Reports arriving from eastern Nangarhar province say that a number of Daesh commanders along with all their fighters broke their ties with Daesh and pledged allegiance to the esteemed Amir ul Mumineen, Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansoor (may Allah safeguard him). The names and allegiance letter can be read underneath:

الحمد الله الذي بعث محمداً بالهدی و دین الحق فهدی به من الضلالة و بصر به من العمی و جمع به بعد الفرقة والف به بعد العداوة و الحمد لله الذي جعل التأخی بین المؤمنین من المقتضیات الایمان و اوجب ما یقوم هذه الاخوة التي هم من الدعائم و الارکان و اشهد ان لا اله الا الله الملک الحق الدیان و اشهد ان محمدا عبده و رسوله اشرف الثقلین من الانس و الجان صلی الله علیه وسلم و اصحابه و التابعین له باحسان و سلم تسلیماً.
و بعد! فقد قال الله تبارک و تعالی : وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا. العمران 130
وقال الله تعالي : إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ صَفًّا كَأَنَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَرْصُوصٌ. الصف 4
وعن انس رضي الله تعالي عنه ان النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم قال قال لابی ایوب رضی الله عنه: الا ادلکم علی تجارة ؟ قال بلی قال: صل بین الناس اذا تفاسدوا و قرب بینهم اذا تباعدوا. رواه البزار والطبراني.

To the believing, Mujahid, valiant, proud, suffering and respected nation of Afghanistan, may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon you all.

We ask Allah to always keep you triumphant, prosperous and united.

Distinguished (brothers)! That we waged our obligation of sacred Jihad under the leadership of Islamic Emirate from before however unfortunately (in our view) due to some issues and challenges obstructing consolidation of unity, establishment and development of the Islamic Emirate as well as misunderstanding, mistrust and distance with the brothers led us to join Daesh or otherwise known as the Islamic State.

But due to the ambiguous blind policies of Daesh, their wanton killing, beating, persecution, looting, burning, and usurping land and property of the oppressed Afghans, their displacement, treachery with their elders, depriving them of schools, clinics, public welfare projects and development, heedless towards general Muslim interests, adoption of extremism over leniency, prohibiting vice in fashion which produces corruption, Takfiri (excommunication) views of most members, improper establishment of religion, and having no reasonable, legal and regular way of fixing these problems; in short not having a remedy for the wounds of the Afghans. So due to the efforts of some sincere brothers from the Islamic Emirate as well as positive, fruitful interaction and understanding nature and agreement with the Islamic Emirate, our mind and conscious could not longer permit us to stay with the said group (Daesh). Therefore in the radiant light of Muhammadi Shariah we – as the representatives of all of our Mujahideen – break our oath with the leader of Daesh or Islamic State and for the continuation of sacred duty of jihad in our motherland and for the establishment of a true Islamic government, we whole heartedly pledge our allegiance to the new Amir of Islamic Emirate, the esteemed Amir ul Mumineen Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansoor (may Allah safeguard him) and promise our comprehensive cooperation, untiring efforts and respects to him.

And peace and mercy of Allah be upon you all.
