HELMAND, Jan. 15 – Officials reporting from southern Helmand province say that for the past 2 days Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate have been conducting a large scale operation against enemy positions in Gerishk district’s De Adam Khan region.

Mujahideen managed to clear the entire region all the way up to Bari area near Gerishk district bazaar, forcing the cowardly enemy to flee after inflicting heavy losses.

5 rifles and a sizable amount of other equipment was also seized from the enemy last night.

The mentioned region is the most strategic area of Gerishk district and is now under the compete control of Mujahideen.
