Post via Islamic Emirate

Yesterday Pajhwok news agency published a report claiming that a young man named Fazl Ahmad was killed by the Taliban and his eyes gouged out in Qazyano area of Dawlat Yar district, Ghor province.

We strongly condemn this inhumane act and have launched an investigation to find the culprits and punish them in accordance with Shariah. We are shocked about this incident and sympathize with the victim’s family. We have tried to contact the father (Ahmad Khan) of this young man in order to extend our condolences and ask him about the details of the incident but were unable due to bad telecommunication signal.

We once again reiterate and promise to continue our investigation into the matter until we have found the culprits and punished them accordingly.
