KUNAR, Mar. 15 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized a military post belonging to the puppet army in Asmar district of eastern Kunar late yesterday night amid an offensive aimed at the enemy installations in which 8 enemy soldiers were killed, according to Al-Emarah News reports.
A further 8 were killed when Mujahideen conducted attacks on a number of the enemy posts in the area.
Similarly, Mujahideen fighters seized from the enemy possession a rocket propelled-grenade, 1 PK (a heavy antitank machine gun) 8 RPG rounds, 1 night vision binocular and a good deal of ammo and military equipment.
Meantime, at least 5 enemy soldiers were killed in the area when a roadside bombing ripped up the tank they were riding in.
On Monday, a roadside bombing left a number of the enemy dead and wounded when it ripped into the enemy while doing a foot patrol in Marawara district of Kunar province.
