Statement of Islamic Emirate concerning Security for Urgent Humanitarian Relief Work

4th March 2017

Since a large number of our countrymen were killed, their homes wrecked and faced varying hardships in this harsh winter due to recent heavy rainfall and avalanches in many areas of our beloved homeland.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls on the country’s businessmen, international NGOs, countries and the United Nations to deliver urgent aid to affected areas of Afghanistan on Islamic and humanitarian grounds. Similarly the leader of Islamic Emirate orders it’s Mujahideen throughout the country to provide necessary security to relief workers so they can deliver their aid with reassurance.
