Following the fall of the Ottoman Empire at the hands of the barbarians of east and west, the Lord Almighty cooled the eyes of the believers with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The Islamic Emirate gave a glimmer of hope to the Muslims about the resurrection of a pure Islamic Caliphate. This movement physically enacted the laws of Allah in a strategic area of the Islamic world and presented the beautiful picture of Shariah to the world which in turn reawakened the Muslims from their slumber and rekindled their hopes of establishment of Shariah in the Islamic world. The establishment of an Islamic government and enforcement of Shariah law by a religious class gave hope of victory to the wayfarers struggling in the path of Haqq (truth). Clinging firmly onto all the tenets of Islam turned the wary eyes and hopes of every oppressed Muslim around the globe towards this pure Islamic movement.
The Islamic Emirate handed the Afghan nation a blue print for an Islamic system and Sharia compliant politics, blessed them with an atmosphere of peace and stability, eradicated oppression, terror, barbarity and anarchy of warlords and began healing the wounds of this tattered nation. It prevented the spread of profanity and deviancy, promoted Islamic and Afghan culture over western decadence, constructed prestigious religious institutions and enlightened the nation as well as secured its borders and cemented the status of Afghanistan as a whole independent country.
However America could never tolerate this home of the Muslims and brought down the Islamic Emirate for her imperialistic goals. All of this failed to dent the courage of the leader of this movement who – as his responsibility – launched a determined armed struggle against these transgressors and the Taliban managed to grind and crush the invading countries and once again cooled the hearts of the believers by defeating the infidels.
The chief reason behind the triumphant advance of this movement for two decades since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate is due to harmony among its leaders and unity of its ranks, a feat in which the Taliban and Muslims take immense pride.
The enemies of Islam have left no stone unturned to weaken and destroy the Emirate, from propping up auxiliaries under titles of ANA, ANP and NDS to creating projects such as Arbakis (ALP), uprisings, Marg (death) group, local councils and Daesh (ISIS). The sly enemy even tried to weaken the Taliban by exerting enormous efforts and using every means at its disposal to split the Islamic Emirate.
Following the declaration about the passing away of the late Amir ul Mumineen, Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid (RA), the enemy renewed these efforts. The media doubled down on its propaganda efforts and so-called analysts remarked and shared their insights. America deemed it an opportune time to activate its $400 million project set aside to create rifts among the leadership of Islamic Emirate however the swift appointment of a new leader, Amir ul Mumineen Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansoor (HA) and the rapid flow of pledges of allegiance from across the world baffled the enemy and shattered their venomous yearning.
After failing in splitting and dispersing the Islamic Emirate into groups, the enemy launched new efforts to take advantage of the situation of some individuals who had yet to pledge allegiance by depicting it as huge irreparable rift through intense propaganda. Even though the separation of an insignificant number of people from this huge convoy can never be termed fracture of an organization but still, the Mujahideen under a single leadership practically displayed through their victories in the east and west, north and south of the country that they are still one body and take pride in their unity. And all praise belong to Allah, most of the individuals like Mullah Muhammad Hassan Rahmani (RA) and Mullah Abdul Qayyum Zakir (HA) who initially hesitated due to some reservations – a situation even observed among our Salaf (forefathers) – later steadily began declaring their allegiances and snatched away any opportunity afforded to the enemy for exploitation.
The unity of the Islamic Emirate is a mercy from the Almighty Allah and a need of the Muslims. That is why the Islamic Emirate has tried its very best to retain its unity, neutralize enemy plots and prevent formation of new groups which in turn would degrade and disorientate the ranks, an experience gained from our previous Jihad against the soviets. The multitude of parties after the Soviet defeat resulted in a civil war, continuation of killings and war crimes over power and the prevention of establishment of an independent Islamic government due to quarreling.
In hopes of everlasting unity of the Islamic Emirate
Musa Muhajir
