The following is a link to a report “Hear our Screams: Making a case for Rohingya genocide” which has been co-authored by Protect the Rohingya3, a South African based awareness organisation that advocates for the rights of the Rohingya, and the Muslim Lawyers Association which is a non-profit making body committed towards creating a community free of injustices as prescribed by Islam.
Abstract
“This report represents a well-documented scream for help. It aims to warn and informs the international community of the imminent threat of genocide on the Rohingya people of Myanmar. It further strives to formulate a plea for immediate international action. The report contains a map of the areas where the violence has been concentrated including a time line of the recent violence, and an overview of where the violence stems from. This is followed by an exposition of the legal instruments pertaining to genocide within the framework of international law and a detailed presentation of the brutal conditions under which the Rohingya are forced to live. This report is based on locally sourced information and numerous reports by human rights organisations and articles.”
