Islamic Emirate: 3 APCs destroyed in Khwaja Musa clashes, 36 killed and wounded

FARYAB, Feb. 27 – Officials reporting from northern Faryab province say that the savage General Dostum and his Gelum Jum militias riding on hundreds of motorbikes and backed by 300 APCs and military vehicles as well as helicopters entered Khwaja Musa district center at noon time today as Mujahideen carried out a tactical retreat.

As the enemy entered the area, Mujahideen began engaging them from 4 axis, triggering heavy battles in which 3 enemy APCs were destroyed, 11 gunmen killed and 25 others wounded as well as another APC, a Dshk heavy machine gun and other equipment seized.

The enemy fled the district center at 06:00 pm with Mujahideen still pursuing and engaging the withdrawing enemy.

Reports say that only 1 Mujahid has been injured in the entire fighting, adding that the fighting is still ongoing at the moment, more details about which will be updated later.
