axis that the British, then Americans and finally the regime spent countless lives to protect. Yet despite their many endeavors this blessed land finally fell into the hands of the Mujahideen last week and is now fully under their control. The regime, rather than admit their unmistakable defeat, has instead chosen to bury its head in the sand and make outlandish claims that no reasonable person can grasp.

The media, local populace and even members of the regime’s Parliament have all admitted that the regime has lost all control of the district center and outlying areas. However, Dawlat Waziri – the obstinate and inexorable spokesperson of the Defense Ministry – has chosen to simply brush the truth aside and instead painted the regime rout as a tactical withdrawal from the ‘center to another area’.

Waziri also ignored the fact that the Mujahideen captured larges caches of heavy and light weaponry following the regime’s hasty retreat and which have been extensively shown in video reports. Similarly he ignored the burned out shops and houses of in the district center when American and regime forces indiscriminately bombed the center following the troop withdrawal. This bombing caused millions of worth financial losses to local traders.

Waziri paints his rout has a ‘tactical withdrawal’ despite video reports of government officials and forces in Lashkar Gah stating that the Taliban captured all of Sangin district and the government forces retreated into Lashkar Gah.

Waziri also feigns oblivion to his top security official’s – Jabbar Qahraman – who has openly admitted his defeat at Sangin district and has warned that unless recaptured, the fall of Sangin will be a bigger blow than the fall of the provincial capital, Lashkar Gah.

At all events, its seems that after having failed to ebb the tide of Mujahideen victories the regime, and particularly its official spokesmen have adopted a new strategy of burying their heads in the sand and simply denying any military losses. When countered with evidential support to the contrary, they openly threaten the media and cow them into accepting the official narrative.

Only time will tell if this novel method of burying one’s head in the sand will pay dividends for the regime or only accelerate its imminent collapse.

Yemeni family to Trump: why are US drones trying to kill us? (Reprieve)

Meqdad Tuaiman (credit: National Organization for Drone Victims)

A family in Yemen is concerned that US drones are trying to assassinate them without charge or trial, international human rights group Reprieve has found.

The Tuaiman family from Ma’rib, Yemen, claim they now live under daily drone flights since President Trump took office. Covert drone strikes under the Obama administration already killed three members of their family.

Trump’s debut raid on the Yemeni village of Yakla, which killed at least 23 civilians, appears to have signalled the start of a more aggressive campaign of strikes across the country.

The Tuaimans are concerned that they are next in line for assassination, under an expanded, Trump-era drone program.

During the Obama Presidency, in 2015, Muhammed Tuaiman was killed by a US drone strike, aged just 13. His father, Salah, and older brother Jalal (17), were killed by another US drone strike in 2011. Injured in that strike was Ezzaldeen Tuaiman, then aged 14.

Ezzaldeen, now 20, still runs and hides whenever he hears a drone, according to his older brother Meqdad Tuaiman. Meqdad is employed as security for the US-allied Hadi Government.

The family are calling on the Yemeni and US governments to reveal any allegations against them. However, they are yet to receive any information on why they are being targeted.

Far from combating terrorism, the family say Trump’s policy could be a recruiting sergeant for militants.

Commenting, Kate Higham – Head of the Assassinations Project at Reprieve – said:

“It is a grave injustice that civilians in Yemen now live under heightened fear of being blown up by US drones, without charge or trial. No one has presented any evidence against the Tuaiman family who have already lost three members, including a 13-year-old, to US drone strikes. This family, and many more across the Middle East, are terrified by President Trump’s mounting civilian casualties and worry that they will be next in line for assassination. President Trump must urgently review the entire targeting program, and investigate the huge numbers of civilian deaths caused so far.”

Islamic Emirate: What did the Afghans gain from the U.S. Strategic Partnership Agreement?

Post via Islamic Emirate

29th March 2017

Fresh developments and events compelled even those diehard U.S. supporters – who not long ago labelled the Security Agreement with America as a golden opportunity – to admit that this Agreement has failed to secure any strategic advantage for Afghanistan.

Following the recent Pakistani bombardment of Afghanistan’s territory in Kunar province, Kabul-based media outlets have held numerous discussions where these once erstwhile supporters of the U.S. have stated that America has failed in its guarantee to safeguard Afghanistan’s territorial sovereignty in cases of outside threats. Under the Strategic Partnership Agreement, in case of an outside threat to Afghanistan, the U.S. is required to consult with the Kabul administration and take necessary steps from the protection of its territory.

The Islamic Emirate stated at the time and has consistently reiterated that the U.S. has no interest in a prosperous, safe and stable Afghanistan. Rather the U.S. only wanted to utilize this Agreement to secure a long-term presence in Afghanistan in order to facilitate the colonization of Afghanistan and use it as a launching pad for threatening the wider region.

Throughout Afghanistan’s history, never has this land faced such multiple threats, or faced such détente as it has under the auspices of the Bilateral Security Agreement. The Islamic Emirate believes that unless and until all foreign occupying forces leave Afghanistan, this country will never achieve its political and economic potential. Instead the flames of this war will extend to the wider region and cause the instability of the entire region.

The resolution of the ongoing conflict demands that Afghanistan’s adjacent countries and regional powers cooperate with the Islamic Emirate so that we can together clean this scourge and propel the region towards a new age of cooperation and prosperity.

Islamic Emirate: Jihadi Triumphs and the Enemy’s Ignominious Rout

Post via Islamic Emirate

March 27th 2017

All across the country, Mujahideen are employing new tactics and stratagems against the foreign occupiers and their regime allies. They have seized the initiative off the enemy and bewildered them with numerous and novel manoeuvres. The enemy tries to conceal their defeats through outlandish claims but even there they often display embarrassing array of mutually contradictory and paradoxical statements, which have eroded the faith of even the staunchest government commanders.

In Kandahar’s Nesh district, the Mujahideen have conquered large enemy bases and depots. They have captured the entire district except for the district center, which is itself under siege. The enemy reinforcements sent several sorties to try and break the siege but faced with stiff resistance they fell back on their headquarters.

The enemy is facing a similar dilemma in Farah’s Farah Rud district. The Mujahideen conquered large swathes of territory. The enemy suffered heavy losses in terms of personnel and equipment. The Herat’s Army Corps made several attempts force a line of communications but failed and ultimately were forced to retreat.

Throughout the winter lull, the Mujahideen have successfully captured and held territories in Kunar, Helmand, Konduz, Baghlan, Faryab, Badghis, Laghman and Khost provinces. The enemy soldiers are either completely under siege or forced to give up their posts and flee.

The successes of the Mujahideen have exemplified that despite the numerous security agreements and the number of foreign forces, or the number of civilians killed by aerial bombardments, they can never be able to dampen the Jihadi ardor of Afghans.

The Mujahideen have shown that they alone dictate the time and place of the fighting, and can infiltrate and attack the seemingly impregnable centers of enemy operations.

The regime has lost all will to fight. They are unable to even defend their bases in the heart of Kabul. They have abandoned all the rural areas to the Mujahideen and hope to hold onto to the provincial centers alone. Yet daily hundreds of enemy forces either surrender to the Mujahideen or desert their ranks and soon this face-saving facade will be all but over.

Islamic Emirate: Phony Intelligence Efforts of the Kabul Administration

Post via Islamic Emirate

March 26th 2017

Given the moribund Kabul Administration is failure and frustration on military and political fronts, it has resorted to bringing about fabricated and fake reports about leaders of the Islamic Emirate and plotting conspiracies in various forms. Recently, it has published a fake audio tape ascribed to the esteemed Mullah Abdul-Manan, the Islamic Emirate’s Mujahid and brave governor of Helmand province, while last February they published a fake letter in his name. Through these efforts, they have made failed attempts to ostensibly show differences among the leadership and other senior members of the Islamic Emirate.

As mentioned in our weekly comments at that time that this was an espionage game which had no reality. Contrarily, it will help alert all the members of the Islamic Emirate to pay attention to overt and covert conspiracies of the enemy and will result into further boosting unity and strengthening ranks and files of the Islamic Emirate.

( وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ)(صدق الله العظیم) (آل عمران، آیة ۵۴)

(Our) readers know that the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of the stooge Kabul Administration announced a few days ago that Taliban had carried out 23,000 attacks in the past Hijri solar year, showing a great spike in attacks as compared to previous years. In fact, the enemy is anxious because of these heroic assaults and does not know how to react? Now, they have come with this stratagem to boost morale of their soldiers with such lies and intelligence conspiracies and conceal their failure. But, they do not realize that their lies are being exposed day in and day out and they are losing their credibility in the eyes of the people.

Even this Administration is unlawful according to the Constitution which has been crafted by the West and foisted on them. This Administration which has been formed by John Kerry as a two-headed Administration in order to pander to the interests of America, may have received a new espionage project from the invaders and that is why, they are resorting to such deplorable efforts. How does this Administration have the face to speak of differences among the ranks of the Islamic Emirate while they do not agree even on the appointment of a single officer among themselves and eagerly stare at the pockets of the invaders for provision of fuels for their vehicles?

War is not won simply by lies nor could our people and Mujahideen be deceived by such hollowed games. We would like to tell the invaders and the puppets, don’t be like a sinking person clinging to every straw. Afghanistan is a home of the Afghans. Establishment of an Islamic system on the basis of their faith and independence of the country is their legitimate and accepted right. Leave the Afghans to decide their fate as per their beliefs and to begin a peaceful life.

Islamic Emirate: The Strategic Victory of Sangin

Post via Islamic Emirate

March 25th 2017

The armies of the Islamic Emirate have traversed another milestone by conquering the strategic Sangin district. The district center of Sangin province was under an intense month-long siege. The enemy, despite foreign air power, failed to parry the blows of the Mujahideen and finally, two days ago vacated this bastion to the Mujahideen.

The Islamic Emirate’s spokesman – Qari Yusuf Ahmadi – confirmed that the besieged regime soldiers at Sangin were flown off the district center and then the Americans bombed the district center and the adjoining Police headquarters however the bombing caused minor damage to the heavy equipment left behind by the enemy which subsequently all fell into Mujahideen hands.

The outlying areas of Sangin province have for a long time been under the control of Islamic Emirate soldiers. The district market was itself heavy contested with the area changing hands several times over the last two years. Last month the Mujahideen attacked all three areas and seized the market thus depriving the regime soldiers from their last contact with the district populace and tightened the noose around the enemy.

At the insistence of the regime, the Americans heavily bombed Sangin bazaar and caused widespread financial loss to the stakeholders as well as causing death and injury to 39 civilians, mostly women and children. The following night the enemy took no respite and again bombed the district, this time killing and injuring 15 more civilians.

The enemy utilized aerial bombardments, commando raids, and indiscriminate artillery shelling to force the Mujahideen to retreat and break its encirclement. Having failed in their attempts the enemy knew its objective of maintaining a presence in the district was a forlorn hope and abandoned the district to the Taliban.

Sangin is both a strategic and symbolic district for both sides. The British – who were initially allocated Helmand province – fought tooth and nail to defend this district and admit to having lost over a hundred soldiers in this district. For the Islamic Emirate the victory of Sangin symbolizes the unwavering spirit of the uprising against invaders and makes them the unchallenged masters of northern Helmand. With this important victory, the Mujahideen have opened up operational lines between Kandahar, Helmand and Uruzgan provinces and can throw its brunt at a time and place of its choosing.

Afghanistan: Stance of the Islamic Emirate Regarding Real Peace

Post via Islamic Emirate

As frequently emphasized in formal statements, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan wants real solution to the Afghan issue. The establishment of the Political Office in the structure of the Islamic Emirate conveys to the Afghan people and the world that the Islamic Emirate does not wage fighting for the sake of fighting. Rather it has some sacred objectives in front, i.e. independence of the country and establishment of an Islamic system. Protection of our country and beliefs are our legitimate right as per any law of the world and we are ready to defend from them on the table as well as in the battlefield. That is why the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has appointed some of the veteran and experienced diplomats of the Emirate in the Political Office. In our view, to achieve the above mentioned objectives without bloodshed is the best solution.

On political front, the Political Office of the Islamic Emirate is the only authorized entity of the Islamic Emirate striving for a political solution of the Afghan issue as per the instructions of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate. The purpose of the existence of the Political Office in Doha is not to give any pretext to the invading countries and other concerned sides in Afghanistan to say that they wanted peaceful solution of the Afghan issue but the address of the Taliban was unknown.

The factors of continuation of occupation and the current tragedy in the country are known to everyone. Similarly, the obstacles in the way of peace are also not hidden from anyone. Now, it is the responsibility of the concerned sides of the Afghan issue to remove major obstacles in the way of Afghan imbroglio and create suitable environment for a peaceful solution.

Fighting is not our choice. It is our necessity. The Islamic Emirate is making efforts for real peace and stability in the beloved country more than anyone else but if someone is nurturing for showdown of muscles; view peace as nothing more than a project to deceive people and lack any strategy for peace then they should realize that every member of the Islamic Emirate has strong faith and un-fatigable determination. They have before themselves sacred and lofty objectives for which they are ever ready to lay down their lives.

The recent living history of the past four decades of our country has proven once again that anyone who has opted for the use of force against the Afghan Muslim and Mujahid nation has ultimately faced defeat and failure and compelled to kowtow before the will of the (Afghan) people. In this lies a lesson for all.

US military review finds no mistakes in Trump’s Yemen raid: Reprieve comment

Children outside one of the homes that was damaged during the US raid in al-Bayda governorate in central Yemen against AQAP on January 29, 2017. At least 14 civilians, including 9 children, were killed during the raid, and at least 20 homes damaged, witnesses said.

Thurs March 9th, 2017

A top American military commander today announced that he has completed an internal review of Donald Trump’s first military raid – an operation in Yakla, Yemen, that killed a Navy SEAL and up to 23 Yemenis – and concluded there were no lapses in judgment surrounding the operation.

The head of U.S. Central Command, Gen. Joseph Votel, also told the Senate Armed Services Committee that a separate investigation into civilian casualties found that between four and 12 innocent people were killed.

This is despite the fact that independent investigations (by Reprieve and others) show ten children died in the raid – including two babies and eight children 12 years and under – in addition to an 80 year old tribal elder and several women.

General Votel said he sees no need for additional investigations.

Commenting, Reprieve attorney Jennifer Gibson, who represents some of the families of those killed in the raid, said:

“Eight Yemeni children lost their lives to President Trump’s botched midnight raid on their village, and today their families were delivered another blow: President Trump’s government has conducted a secret, internal review and determined they don’t count as innocents.

“A secret, internal review that contradicts eyewitness accounts, re-classifies innocent children as combatants, and underestimates the number of dead is simply not good enough. Both the American and Yemeni bereaved families deserve more. They deserve to have their children counted among the dozens of innocents harmed. They deserve to know why their own eyewitness accounts have been discarded. And they deserve an apology.

“We urgently need an independent, transparent and full scale public investigation into just who was killed and what the decision-making process was that authorized such a mission. If this really was a recklessly planned catastrophe of a mission, as independent reports and the eyewitness accounts from Yakla suggest, then we must do everything in our power to make sure such mistakes don’t happen again.

“Only then can we begin to repair the damage done, and start a real conversation about how to make the US safer.”

Islamic Emirate: 24 Hours and 4 Atrocities

Post via Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

Over the past 24 hours the regime and its foreign allies have killed and injured dozens of civilians, destroyed numerous homes, and caused heavy financial losses. These crimes occurred in Zabul, Wardak, Takhar and Farah provinces.

The foreign occupiers bombed Malikhel province – located in Zabul provinces, Arghandab district, adjacent to Algaey bazaar – and caused civilian casualties. Specifically the bombardment killed two women and 9 men, and injured two innocent children.

Similarly the enemy killed three hunters on a mountainside in the Kanjaghtu mountain – located in Wardak province’s Chak district in Arabano area. Presumably the hunters were mistaken for fighters or perhaps were used as target practice.

In the Qamguzar area, located in Takhar’s Darqad district, an airstrike killed five civilians including two children and injuring another 7 civilians. The strike also damaged nearby houses.

In Farah province, in the district of Farah Rud, regime artillery bombarded Ghatt Kilai – located close to district centre . This blind bombardment killed 15 civilians and injured another 23 innocent civilians.

In accordance with its now established rules the regime forces and their foreign allies regularly target civilian personnel and infrastructure as a form of deterrent and collective punishment for supporting the Mujahideen. Often civilians are mercilessly targeted and killed in their shops, farms and even mosques prostrating to their Lord. Even more provocative are the subsequent claims of the regime spokesmen labeling the fallen victims as ‘terrorists’ in their regularly published statements.

The death of 66 civilians in the span of 24 hours is despicable and a clear war crime. Human Rights organizations, the media and civil activists should forcibly condemn these atrocities and bring its perpetrators to account.

The Islamic Emirate – as a safeguarding force of the nation – has always avenged the blood of our innocent fallen countrymen, and it is hoped that it shall exact revenge upon the invaders and their trained mercenary hirelings for the innocent blood of the above crime against the vulnerable women and children of this poor nation.
