HELMAND, Mar. 15 – Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate launched coordinated attacks at 11:00 pm last night on a clinic, school and 5 other compounds being used as military posts by hireling troops after Khan-e-Sheen district was conquered a few months back.
The brief attack resulted in the enemy fleeing towards the battalion base in the desert, leaving behind 6 corpses and 2 burning APC wreckages whereas 4 APCs, a pickup truck, 2 Dshk heavy machine guns, 2 PKM machine guns, 10 AK rifles, 3 mortar tubes, 4 NVGs and a sizable amount of ammunition and equipment seized and the entire area cleared from the enemy.
It is said that 2 Mujahideen were also injured in the operation.
