KANDAHAR, Feb. 17 – Reports arriving from Maiwand district say that Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate detonated an explosively rigged compound of foreign invaders and their hirelings when they landed via helicopters for a raid in Barang Karez area last night.

The powerful blast killed over 30 invaders and their hirelings, forcing the enemy to call in helicopters to airlift the casualties.

Mujahideen later recovered  4 pair of NVGs, several helmets, armor vests and boots from the area.
