IS in Khorasan (video still from earlier this year)
An account linked to Wilayat Khorasan (IS or Daesh) in Afghanistan sent a message out today alleging that “IS Mujahid of Khorasan” had “busted” houses of Taliban in Pass Pacheer” arresting 38. Haidari Khorasani stated,
“the arrested 38 armed men were beheaded by brave Mujahidin of Khorasan on road early today morning.”
Islamic State continue allegations that Taliban are “IS agents”. Islamic Emirate (Afghan Taliban) have responded in detail to such claims in an interview with Daily Asharq Al Awsat and also on the presence of IS in Afghanistan.

IS followed up with a further post stating,
“the death toll of ISI agents in Paas Pacheer raised to 65 and 16 others have been arrested by brave Mujahidin of Islamic state.”
Tribal Elders and sons may also be among the casualties. This could not be independently confirmed, Islamic Emirate have been approached for comment. IS also stated,
“The tribal people were provoked by ISI agents to stand up and pick up Weapons against Islamic state Mujahidin.
But the ISI agents left them and escaped.”
