HELMAND, Dec. 07 – At around 07:00 pm last night amid the ongoing annual Azm operation, Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate in Qala Naw region, peripheries of Khan-e-Sheen district, launched coordinated attacks on 3 enemy check posts.

The operation in which heavy and light weapons were used lasted for about 2 hours as a result all three posts were overrun, forcing the cowardly enemy to leave behind the corpses of 20 comrades as they fled the area.

4 enemy RPG launchers with 15 rounds, 4 PKM machine guns, 16 rifles, 2 vehicles, 10000 small arms rounds and sizable amount of other equipment was seized whereas the entire area  also fell under the complete control of Mujahideen.

It is said that 2 Mujahideen were also injured in the operation and 2 others rewarded martyrdom (may Allah accept them).
