Islamic Emirate: 21 killed, wounded or detained as 3 APCs destroyed in attack on convoy

JOWZJAN, Feb. 16 – An enemy military convoy travelling towards Qushtepa district was engaged by Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate in Khanqa district’s Tash Kotal area at around 02:00 pm Monday afternoon.

The fighting lasted for a protracted period in which 3 APCs were completely destroyed, 6 hirelings killed, 12 injured and 3 detained as well as a Dshk heavy machine gun, 3 US M16 rifles and a sizable amount of other arms and ammunition seized.

The enemy fled after the engagement, abandoning plans of going to Qushtepa.

This came as 3 enemy offensives also also warded off in Dand-e-Ghori area Baghlan province’s capital Pul-e-Khumri in which an APC was destroyed with an IED, 4 gunmen killed, 6 Arbakis killed in a second attack whereas the US-led invaders also bombed their own hirelings, causing them deadly losses which are yet to be determined.
