KANDAHAR, Apr. 27 – A large enemy convoy arrived from Kandahar city to Kata Sang area of Shahwalikot district later yesterday afternoon before launching attacks on Mujahideen positions.
Mujahideen countered the enemy and repulsed their attacked, forcing them to retreat towards Borgani area after 3 APCs were destroyed and dozens of hirelings were killed and wounded including 2 commanders namely Lalai and Sadiq were killed.
Another convoy which arrived from Tarinkot to Kokhi area for reinforcement was also engaged by Mujahideen, destroying another APC as well as killing and wounding several more hirelings.
It is said that the most important commander (Haji Lala) of the notorious so-called Kandahar police chief – Razziq – was also injured in the fighting.
