The bought off war mongers and hypocrites fighting for the cross on social media platforms continually argue that Jihad carries no other message for humanity than bloodletting and destruction. They constantly disparage the Mujahideen by asking what message has your Jihad in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and other Islamic countries delivered except destruction. And what good has your Jihad achieved?
We say that according to Islam, Jihad is not the name of pointless bloodletting and destruction. Rather Jihad means eradicating oppression and corruption from the face of the planet and establishing the laws of Allah Almighty on His earth. Jihad is not waged for national, ethnic and worldly gains nor for destruction. The Muslims have been allowed by the Lord Almighty to wage Jihad and war to hold back the oppression and transgression of the infidel unbelievers. The Islamic mission lifted the darkness of Jahl (ignorance) – the prevalent oppression and corruption that terrifies the human conscience – from Jazeeratul Arab and most parts of the world through the blessing of Jihad and warfare.
You shall discover the mentioned reality written in golden lines in the annals of history by Muslim and non-Muslims alike.
If we look closer and thoroughly analyze the fruits of Jihad over the course of past century we will surely understand that it is due to the blessing of Jihad by the empty-handed Mujahideen which managed to shield the weak nations around the world especially the oppressed Muslims from the violent storms of the English and Communists.
We ask the rejectors of Jihad – the communists, atheists, secularists and other deviant strata of society – that if the Muslims in a multitude of Islamic countries had not waged Jihad against the English, had they not struggled for independence and had they accepted the views you currently hold, what would have been the state of the Islamic world at this moment?
Would the Islamic countries have attained whatever little independence they have today? Would there still have been a geographical area that the Muslims called their own? Would not have all the Muslims been dealt with in the same manner as Andalusia (today’s Spain), Portugal, Burma and East Turkistan?
If the Afghans had not fought three wars with the English, what do you think the state of Afghanistan would be today? Would it have turned out as another Andalus or another Turkey?
When the Afghans lost the Empire won by Ahmad Shah Baba and gave up lands from Attock to Isfahan and Afghanistan was left landlocked, was this not due to the conspires of people like you and your abandonment of Jihad?
We ask them, had the Afghans not confronted the Red Army and staved off this plague from the world, what would have the condition of Afghanistan been today?
Would Afghanistan not have turned into a battleground of another world war?
And even if it had averted becoming battleground for another world war and remained in the hands of the Soviet Union and the communist Khalq and Parcham, would it have been an independent country or another state or republic of the Soviet Federation?
And would our current generation have remained firm Muslims like they are today?
The truth of the matter remains that Jihad protects the spirituality, Islamic roots and true identity of every nation. If a Muslim nation deserts Jihad in the face of aggression and accepts the few roads, bridges, dams, schools, factories, buildings and education and health facilities offered by occupation then without a doubt, they shall find themselves in a state where return to their spirituality, Islamic roots and true identity will become impossible.
The situation of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and central Asia where they have completely lost their Islamic and national heritage are in front of us to study. The major source of this calamity which has befallen them is due to abandonment of Jihad. And the disbelieving world will still not pardon them. They have even refused them democracy which they have preferred for themselves. They are being ruled by iron fists of dictators and find themselves so low that they cannot pick Islamic names for themselves or legally pray before the age of 18 or take oaths in the name of Allah Almighty instead of the king.
Aside from the above reality, the Muslims have not launched any wars in the past decade, instead wars have come to their homes and Muslims are targets of conspiracies. The communists carried out a coup against Dawood Khan 38 years ago, ushered in the Red Revolution, asked for intervention by the Red Army, displaced millions from their homes, killed 1.5 million and left a million disabled. The Afghans merely waged Jihad in defense of their lives, honor, land and beliefs.
The real source of the ills plaguing Afghanistan are the communists, not the real Mujahideen of the righteous path.
When the Jihad succeeded, the east and west prevented Mujahideen from establishing a central government by sowing seeds of dissent and flaming a civil war. The Taliban movement was a natural reaction of the oppressed Afghans against this great conspiracy. After failing in implementing their malicious plans, the west intervened directly in Afghanistan under the pretext of 9/11 and began a reign of terror against the Afghans, the likes of which can scantly be seen in human history.
We ask the critics of Jihad, do the Taliban not have a legal right of self-defense?
Had the Taliban not confronted them, in what state would you have found the Afghans today? How would have the arrogant Americans dealt with the rest of the Muslims worldwide?
What would have happened to the Muslim and national identity of the Afghans?
In fact, what state have they elevated Afghanistan to politically, economically and militarily over the past 15 year?
Can we really consider a few roads, bridges, tall buildings built from looted resources, half a million hectare of land grabs, holding third place on international corruption index, two-headed government functioning on foreign donations, security forces under the command of former communists, rabid Arbaki (ALP) dogs, lewdness and indecency, importing foreign culture and immoral TV serials as achievements?
We ask those who spread confusion about Jihad, who paved the way for the current condition of Iraq?
Who turned Iraq into a frying pan? Who is raining bombs on the Iraqi Muslims for the past two and half decades?
Has anyone else stoop so low to the west as Saddam did?
Why was he attacked?
You want to criticize the defensive Jihad of the Iraqis but why do you not criticize the offensive war of the crusaders launched against the oppressed Iraqi people?
We ask the hypocritical critics of Jihad, who designed the Arab springs in Yemen, Libya and Syria? And with whose approval and backing did they begin?
Are not these same democratic Arab Springs the real source of all the current destruction in those countries?
And this happened in spite of none of the toppled regimes being Islamic of Jihadi. Rather they were even harsher than the east and west in their enmity towards the Mujahideen. But under whose bombs and explosives are the defenseless Muslims of these countries currently living under?
Are they not entitled to self-defense?
Were they not intentionally pushed towards war?
We can confidently say – while keeping the above realities in mind – that Jihad always delivers oppressed nations especially oppressed Muslims from calamities and it is these supposed peaceful red and pink revolutions that are the source of all ills that have currently befallen the Muslims.
It carries no other message except surrender and cowardice in face of the infidels and eradication of Islamic and national heritage. And neither did it save the Muslims from relying on imperialists politically, economically and militarily.
