Last week target killers were again at work in Karachi in an alleged attempt to silence academic debate. This time the victims were a 40 year old human rights activist named Sabeen Mahmud, shot dead by motorcycle assassins and her mother Mahenaz Mahmud who was seriously injured. Mahmud had bravely opened up her community space at T2F for discussion on the situation in Balochistan inviting a well-known Baloch campaigner Mama Qadeer to participate along with others. As Deutsche Welle recently reported,

“Balochistan, which borders Afghanistan and Iran, is rich in oil, gas, and minerals, yet it remains Pakistan’s poorest province. Rebel groups have waged a separatist insurgency in the province for decades, complaining that the central government in Islamabad and the richer Punjab province unfairly exploit their resources. In 2005, Islamabad reacted to the insurgency by launching a military operation in the province.”

This ongoing situation has led to thousands of “disappeared” persons and alleged human rights abuses by the military with a Human Rights Report (HWR, 2011) calling for Pakistan to end “widespread disappearances of suspected militants and activists by the military, intelligence agencies, and the paramilitary Frontier Corps in the south-western province of Balochistan”.

Sabeen Mahmud offered her facility to Mama Qadeer who led a Long March within Pakistan to highlight the “disappeared” after LUMS a university in Lahore declined to go ahead with hosting a discussion on “Unsilencing Balochistan” after coming under pressure from the government.

As human rights activist Marvi Sirmed stated in DAWN, “Pakistan is defamed because of the murder of Sabeen not because of the seminar on Balochistan,” Silencing Sabeen has had the effect of drawing far greater national and international attention to the issues surrounding the region than Sabeen and Mama Qadeer could have hoped for and sparked protests and condemnation across the country.

There must now be an inquiry into Sabeen’s death however 77% of people polled in Dawn do not feel Sabeen Mahmud’s killers will be brought to justice.

Following the murder of Sabeen, a letter has now emerged allegedly from the Government of the Punjab Higher Education Department dated 27th March to All Vice-Chancellors/Rectors appearing to once again stifle academic freedom. It reads as follows,

Subject.. Anti-Pakistan and Anti-Cultural Research Topics’Studies in Universities of the Punjab

I am directed to refer to the subject and inform that it has been pointed out by various Security Agencies that Research Topics being given to the students in the Universities of the Punjab that are of anti-Pakistan and anti-Cultural in nature.

2. The Competent Authority has taken a serious notice of this situation and desired that the Academia should play a constructive role in nurturing nationalism amongst the youth of this country. It has further been desired that the concerned quarters may be sensitized to avoid incubation of anti-cultural and anti-Pakistan sentiment amongst the students by giving such topics for debate and research.

3 I am further directed to request you to comply with the directions of the Competent Authority in letter and spirit.

First of all how do authorities define what is anti- Pakistan and anti-Cultural? Where are the guidelines? Is this something which will be legally enforced…. is Nationalism to be made a legal requirement within Pakistan? A good researcher always declares any bias and conflict of interest as no research is without some bias for the fact that researchers are human. This can be seen by through textual analysis, which quotes and references are used for example.

Driving a topic underground can stir anger and create a negative effect. Debate is healthy in society and banning a subject often suggests that those doing the banning have something to hide themselves. Being open in discussion can help develop alternative narratives and find solutions to difficult issues. Banning free speech will only result in promoting underground forums where the seeds of resentment can grow, flourish and spread much further afield.

A video posted on Twitter from an account showing links to “Wilayet Tunisia” today showed further evidence that IS is allegedly active in Pakistan. It is not clear when the 2 minute 51 second video set to a nasheed (chants) was made. The tweet read,

There have been a number of defections from the Taliban to IS (known as Wilayat Khorasan, AfPak Province of IS) in recent months. The Islamic Movement Uzbekistan (IMU) which is active in Afghanistan and Pakistan has also now pledged allegiance to al-Baghdadi.

A recent article by Declan Walsh in the New York Times looked at the impact of US drone strikes on Al Qaeda in the region, stating, “the Pakistanis estimate that Al Qaeda has lost 40 loyalists, of all ranks, to American drone strikes in the past six months”. Controversial use of drones (which often incite retaliation attacks) and Pakistan military operation Zarbe-e-Asb have forced militants to relocate to ever more remote valleys or depart the region altogether. Walsh further stated, “that process of attrition has been accelerated by the emergence of the Islamic State, whose arresting brutality and superior propaganda have sucked up funding and recruits.”

Amina Masood Janjua carried away during a peaceful protest for missing persons

On this day a year ago i.e, 28th April 2014 families of missing persons were subjected to intense baton charge. Many persons along with Amina Masood Janjua, chairperson of Defence of Human Rights, were beaten and were detained in the police station. They were released on the orders of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and it was promised that responsible shall be brought to justice. The protest sit-in was called off when a parliamentary secretary of Muslim League Nawaz, Maryam Aurangzeb promised that a meeting of Amina Janjua with Mian Nawaz Sharif shall be arranged within a few days. But alas once again this promised was not fulfilled. Neither the perpetrators of baton charge were charged nor the promise of meeting with prime minister could be realized, nor did either enforced disappeared sons of mothers return home. Amina Masood Janjua expressed while talking to a press conference today.

Remember that before this incident, leaders of Muslim League Nawaz had made similar promises on two different occasions. Amina Masood janjua further stated, “Our prime goal is recovery of our loved ones whereas to punish the officers who were responsible for the torture on mothers, sisters and kids of missing persons is of minor importance to us. Yet to take action against this atrocity is important not just because it was the order of the Prime Minister but also to show that this government is determined to support human rights defenders. It is the result of lack of action on government’s part that a renowned human rights activist Sabeen Mehmood was shot mercilessly. Such kind of tragedies shall keep on occurring in future too if we did not wake up.

Parents may die before they learn what has happened to their children

Amina Janjua further also told that it has been a decade since movement of missing persons is on the roads. Tens of parents of missing persons have left this world along with dreams of return of their forced disappeared children yet menace of enforced disappearance could not be eliminated from this country. She announced that families of missing persons are ready to bear all kinds of pains for the recovery of their loved ones.

She declared that,” We know that our homeland is facing many problems and dangers. During the past one year government has passed laws to legitimize enforced disappearance, constitution was modified but count of missing persons is increasing by the day. We have been waiting with hopeful silence that our enforced disappeared relatives would be recovered because of the impunity provided to the security forces but there is no improvement in the situations. Silence of government is compelling us to once again take our struggle to roads. In a bid to warn government Mrs Janjua said, “Being responsible citizen peaceful protest is our right. We urge the government of Pakistan to solve the missing person issue. We are oppressed yet but ready to offer any kind of sacrifice for our homeland.

In the end she told media persons that count of registered missing person’s cases has increased to 2156 by enlistment of 33 new cases in 2015. Only one person has been recovered in the first quarter while dead bodies of five missing persons were either found or handed over by authorities. She also mentioned that it’s been over a year now that Supreme Court has not fixed a single hearing of missing person case.

Kathmandu Nepal was hit today by an earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale.  A video dated April 25th 2015 (as yet unverified) posted by Shaniya Patak on YouTube appeared to show substantial damage, with multiple collapsed buildings and people digging through the rubble.

Islamabad — “…We will not remain silent,” the message read,  “We owe it to the people of Balochistan.”

“We owe it to the hundreds found in mass graves. We owe it to the thousands of missing people. We owe it to their families. We owe it to ourselves.”

The Democratic Students’ Alliance, an informal student organisation some of whose members are students at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), posted this message on its Facebook page at 7:24pm on Wednesday. The message was posted hours after a talk on the LUMS campus about human rights issues in Balochistan was cancelled allegedly under duress.

The panel discussion titled “Unsilencing Balochistan” was scheduled for Thursday evening and featured, among other speakers, Mama Qadeer, a leader of the Voice of Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP).

The VBMP, which consists of people whose relatives have gone “missing” in Balochistan over the years, has worked for the recovery of Baloch missing persons and justice for the families affected byenforced disappearances.

The enforced disappearances, and discovery of mass graves, are linked with a longstanding conflict between the state and the Baloch people in Pakistan’s western province which has involved an armed insurgency and military operations.

While human rights activists condemn the Pakistani state for using military might to crush Baloch dissenters instead of resolving the grievances of its citizens, the state’s dominant narrative accuses Baloch groups of involvement in a foreign-funded, anti-state separatist movement.

In its message, the students’ alliance also claimed that two men from an intelligence agency entered the office of Ali Khan, the dean of the social science department at LUMS.

The men allegedly showed Khan an order from the agency demanding the talk on Balochistan be cancelled or the organisers will have to face consequences, according to the alliance.

Khan subsequently sent an e-mail to students and staff stating  that the talk was cancelled on the “orders of the government” of Pakistan. “LUMS is committed to working with the government to find a way to allow the university to hold conversations on topics that are sensitive but that need to be debated in an objective and unbiased manner,” he wrote in the email.

After the talk’s cancellation, LUMS students arranged a “Resilencing Balochistan” event in protest. Several students took to the LUMS Discussion Forum and social media to express their outrage.

LUMS students also participated in a whiteboard campaign and posted photos on social media accounts all day on Thursday with the hashtag “LUMS 4 academic freedom“.

Many students posted photos online of them holding whiteboards with messages in favour of freedom of speech, Baloch resistance and academic discussions.

Students also gathered outside the LUMS dining center at 6:30pm on Thursday, the scheduled time of the cancelled talk, for a silent protest against academic censorship, followed by a celebration of Baloch music.

Throughout the day on Thursday, students wore black arm bands and attended classes with a red tape over their mouths in protest.

Aleena Iqtidar an economics student at LUMS, said there can be no elimination of terror when officials walk into education institutions and use “danda” to eliminate academic discussions.

The hashtag #ShameOnLUMS also trended on Twitter during this time with both messages criticising the university for cancelling the event and tweets supporting the cancellation on grounds of patriotism.

Speaking with Pakistan Ink, Eesha Hammad, a political science student at LUMS, said those defending the state institution in this situation have limited themselves to a fascist mentality.

Fatima Ahmed, another student,  said #ShameOnLUMS should be countered with #ThankyouLUMS or #ProudOfLUMS for, according to her, standing up for what is right.

The divisive narratives that played out on Twitter were also noticed by Baloch students at LUMS.

“There is a general chauvinistic narrative that our nation gets in to and we get overly patriotic over certain things,” said Abdul Qadeer Khan, a student in LUMS who is from Zhob, Balochistan.

“I have lived most of my life in Zhob where there haven’t been any such stories and therefore I can’t relate to it as a genuine source,” Abdul Qadeer Khan said. “However, any person who talks about the missing persons goes missing, especially the journalists who report on these events.”

He added that open discussions take place at LUMS on various topics that are not talked about in public, which, he said, is something that differentiates LUMS from other universities.

“I am very happy at my stay here,” he said.

The panel discussion’s list of speakers also included VBMP general secretary Farzana Majeed, director of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan IA Rehman, professor and activist Aasim Sajjad Akhtar and human rights activist Sajjad Changhezi.

The talk was going to be moderated by Rashid Rehman, editor of the Daily Times newspaper.

In 2013, the VBMP had also staged a 2,000-kilometre long march from Quetta to Islamabad on foot to raise the issue of enforced disappearances and human rights abuses in Balochistan.

US drone victims Dr Warren Weinstein and Giovanni Lo Porto (image, Sky)

The White House has just released the following statement on the killing of American hostages Dr Warren Weinstein held by al Qaida since 2011 and Giovanni Lo Porto an Italian national held by al Qaida since 2012. I will follow by arguing why we should question the statement.

Statement by the Press Secretary (White House)

“It is with tremendous sorrow that we recently concluded that a U.S. Government counterterrorism operation in January killed two innocent hostages held by al-Qa’ida.  Our hearts go out to the families of Dr. Warren Weinstein, an American held by al-Qa’ida since 2011, and Giovanni Lo Porto, an Italian national who had been an al-Qa’ida hostage since 2012.  Analysis of all available information has led the Intelligence Community to judge with high confidence that the operation accidentally killed both hostages.  The operation targeted an al-Qa’ida-associated compound, where we had no reason to believe either hostage was present, located in the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan.  No words can fully express our regret over this terrible tragedy.

We also believe two other Americans were recently killed in U.S. Government counterterrorism operations in the same region.  We have concluded that Ahmed Farouq, an American who was an al-Qa’ida leader, was killed in the same operation that resulted in the deaths of Dr. Weinstein and Mr. Lo Porto.  We have also concluded that Adam Gadahn, an American who became a prominent member of al-Qa’ida, was killed in January, likely in a separate U.S. Government counterterrorism operation.  While both Farouq and Gadahn were al-Qa’ida members, neither was specifically targeted, and we did not have information indicating their presence at the sites of these operations.

The President directed that the information being shared today, which was properly classified until now, be declassified and shared with the American people.  He takes full responsibility for these operations and believes it is important to provide the American people with as much information as possible about our counterterrorism operations, particularly when they take the lives of fellow citizens.  The uniquely tragic nature of the operation that resulted in the deaths of two innocent hostages is something we will do our utmost to ensure is not repeated.  To this end, although the operation was lawful and conducted consistent with our counterterrorism policies, we are conducting a thorough independent review to understand fully what happened and how we can prevent this type of tragic incident in the future.

Many within our government spent years attempting to locate and free Dr. Weinstein and Mr. Lo Porto.  The pain of their deaths will remain with us as we rededicate ourselves to adhering to the most exacting standards in doing all we can to protect the American people.”

What are the issues arising from press release?

We should not assume because the White House releases a statement it is automatically correct and truthful… let us not forget the lies of “Tricky Dicky” Richard Nixon in the Watergate scandal of the early 1970s, “I am not a crook” said Nixon on Nov. 17, 1973… and look how that turned out.

It is easy to write off the drone killing of Weinstein and Lo Porto as “collateral damage” in the “fog of war” but where is the independent investigation? Back in January 2014, I became concerned that the US might be trying to drone US hostage, Private Bowe Bergdahl held captive for 5 years after going missing from his base in Afghanistan. I received word from the Taliban that he was still alive and in Pakistan. This is what I wrote at that time after talking with a local journalist who alleged that Bergdahl was almost killed in drone strikes and bombings and gave me the following quote,

“an airstrike was launched to bomb the area where he (Bergdahl) was kept. To kill them all…. His captors died and surprisingly Bowe survived. He ran away but could not track the path to break lose and after 3 to 4 days of wandering in plains and jungle he was caught again by Taliban…. So, he is still there .. bad luck for him. His (alleged) captor was Mullah Sangeen Zadran who was killed in a drone strike around 2 months back.”

I then wrote,

I understand that Bergdahl is being treated humanely as a prisoner of war according to Geneva Convention and was informed by Taliban a few months ago that he is well and in a “safe house”. The question I feel compelled to ask however is, did US intend to take out Bergdahl through a drone strike as they have done with so many others? Let’s face it, his capture remains an embarrassment to the US government and they have repeatedly stated they don’t negotiate with “terrorists”. Droning Bergdahl may be seen by US as a solution to the problem…

Bergdahl is allegedly moved around for safety between groups. activists call on the US to cease drone strikes that are killing Pakistanis and putting an American citizen at risk also. The US which is viewed by many around the world to be a “terrorist state” must surely now drop its hypocrisy and at this crucial time rethink its stance on prisoner exchange.”

Part of my reason for writing this article was to alert the public that I believed Bowe was still alive and was afraid that droning him might be an easy way out for the US to avoid negotiations… it was essential those close to Bowe (with whom I was in contact) and I re-energized the campaign for peaceful prisoner exchange (Bowe for Taliban) which would hopefully save lives.

The exchange was seen as controversial and not without criticism. The US still had Weinstein to consider along with Lo Porto… would they want to go through more prisoner exchange and challenges when an “accidental” drone strike would be another way out saying money and avoiding casualties sending in special forces to rescue hostages? As the New York Times reported on Yemen hostage situation back in December 2014,

“hostages — Luke Somers, an American photojournalist, and Pierre Korkie, a South African teacher — were killed by their captors, militants from Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, when they realized the rescue effort was underway. President Obama said he had authorized the operation, led by about three dozen Navy SEAL Team 6 commandos, after concluding that Mr. Somers’s life was in ‘imminent danger’”

Adam Gadahn killed in drone strike though not “specifically targeted”

There were two other Americans affiliated with al-Qaida who were also killed in US counter-terrorism operations involving drones, Ahmed Farouq and Adam Gadahn. As the White House stated, these men were not “specifically targeted” yet they were killed. Farouq had been a leader of al Qaeda’s branch in India whilst Gadahn appeared on the FBI’s list of most wanted terrorists and was indicted on charges of providing material support to Al Qaeda.

The White House is now aiming to be seen as “open” and “caring” providing the public with information on these drone strikes as a gesture of “democracy” and goodwill… but is it? Weinstein and LoPorto are westerners said to have been involved in aid work and it would be hard not to mention those killed alongside them or in the near vicinity but what about the hundreds of non-white Muslim civilian victims? Where is the inquiry into these deaths by drone… do their lives not matter? Is this the message from the White House?

Human rights group Reprieve gave the following statement, 

“Commenting on today’s news that a US drone mistakenly killed two hostages, an Italian and an American, in a January strike, Reprieve US attorney Alka Pradhan, who represents other civilian victims of drone attacks, said:

“It’s right that the White House has come clean and admitted its tragic mistake in killing these hostages, and our hearts go out to their families.

“It’s worth remembering, however, that Dr. Weinstein and Mr Lo Porto are far from the first innocents to die by our drones, and in no other case has the US apologized for its mistake.

“The White House is setting a dangerous precedent – that if you are Western and hit by accident we’ll say we are sorry, but we’ll put up a stone wall of silence if you are a Yemeni or Pakistani civilian who lost an innocent loved one. Inconsistencies like this are seen around the world as hypocritical, and do the United States’ image real harm.  

“Greater transparency is just the start of what we need: we also need a fundamental reassessment of whether the secret drone war does more harm than good.”

It appears the US may now pay compensation to Weinstein and Lo Porto… will US now pay compensation to other victims of drone strikes in Yemen, Pakistan and elsewhere?

This extraordinarily unethical decision further fueled concerns already arising from the people of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) regarding safety, efficacy of the vaccine and whether there may be sinister foreign plots afoot to poison or sterilize those receiving the vaccination in the region. Since the CIA fiasco a number of polio workers and their security personnel have been shot dead and injured stalling vaccination programmes and leading to the postponement of a Pak-Afghan meeting on polio last week.

Dr Umme-e-Muhammad has entered the debate via a video released by Umar media division of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP). The following is the translation transcript of her talk followed by an examination of the points raised.

“Assalaam Alaikum my fellow countrymen. In our country there has been a constant reign of forceful and brutal martial law. Now these rulers have crossed even the brutalities of the pharaohs. Now the countrymen are not facing the army martial law but medical martial law. If you do not give your innocent infants the poison drops then your daily life will be curtailed. There is no guarantee that in the very near future your infants will be taken from you and given to the Jewish and Christian NGOs. The pharaohs used to kill innocent children openly but these worshipers of money on the promises of giving life are selling poison drops and injections. I am not saying these things in this forum on verbal information but on the basis of my personal experience and research.

In the field of medicine I have Masha’Allah worked for almost 8 years. I did my MBBS from Pakistan and then did my specialization from abroad. Then on the basis of my excellent performance I was offered a position for PhD where I did my research on the heart. During that time I came across some Muslim mothers who were worried about the vaccine and its harmful effects. At that time Alhamdulillah I did research on the vaccine and on the basis of that research I am today sitting in front of you and I want to bring some facts in front of you.

Polio is now being called a Muslim disease (illness). The World Health Organisation is constantly after Pakistan’s infants. The international community is surprisingly showing so much activity. All of a sudden the life of Muslim children has become a major mission for them. Maybe in the tribal areas of Pakistan the mutilated bodies of more than 400 children killed by the bombs from drones and jets has not been witnessed by them. Maybe the burnt bodies of innocent children in hospitals and their decapitated bodies have been unsuccessful in gaining their attention.

In Pakistan every year more than 100,000 children fall prey to death as a result of cholera, typhoid, malaria and similar fatal diseases. Instead of curtailing these other diseases the western Jewish organisations are targeting diseases like polio which is neither even fatal nor that common. Why are they seemingly so much concerned over the eradication of this disease? Without doubt the polio and other vaccine is a dajjali (anti-Christ, deceiver) weapon against humanity. Today by the grace of Allah (S.W.T). I will lift the curtain from this.

When the germs attack the body, then our immune system seems to immediately start taking evasive action against it. Daily not thousands but millions of germs attack our bodies through nose, ear and mouth and skin. It is a blessing of Allah that these immune cells which are called B-cells and T-cells in general terms not only take action against the germ but also develop resilient army cells for future attack by the same germ. The human history spread over a billion years has been prospering by the grace of Allah. On the other hand the concept of vaccine has come about only a 100 year ago.

We see that during this century the rate of death and disease has increased many folds. Is it possible that these very dajjali organisations themselves create the disease and then sell its cure at expensive rates? And when they have to spread their ulterior motives they start spreading their web by giving free medicines. Recently the Ebola virus is an example in this regard. Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia were difficult terrain for the American forces, then by using Red Cross Ebola virus was spread. Then the dajjali lies spreading media spread the word of Ebola across the whole world.

Immediately many big pharmaceutical companies were seen making the ebola vaccine. The speed with which these companies were making these vaccines is evidence that vaccines were already there. Meaning that these enemies of humanity elements, for the sake of their business growth were responsible for spreading the disease and its cure are one and the same. Then America and its allies got an excuse to land their forces in these African countries even if they are in medical uniform. Their real objective was the Muslim jihadi groups present there and the diamond mines. Now we move onto swine flu, swine flu was created way back in 1942.

In 1942 the Rockerfeller Institute published a report that when swine flu virus and hemaphelaus were combined, it would create a very fatal lung disease. Then we see in 2009, swine flu spread in Mexico. This swine flu influenza virus and hemaphelaus is the disease that affects the lungs. And surprisingly that three months before the spread of this disease, one American hospital requested for the development of vaccine. Is this a mere coincidence? Listen ahead. In 1972, the world health organisation published a report that one virus that destroys the T-cells in our immune system be spread in vaccine on experimental basis so that its results could be studied. Now let us see another coincidence.

That in central Africa, there was widespread use of small pox vaccine. Then very soon after, AIDS started to show in Africa, America and other parts of the world. Now AIDS is that disease that destroys the T-cells in our immune system. This was used to destroy the African race. And billions of rupees went into the pharmaceutical companies and banks of research institutes so that its cure could be developed.

Now let us move towards polio. The World Health Organisation claimed that in Nigeria the spread of polio is not the vaccine but the non availability of vaccine in poor communities. Despite this they have admitted that those children who have been given the live virus of polio in the form of vaccine they will continue to spread this for weeks. Meaning they will become the cause for the spread of this virus. In Mbarara hospital in 1977 in just one month, more than 600 children died due to polio vaccine. And surprisingly, the world health organisation did not bring this report to light. Thus the world health organisation became a world death organisation.

Bill Gates feels quite disturbed when he sees children suffering from polio in wheel chairs. But due to polio vaccine the brain diseases, brain cancer, bone cancer, lung cancer and diseases like paralysis do not disturb Bill Gates or the World Health Organisation. Polio vaccine was used to control African birth rates. Many Africans in their 20s and 30s were affected by brain cancer. Other than this due to the use of this vaccine children also developed hair loss. One large pharmaceutical company, Glaxo Smith Klein, who is in the forefront of this vaccine admitted itself that polio vaccine contains heavy metal like aluminium its content can range from 2 – 400microgram. Aluminium enters the body of the infant and lodges itself in the brain cells. Which in future lead to and becomes a cause for cancer, autism, epilepsy, Parkinson and other brain diseases. Aluminium and mercury type of fatal elements are added to this vaccine. These elements destroy our immune B-cells and T-cells. Our body that develops an immune system against germs, this vaccine stunts the growth of this system from infancy. Other than this, this vaccine also weakens the tiny heart of our infants.

We see that gastro diseases are increasing in the world. MMR vaccine (Measles, Mumps and Rubela) which is given to all children in Pakistan is the cause for gastro ailments. Now let us move toward another devil plan the name of which is eugenics program. John Holdrin who is killer Obamas’s Assistant for Science and Technology, in 1977 wrote a book where he floated the evil idea that because the world population is increasing fast, so govt should include birth control medicines in drinking water and foods. Children should be taken from their mothers, because our land cannot afford to support so much population. Maybe John Holdrin was trying to say that the followers of dajjal who are only 5 to 10 percent in order to control 100 percent of the world resources should try to destroy 95 percent of the world population.

According to one report due to technoflexing in 1990 many women suffered from being unable to bear children. As a result of swine flu vaccine and cervical cancer immunisation many women had miscarriage in recent times. In the near future the enemies of Muslims are developing such viruses which will be sprayed onto Muslim population so that whole of the inhabitants will become numb. Polio vaccine and similar vaccines are a part of the same chain. Allah has warned us about the nefarious designs of the Zionists and Christians. In Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan the murderers of millions of children are suddenly becoming protectors and saviours of Pakistani children.

Polio and other vaccine is a dajjali conspiracy so that our children are unable to join the forces of Imam Mehdi against the forces of dajjal. I appeal to the doctors, nurses and health workers that do not become a cause for the race elimination and destruction of Muslims. Do not spoil your afterlife for a few rupees. O my Muslims mothers how can you expose your loved ones to the poisoned drops and injections. Now the reality is that to get gas and electricity facilities you have to make your children mentally and physically disabled.

Pakistan’s murtad (apostasy), soul selling leaders and generals have sold their souls for the sake of dollars. I have no hope of salvation from them but I am sure the people will rise up against this injustice and tyranny. I give the Pakistanis this good news that the mujahideen or the land of Khorasan will not let the future of the land of Islam be destroyed. I warn the companies making vaccines and companies selling vaccines and medical mafia that they refrain from spreading this poison. Otherwise that time is near when the wrath of Allah will descend upon them. O Muslims we should purify our soul by paying heed to Allah’s commands and the physical by healthy surroundings and eating pure natural food. The prophet (PBUH) medicine authentic books are available in abundance which we need to make part of in our daily lives. To protect ourselves from infectious diseases the prophet (PBUH) said in his golden principles that when there is an infectious disease no one should leave that area and nobody from outside should come into that area. This is an easy, helpful and doable suggestion. Which in the modern times is named quarantine.

Prophet SAW said that there is a lump of flesh in our body if this is OK then the whole body will be OK and this is the heart. Enlighten your heart with the true teaching and obedience of Allah. Reject the following of taghoot (overstepping the boundaries) and come out into the mountains where the atmosphere is pure from the dajjali influence. The Prophet (PBUH) said that those people in this time will be able to save themselves from dajjal who will make mountains their abode. Wa ma ilayna illlal blah”

As Dr Umme-e-Muhammad correctly points out there is now a crackdown on parents in Pakistan in a push to get all children vaccinated. Back in the March 2015, the Guardian reported,

“hundreds of parents in north-west Pakistan have been arrested and jailed after refusing to give their children polio vaccinations, according to officials.

Feroz Shah, a spokesman for the district administration in Peshawar, said 471 people had been imprisoned in the city and surrounding villages under government orders on charges of endangering public security.”

Authorities might have helped to reassure parents if instead of penalizing them, the courts had taken action against the CIA team that used a vaccination programme for unethical means thus leading to the endangerment of life. This did not happen, giving out a message that the state did not care about foreign interference in its health care programmes and sparking all kinds of concerns both true and false. “Taliban support polio vaccine whilst US support killing children by drone”

The Daily Times reported that “the Darul Afta (fatwa council) of Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) has issued a fatwa, saying that the administration of polio drops to children is not forbidden in Islam. It says prominent scholars and experts of the Muslim world are convinced that polio drops do not contain anything that is harmful to health or against sharia.”

Correct storage of vaccines important

What is an ongoing concern with vaccination programmes in developing countries is the worry that children will not be treated with the same level of safety standards as the west…. the issue of inequality in healthcare. The following issues are important to be considered in discussion and practice,

1) type of polio vaccination… some countries now use polio jabs but Pakistan uses drops

2) out of date vaccinations have been known to be used or wastage through not checking dates

3) poor storage facilities so vaccine efficacy is affected, wrong temperature etc

4) vaccine not given following correct procedures

5) accessibility of health care programmes, children are missed

6) pricing of vaccines

7) It is also essential to ensure there are no other toxins or disease inducing agents in the preparation of vaccines.

Dr Umme-e-Muhammad makes very valid points referring to what I term must be a “holistic” approach to health care which includes good nutrition, access to clean water, monitoring physical and mental health and wellbeing and disease prevention in the wider sense, covering other childhood illnesses. The “medical mafia” must be held accountable for any digressions regarding safety and we must be aware and challenge monopolies trying to control health and pharmaceutical industries fixing prices for example. As she highlights, there is a great deal of hypocrisy focusing on polio and ignoring “the mutilated bodies of more than 400 children killed by the bombs from drones and jets”, a point mentioned by myself many times and by the Pakistan Taliban in previous interviews. Polio and the cessation of drone strikes were on the agenda of so called “peace talks” in Pakistan but unfortunately alleged target killing by the state did not stop during this period so the talks were not given serious consideration and fighting restarted.

“Sister, we are not opposed to healthcare per se but have to take certain measures to curtail spy operations carried out undercover. We simply cannot ignore spy operations under their cover. Our enemies want to vaccinate our children before droning them.

There have been cases similar to that of Dr Shakil Afridi.

For Allah and His Nabi (PBUH) sake we are willing to sacrifice our lives, vaccination is petty. Drones and Pakistan army killing our children. The ground intelligence is provided to the US by ISI, we have attacked Camp Chapman, others.

Diseases mutate, new diseases arise, it is not a case of if but when a new disease comes along as with Ebola on 1976 and Aids in the late 1970s (though there are isolated cases suggested much earlier). I certainly agree with Dr Umme-e-Muhammad that pharmaceutical companies are known to push and sometimes go beyond the boundaries of morality… I have lost family members haemophiliacs that were given contaminated blood “treatment” from American pharmaceutical companies selling contaminated plasma products sourced from prisoners to the UK. I have also taken four pharmas to court so very well aware of their unethical behaviour at times. Their greed can put profit before safety and it is useful to have organizations such as CorpWatch to keep an eye on their activities. There is well documented evidence of pharma companies and doctors in institutions performing unethical experimentation usually on the most vulnerable in society, those in care homes, prisons and in developing countries. Again haemophiliac children and newly diagnosed haemophiliacs were deliberately infected with HIV, hepatitis viruses without parents knowledge and studied for years, when finally tested, the positive test results were also withheld.Minutes of meetings said they were cheaper to use than chimpanzees.

Mbarara Polio 

I can only find one reference to the Mbarara hospital outbreak where “in 1977 in just one month, more than 600 children died due to polio vaccine” according to Dr Ummw-e-Muhammad but it appears a vaccine that was discontinued in America may have been used. According to the following article, “many live oral polio vaccinations were used rather than giving them the safer “killed” polio vaccine used in the U.S. and Canada.” It is essential that the safest and most appropriate vaccine is used in all cases.

Dr Umme-e-Muhammad mentions “eugenics” the belief that one race is superior to another and must be preserved whilst traits, genetic elements or even persons have been annihilated in pursuit of the “ideal” such as happened during the second world war with the Nazis and their unethical experimentation. Trials of the Nazis led to the formation of the Nuremberg Code of ethical practice to try to prevent this happening again.

The point it is, it is not surprising that such fears arise in people within the Tribal Areas of Pakistan when vaccinations may come from the US that through CIA chief John Brennan helped initiate military operation Zarb-e-Asb with the Pakistan Armed Forces. The US has also facilitated a drone programme which is like Eugenics, I named this “Eudronics” as drones predominately target and exterminate non-white Sunni Muslims. As long as Pakistan is targeting its own people aided by US dollars it will be very difficult to eradicate fears regarding safety of US supported vaccines.

If Dr Umme-e-Muhammad wishes to study and learn more regarding the origins and spread of HIV and Ebola I recommend she contact Dr Don Francis, one of the most ethical men I know who made great personal sacrifices in his career to expose immoral and indeed criminal behaviour of pharmaceutical companies, FDA and Red Cross in failing to follow appropriate safety precautions and spreading AIDS round the world. This was often through the commodification of blood on which I wrote my award winning dissertation. Francis also helped to contain the first outbreak of Ebola back in 1976, (the latest outbreak may be linked to eating of bushmeat) and was there in the very early days of AIDS, we both received awards on the same event for “upholding truth and justice” in the field of global health. Back to polio, I had the pleasure of knowing Dr Spence Galbraith who “played the leading role in modernising the methods and arrangements for the surveillance and prevention of communicable disease in England and Wales” and his research included the epidemiology of food poisoning, poliomyelitis surveillance and field studies of vaccines. He did an amazing job researching the safety and importance of the polio vaccine which has been used successfully for decades around the world if as mentioned above the highest safety standards and procedures are followed and applied. Galbraith also studied the BCG vaccination and wrote a definitive account of John Snow’s life where through exhaustive research he linked a cholera epidemic in London’s Soho in 1854 to a communal water pump…. the “Broad Street Pump”.

I agree with Dr Umme-e-Muhammad a good healthy natural lifestyle as detailed in the Qur’an is very important. She has indeed raised key factors and questions and reminded us that all care and safety must come before financial profit. The use of quarantine if required is also important and if children and adults are not up to date with vaccines it will limit movement as procedures to stop the spread of disease kick into place. I would be very interested to read any journal articles she has published on the polio vaccine as education never ceases.

Personally, as a Muslim, I had no qualms about getting a recent top-up polio jab in the UK, my first polio vaccine was as a child (on a sugar lump) and the children in my family are all vaccinated with no ill effects.

We must also remember that some of the most significant scientific inventions and breakthroughs have come from the Muslim community and are greatly valued so the Islamic community is progressive with new discoveries. No disease should be used simply as a political or point scoring exercise, life is too precious. Along with the Islamic Emirate and Pakistan Taliban, I don’t see the polio vaccine as the problem per se and it can come within the halal requirements, rather that is must be seen in a wider health and environmental context and all precautions taken to ensure correct procedures are followed and vaccines are of the highest possible standards. This combined with a natural existence will give our children the best possible chance of not only surviving but maturing in good health. We must have a heart as Dr Umme-e-Muhammad states to ensure we provide this for our children and our communities.

The specialty of the missile is its design that can be prepared everywhere easily and should be the most important and useful weapon in the future for TTP’s Fighters.
