Paramilitary soldiers stand guard at the crime scene.– DawnNews

A second claim of responsibility for the killing of 7 policemen guarding polio workers in Karachi on Wednesday was sent to the media by Pakistan Tehreek e-Taliban (TTP). Dawn News reported,

“DIG West Feroz Shah told DawnNews that eight gunmen riding four motorcycles carried out the killings in two separate attacks in the neighbourhood.

‘The gunmen first opened fire on three policemen in the streets of Orangi Town, killing them all,’ he said, adding: ‘Later they shot dead four policemen, who were sitting in a police mobile van” a few streets away.'”

Full story can be read on following link,

TTP statement reads,

“Pakistan Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan’s sharp shooter squad belonging to STF successfully carried out an attack on 20 April in Karachi killing 7 police personnel. Mujahideen commandos managed to dissappear successfully. Claims by the government of their arrest are lies. Note: due to no confirmation, TTP’s central media delayed acceptance of responsibility. Now contact has been made with Karachi’s STF command and by the grace of Allah the Mujahideen are safe and sound.”

Muhammad Khurasani

Central spokesperson Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan

——————————-

An earlier claim of responsibility was made by Ehsanullah Ehsan the spokesperson for another Taliban group Tehreek- e -Taliban Jamaat ul Arar (TTPJA) and can be read here,

https://activist1.wordpress.com/2016/04/21/pakistan-ttp-ja-claim-responsibility-for-killing-7-policemen-guarding-polio-teams/

The vaccination programme has been beset by problems with polio workers accused of spying and being part of a western plot to sterilize children. Security concerns grew following CIA attempts to use the cover of a fake hepatitis vaccination campaign to try to obtain DNA samples from Osama bin Laden later killed in his compound by US Navy Seals.

No health workers were harmed in this incident though they remain vulnerable to attack and on the hit list of some insurgent groups.

Islamic Emirate statement: Kabul attack, photos of civilian casualties are fake

kbul-blast

Post via Islamic Emirate

On April the 19th 2016, Taliban forces carried out a self-sacrificial operation on the Directorate 10 building – associated with the Afghan intelligence agency NDS – housing members of the elite ‘Directorate of Security for Dignitaries’.

The powerful attack using a truck bomb followed by 2 member group opening fire on the remaining personnel inside resulted in death and injuries to hundreds of elite intelligence unit members however the enemy tried to portray the attack as having mainly caused casualties to civilians despite the fact that the attack only destroyed the targeted building from a direction which would have made the likelihood of causing mass civilian losses impossible.

To supposedly prove mass destruction and civilian losses, the enemy created an uproar and immediately began circulating photos of the ‘incident’ on social media and news websites. This propaganda effort has backfired thanks to Google website and its reverse image search capabilities as shall be shown in the upcoming video and photos.

The Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, condemned the use of fake photos and said:

“The fact that some so-called human right organizations and humanitarians only selectively condemn Mujahideen attacks while covering up blatant atrocities committed by the Americans and their lackeys, clearly shows that using such incidents is not due to any humanitarian cause rather they are exploited as high-end propaganda material which shall never be paid any heed to by the Islamic Emirate.”

This was followed by the Commission for Cultural Affairs of the Islamic Emirate (Taliban) issuing a notice to media outlets and warning about the consequences of publishing biased and unverified reports. The statement read:

“Such actions not only bring about historic disrepute, rather they will also compel the Jihadi side to safeguard its status and force their hand in neutralizing propaganda instruments working for enemy interests.”

“In this regard the committees for protecting journalists and media must also encourage media outlets to observe ethics of journalism and maintain impartiality to avoid inflaming sentiments.”

Yemen: Family of Drone Victims Files FOIA Lawsuit Demanding Answers from U.S. Government (Reprieve statement)

imgres

A Yemeni soldier looks at the graffiti of U.S. drone strike painted on a wall as a protest against the drone strikes, in Sanaa, Yemen, on Dec. 21, 2013

(via Xinhua)

A Yemeni man who lost two civilian relatives to a U.S. drone strike in August 2012 has today filed a federal lawsuit in Washington DC under the Freedom of Information Act, demanding information about the strike that took their lives.

Faisal bin ali Jaber, an environmental engineer from Sanaa, lost his brother-in-law Salem and his nephew Waleed in the strike. Salem was an anti-extremist imam and father of seven, who had preached against al Qaeda just days before he was killed. Waleed was a 26 year old police officer with a wife and small baby.

According to leaked intelligence, U.S. officials knew they had killed civilians shortly after the strike. In July 2014, Faisal’s family were offered a bag containing $100,000 in sequentially-marked US dollar bills at a meeting with the Yemeni National Security Bureau (NSB). The NSB official who had requested the meeting told a family representative that the money came from the US and that he had been asked to pass it along.

To date, the Obama Administration has refused to acknowledge its involvement in the strike — in stark contrast to the President’s apology following a drone strike in January 2015 that killed an American, Warren Weinstein, and an Italian, Giovanni Lo Porto. Having failed to elicit any explanation from the U.S. Government, Faisal and Guardian reporter Ed Pilkington filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with several U.S. agencies seeking any information about the strike.  To date, the agencies have refused to issue a substantive response to the requests, in violation of the law’s requirement that they respond within 20 days.

This lawsuit follows numerous attempts to obtain an official acknowledgement of the strike, including:

  • November 2014: Faisal traveled 7,000 miles to Washington DC, where he met several members of Congress and at least one White House official. No-one from the Government would admit that the strike even happened.
  • June 2015: Faisal filed a lawsuit against President Obama, and the former heads of the Department of Defense and CIA, asking for a declaration that the strike was unlawful. The Government sought to get the case dismissed.
  • October 2015: Faisal offered to drop the case in exchange for an official apology and a promise to investigate the circumstances that led to the strike. The Government never responded to Faisal’s offer.
  • Last week: Faisal’s Reprieve lawyers wrote to the President asking him to meet with Faisal during Faisal’s trip to New York to speak at the Whitney Museum, where the strike on his family is featured in Laura Poitras’ installation Astro Noise. The President has not replied.

Faisal bin Ali Jaber said: “A secret bag of money from the U.S. Government is not enough.  We wish to know why our innocent loved ones were killed, no less so than the families of Mr Weinstein and Mr Lo Porto.”

Joe Pace, Reprieve US attorney for Faisal, said: “It is disgraceful that Faisal has had to take the United States to court twice to find out why his innocent loved ones were slaughtered by a US drone.  We cannot claim to be moral leaders, yet brush these sorts of travesties under the rug. President Obama was quick to apologize and promise an investigation when a drone strike killed two Westerners in Pakistan last year.  Faisal has only asked that he be accorded the same consideration, nothing more.”

Islamic Emirate statement: Claims of civilian casualties in yesterday’s attack is part of enemy propaganda

 CgdPmCPW4AEH5Ud

Donating blood for the victims of the blast (Image via Bashir Ahmad Gwakh)

Post via Islamic Emirate

3 martyrdom seekers of Islamic Emirate targeted the Directorate 10 building of the notorious intelligence agency (NDS) and its security belt.

The Directorate 10 building – due to its security importance – was built in an area with no adjacent civilian buildings or movement. Secondly the target of the attack was the stated building and the attack took place from a direction where there was no chance of civilian entrance while the entire area was also part of the intelligence agency. The attack only destroyed the targeted building, killing the workers of this department inside their rooms, the pictures of which were later published online. However due to the force of the explosion, windows of buildings at a far distance were also shattered – naturally injuring people albeit lightly, a situation which is unfortunate.

Following the incident, the enemy organs circulated some pictures which were either not of the event or in some cases not even from Afghanistan.

The Kabul security apparatus – especially its notoriously brutal intelligence agency – is our prime target after the foreign invaders. Yesterday the Mujahideen managed to eliminate their target rather successfully and handed quite a justifiably warranted punishment to the savage operatives based inside.

The enemy now seeks to hide its losses by claiming a high civilian casualty toll hence in a state of panic, they immediately began circulating photos of civilian casualties from Iraq and Syria. This in itself is proof that there was no civilian casualties yesterday and if there were, surely they would have published many pictures.

Civilians are continuously being killed and targeted by the Americans and their lackeys on a daily basis, a great example of which is the women and children killed by a joint US-Afghan raid in Logar province’s Kharwar district a few days earlier.

The fact that some so-called human right organizations and humanitarians only selectively condemn Mujahideen attacks while covering up blatant atrocities committed by the Americans and their lackeys, clearly shows that using such incidents is not due to any humanitarian cause rather they are exploited as high-end propaganda material which shall never be paid any heed to by the Islamic Emirate.

Kashmir: High Court orders SP Ghulam Jeelani to facilitate meeting between legal counsel and Handwari minor girl

Case over minor girl (who cannot be identified) and her family a battle for human rights

(Image, Deviant Art)

Press release Jammu Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society (JKCCS)

20 April 2016

Today, the ninth day of the illegal police custody of the Handwara minor girl, the Jammu and Kashmir High Court heard the Habaes Corpus petition for the immediate release of the girl, father and aunt.

The High Court observed that a PIL had been filed by the Bar Association seeking similar relief and therefore directed that the Habeas Corpus petition be clubbed with the PIL that is next listed for 26 April 2016. But, the court also directed that SP, Handwara [Ghulam Jeelani Wani] facilitate a meeting between the mother and her lawyers and the minor girl, and a report of the compliance of this order be filed before the Division Bench hearing the PIL. The Police also filed a status report before the court where they have taken the position that the minor girl and father had sought police protection. No mention is made of the video that was recorded and circulated while the minor girl was in police custody. The police submissions are misrepresentations to cover up the illegal police custody and the other illegal actions of the police [particularly SP Ghulam Jeelani] such as the recording and circulation of the video, the abuse and exploitation of the girl in custody, forcible signatures taken on documents seeking police protection, and the statement of the minor girl being recorded before the magistrate under duress.

The consequence of todays proceedings are six more days of illegal police custody for the Handwara minor girl. But, the direction to SP Ghulam Jeelani Wani will ensure that for the first time since being detained the minor girl and family will have unhindered access to legal counsel.

In the meantime, JKCCS has been contacted by Ms. Nayeema Mehjoor, Chairperson, State Commission for Women, who has assured that she will do the needful for the release and relocation, if necessary, of the minor girl and family.

Spokesperson,

JKCCS

Islamic Emirate: Notice to all media chiefs and media protection committees in Afghanistan

In-Afghanistan-a-boost-in-the-media-----but-more-journalists-at-risk-672x372

Islamic Emirate are questioning the independence of Afghan media

(Image via Ilias Alami)

Post via Islamic Emirate

The Islamic Emirate recognizes the status and importance of the media in society. Media is a most effective tool for reforming, informing and protecting the higher interests of society.

You are all aware that our homeland has been under the brutal American occupation for the past 14 years. The entire country is engulfed in war and Mujahideen are carrying the heaviest share of jihad and struggle of the Afghan Muslim nation on their shoulders.

Seeking freedom and salvation from occupation is the responsibility of every Afghan and is not limited to a specific class or a particular side.

Freeing the country from the claws of America and establishing a robust, corruption-free Islamic government in accordance with the beliefs and true convictions of the Muslim people of this nation is our shared religious and national duty.

That the Mujahideen are carrying out Jihad, willingly sacrificing life and property while forgoing all luxuries of life in the path of Allah. Therefore it would not be fair for the media working in our country to stand in opposition to the only shielding force of our nation and simultaneously confusing the minds of people to side with the invading belligerents.

For this reason the Islamic Emirate deems it necessary to once again remind all media outlets operating inside the country to refrain from biased reporting in their disseminations. Avoid holding a negative attitude towards the ongoing sacred Jihad which is without a doubt our religious obligation. Stop scandalous libels against the Mujahideen during battles and end provocative and un-Islamic advertising against the ongoing resistance. If for varying reasons you are unable to directly support the Mujahideen, the least you could do is not stand in their opposition or distribute biased reports, news and programs in favor of the enemy.

Such actions not only bring about historic disrepute, rather they will also compel the Jihadi side to safeguard its status and force their hand in neutralizing propaganda instruments working for enemy interests.

Unfortunately – in the recent advances and successful operations by Mujahideen in the northern provinces like Kunduz, Badakhshan, Baghlan, Saripul and similarly Kabul and other areas – the media has not only failed in informing the nation about the truth, rather on the contrary they have exerted efforts to censor these realities and have come to consider high-end propaganda against Mujahideen as their duty. They have not given coverage and in some cases altogether avoided reports as well as verification and rejection statements provided by the spokespersons of Islamic Emirate and seemingly such a policy is not tolerable for anyone.

We once again urge all media outlets operating inside the country to adopt impartiality. Any news being published through the mouth of the enemy must prior be shared with the spokesmen of Islamic Emirate and their opinions requested. Refrain from publishing fabricated and baseless reports and give importance to sustaining healthy contacts with the Mujahideen.

In this regard the committees for protecting journalists and media must also encourage media outlets to observe ethics of journalism and maintain impartiality to avoid inflaming sentiments.

Urgent Press Release:

20 April 2016

Since last 3 days, JKCCS ( Jammu Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society) has been approaching the Inspector General (IG) of JK Police, Javed Geelani for a meeting in connection with the illegal detention of the minor girl and her family. Yesterday evening the Handwara minor girl spoke to JKCCS team on phone. Islamic Emirate statement: Kabul martyr attack final report

چاودنه

Post via Islamic Emirate

The Kabul martyrdom attack came to an end with the death and injury of hundreds of intelligence agency workers and operatives.

Amid the ongoing ‘Omari’ operation launched by the Islamic Emirate, a 3-member unit from the martyrdom battalion carried out a precision attack on 10th Directorate NDS building located in the most secure area of Kabul city close to the Presidential Palace and Ministry of Defense.

Initiation

At around 09:00 am local time today, a truck packed with explosives was detonated at the gate of 10th directorate building, destroying a large part of the building and removing all barriers.

Martyrdom seekers

The operation was carried out by 3 martyrdom seekers (Jamaluddin from Maidan Wardak, Sayed Abdul Wali Agha from Kandahar and 3rd who came out of the area alive). Jamaluddin detonated the truck at the gate of the 10th directorate building followed by the 2 remaining Mujahideen rushing inside and engaging the remaining enemy personnel for 5 hours.

Operation Details

The powerful truck bomb destroyed the 10th directorate, adjacent NDS building and all the surrounding defensive perimeter. The two remaining Mujahideen managed to enter the 10th directorate building before moving up to 1st, 2nd and finally 3rd blocks, killing all the NDS workers who somehow survived the initial explosion.

The two later engaged the reinforcement troops that arrived to the scene from inside the building.

Casualties

Based on our verified information, 92 workers, key operatives and security guards including the deputy intelligence chief Fakhri and Abbas Danish nephew of the new chief were killed and over a hundred other intelligence agency workers who had gathered at the building to share information were injured.

Civilian Casualties

Everyone is aware that no civilians are permitted to travel in close proximity to the 10th directorate building of the NDS and neither is this a civilian area. However due to the power of the huge explosion, glass of many far buildings was shattered which caused minor injuries to some people and there was no serious injury reported.

End of Operation

The attack finally came to an end at around 03:00 pm in the afternoon after another Mujahid – Sayed Abdul Wali Agha – was martyred and the third ran out of ammunition however all praise belong to the Lord of the Universe, he managed to safely join up with nearby Mujahideen units.

This Mujahid narrates that he killed 58 intelligence agency operatives including key members all by himself.

Result

This was one of the heaviest blows of the recently launched ‘Omari’ operation sending a strong message to the invaders and their lackeys. The enemy shall be shown no mercy, shall keep facing such precision strikes and key officials shall be eliminated.

This attack once again showed the enemy that with the help of Almighty Allah and complete backing of the nation, the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate are able to strike the most secured areas of the enemy fortress with explosives. The enemy must take an admonitory lesson instead of changing their plans, they must realize the ground realities and stop testing themselves against the valiant Mujahid Afghan nation.

Islamic Emirate: Opening blow of ‘Omari’ broke the enemy’s jaw

u46

Post via Islamic Emirate

By the special benevolence of Almighty Allah, with the announcement of ‘Omari’ Jihadi operations by the leadership of the Islamic Emirate and their execution by the sincere and devoted Mujahidin throughout the country, significant conquests were achieved by Mujahidin in a short span of time and the stooge enemy was left perplexed and embarrassed. The so called defense ministry of the stooge admin formerly warned their mercenary soldiers and other security forces that if they did not resist the Taliban onslaught and begin abandoning their posts, they would face admonitory punishment.

The so called representatives of Baghlan and Kunduz provinces in the parliament explicitly admitted to the media that within two hours, Dand-i-Ghori district of Baghlan province and other surrounding areas were completely captured and retaken by Taliban. Similarly several districts of Kunduz province fell in the matter of hours and Mujahidin are once again fighting on the edges of Kunduz city.

These representatives also disclosed that the national army soldiers are discouraged and demoralized that’s why they evacuated their military posts and surrendered or absconded from the battlefield with the launch of Mujahidin Omari Jihadi operations.

Most areas and strategic points of Qush Tepa district in Jowzjan province fell to the Mujahidin in which all types of weapons and large amount of ammunition was seized. In Bala Buluk district of Farah province and Tor Ghondi district of Herat, significant progress was achieved with tens of Arbaki militiamen surrendering themselves and those resisting doomed to demise.

As expressed in the inaugural statement, ‘Omari’ Jihadi operations “will employ large scale attacks on enemy positions across the country, martyrdom-seeking and tactical attacks against enemy strongholds, and assassination of enemy commanders in urban centers. The present Operation will also employ all means at our disposal to bog the enemy down in a war of attrition that lowers the morale of the foreign invaders and their internal armed militias.

By employing such a multifaceted strategy it is hoped that the foreign enemy will be demoralized and forced to evict our nation.”

It is evident from this military strategy and strong determination of the Islamic Emirate that the Mujahidin have resolved, God-willing, to uproot the stooge enemy and its mercenary forces this year and free the pious Afghan masses from their oppression and brutalities.

Independent analysts say that if ‘Omari’ operations continue at the current pace and in accordance with the announced strategies and as is evident from vast areas already captured in Kunduz, Baghlan and Jowzjan provinces, hopefully the pious and beloved land of Afghanistan will be cleansed from the wicked corrupt stooge regime this year and will also be freed from brutal American mafia alliance which will prove a great tiding and jubilation for the war-stricken but pious and freedom loving people of Afghanistan. Insha-Allah (God-willing)!!!
