Afghanistan: Taliban condemn killing of 14 civilians in Balkh, warn to be vigilant of “enemy plots”

Remarks of spokesman of Islamic Emirate regarding killing of 14 civilians in Balkh

Reports from Balkh province’s Zari district say that unknown gunmen killed 14 unarmed civilians earlier today.

We strongly condemn this incident. Such acts whether carried out due to personal animosity or by intelligence circles must be condemned. These acts are being perpetrated to breed fault lines, intolerance and discrimination amongst difference nations.

We call on our nation to be vigilant of all enemy plots, not be influenced by mere propaganda and to discern the real culprits of ailments and take a strong stand against them.

The Islamic Emirate will exert full efforts in finding the perpetrators of this crime and hand them over to Shariah law.

Zabihullah Mujahid

Spokesman of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

    • Thank-you for your comment… Reham Khan has some serious questions to answer and so do PTI who have done a U turn on meritocracy and family politics. Regardless of whether or not there was domestic violence (which her husband denies and she has provided no proof to date) there are questions to answer and she keeps on misinforming so no one knows what to believe! I am not a journalist, I am a researcher and I report what I find good and bad. I am not Pakistani media that be controlled or bribed!
