Three stories from Occupied Palestine by Younes Arar

The school bills rang, but that pink school bag was still next to house door where she puts every night to take when she goes to school every morning. Her name is Isra’, she is 6 years old, first grade at school. But this time she didn’t go to school this morning because she was subject to investigation by Zionist occupation investigators and soldiers. She said: “they raided the house, yelled at us (mother and three little children), broke our beds, checked our school bags, broke everything in our room (the children’s room), and asked us about our father and money” she added “they took me behind the house, asked me about my father, I was scared and cried a lot, they asked us to raise our hands, I was afraid they might shoot us because they shoot a lot of people”. Her 10 years old Mohammad said, “the officer took me outside the house, I asked him to put on my shoes but he refused and dragged me out, he asked me about my father many times with his gun pointed at me, I told him he is at work, I said you must believe me, then I asked him to let me go to school because I have an exam, but he refused”. Ebtisam Nasar (the mother) said:” I was preparing breakfast for my kids when the shooting started around the house by Zionist occupation forces, and the soldiers were yelling and threatening to blow the house if I don’t open the door, the soldiers raided the house, took the children outside, messed up the rooms, and started questioning my three children without allowing me to be with them”.. Happened yesterday in Silwad village, near Ramallah, 14 October 2015.

Yet it was a war crime,
Zionist occupation forces and subjects were celebrating yesterday the media success of deceiving Palestinians about the health status of the child Ahmad Manasra who was shot many times by Zionist occupation “security staff” three days ago in occupied Jerusalem, Ahmad was critically wounded and calling for help while fascist Zionists around him were kicking, cursing, insulting and asking him to die, but he resisted their fascist wishes and fought for his life and lived, some Palestinians thought he died after seeing the video released by fascists showing him dying, yesterday fascists showed him at the hospital alive (chained to his bed) while the nurse is feeding him, showing that they have a “human side” by treating a “terrorist”, ignoring that he was shot and mocked, but they also ignored to tell the story of his cousin Hasan (13 years old child) who was with him, he was chased as well, he was run over by Zionist occupation “security” car and beaten to death after, run over and beaten to death, this is the reality of Fascist Zionist occupation mentality, shooting the 13 years old Ahmad is a war crime, running over his cousin Hasan is a war crime, and fascist Zionist look like humans but they are not humans, only last year about 2,500 Palestinian citizens were massacred by them in occupied Gaza including 530 children, and since the 1st October 2015 until today 36 Palestinian citizens were literally executed including 10 children, would such fascist be Human?????????????, 16 October 2015.

Never dirtier, today I hear a story and wanted to share with you, I was told yesterday that a Palestinian contractor who had a contract to do finishing works for a flat owned by Zionist occupation female colonist, he had five workers with him, they finished yesterday their contract and did all the works needed, so, asked the owner for his money ($17000), she said, “have you finished all necessary works?” He replied:”yes, you can check for yourself”, she checked and said, “OK, that’s fine, am going to get your money”. She went to the kitchen, brought a knife, thrown it in front of the Palestinian workers and started shouting:”terrorists, terrorists”, of course they immediately run away for their life, otherwise they will be executed without even being asked. Such act was very very common during the second Intifada to escape paying the money they owe the Palestinian workers and now they will do the same. 16 October 2015.

  1. Rachamim Dwek says:

The “little boy” handcuffed to a hospital bed tried to murder two people one of which was also 13. After 4 days in a state of the art hospital he was released on House Arrest. In your own nation he would be transferred to prison and spend at least 8 years. We do not incarcerate anyone under 14. So, stop being a hypocrite and obssessing over a nation and society you know nothing about.

    • Questions is… what makes a child who should be happy and enjoying life so despairing or angry that he feels the need to fight back? The backlash of years of occupation? I am trained in psychiatry worked with some of the most challenging cases you could imagine, including forensic psychiatry, murderers and since Younes wrote about this young boy I saw the most shocking video…. of a totally out of control adult screaming at a juvenile. One of the most unprofessional acts I have seen in my life. Here he would have been relieved off his duties and sent on an anger management course if not sacked. If you don#t like what I write you have the choice not to read it. Here a young person committing a violent act would likely have a full psychiatric assessment to find out what triggered any act of violence and mitigating circumstances and referred to a young person’s unit for psychiatric support or juvenile detention centre. Palestine is under occupation no thanks to past British government so circumstances are exceptional. When people are oppressed they fight back, which is what the Jews did in the Warsaw ghetto under Nazi occupation…they resisted, fought their oppressors but you should know that? In France there was also resistance… You can build your walls and underground barriers, block the tunnels but you can never buy security…
