Statement of Islamic Emirate regarding appointment of negotiations team

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful

Negotiations are continuing with the United States and have so far been conducted successfully by the appointed officials; however due to the sensitivity of the issue and in accordance with the guidance by the esteemed Amir ul Mumineen Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundazada, the following negotiations team has been appointed and tasked to work by the Deputy of Political Affairs of Islamic Emirate, the respected Mullah Baradar Akhund:

1 – Respected Sher Muhammad Abbas Stanekzai as team leader.

2 – Respected Zia-ul-Rahman Madani as team member.

3 – Respected Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi as team member.

4 – Respected Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar as team member.

5 – Respected Mullah Abdul Latif Mansur as team member.

6 – Respected Mullah Abdul Manan Omari as team member.

7 – Respected Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqqi as team member.

8 – Respected Mullah Muhammad Fazal Mazlum as team member.

9 – Respected Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa as team member.

10 – Respected Mawlawi Mattiul Haq as team member.

11 – Respected Mullah Muhammad Anas Haqqani as team member.

12 – Respected Mullah Noorullah Noori as team member.

13 – Respected Mawlawi Muhammad Nabi Omari as team member.

14 – Respected Mullah Abdulhaq Waseeq as team member.

The stated team will continue the ongoing negotiations process with the United States and will forge ahead with issues within their given capacity.
