Niaz Muhammad (40) a former Pakistan Air Force (PAF) junior technician, who was sentenced to death for making an attempt on the life of former army chief Pervez Musharraf in Rawalpindi in 2003 has allegedly been recorded on video with a message to senior Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) commander Adnan Rasheed.

The 7 minute 36 second film was presented by Pakistan Defence ( http://www.defence.pk ) which describes itself as “an authoritative website for Pakistan Military and international defense with military news & discussions.”

The video which is in urdu was said to have been made hours before the hanging of Muhammad and is aimed at his former co-conspirator who was freed from Bannu jail in a break-out organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) in April 2012. Nearly 400 prisoners escaped into the night when around 150 insurgents armed with guns, grenades and rockets launched a ferocious attack on the prison with a key aim to release Rasheed.

In this latest video, Muhammad is seen flanked by uniformed men as he watches what appears to be footage of the TTP attack on Peshawar Army School which shocked Pakistan and left 140 adults and schoolchildren dead with 122 injured. There has been no indication that Rasheed was involved in the planning of this specific incident. Those who participated on the day were killed on site according to press releases and Rasheed does not appear to have been named in any FIR (First Incident Report). Muhammad is also shown appearing to watch footage of an old video of Rasheed training a “death squad” which contained a further specific warning to Musharraf to surrender or his life would be in danger.

Rasheed is known in the west as the Taliban leader who wrote to schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai expressing his shock that she was shot by TTP whilst he was in prison and advising her to return to Pakistan to study. He drew criticism from some fellow fighters for expressing his personal thoughts on this attack.. In previous interviews Rasheed has condemned the killing of civilians referring to an airstrike intended to target his family which killed local children,

“the Pakistan Air Force claimed that they targeted my house on January 20, 2014. By the Grace of Allah, I and my family are safe. However, the bombing killed four innocent civilians. They were Maryam (4 years old), her mother Ayesha (24 years old), her grandmother (80 years old) and her uncle Bakhtullah (17 years old). A young boy Shahzeb (7 years old) and his sister (14 years old) were taken to Peshawar for treatment; they had sustained burns and broken bones. The symbol of shame, Pakistan Air Force, killed innocent civilians of the Mehsud tribe in an attempt to kill me along with my wife, two year old daughter and infant son.

It was breaking news on TV that I, with my wife, children and mother were killed in an air strike by PAF jets. The government proudly made this claim but nobody in the Pakistani nation raised this simple question: Why were women and children targeted?”

Muhammad is asked his opinion on the Peshawar School massacre and whether he receives information in jail. He is asked about TTP but does not appear to have had contact with Rasheed since before the death of TTP Emir Hakimullah Mehsood in a drone strike. It seems the intention of the video is to condemn TTP and encourage Muhammad to advise Rasheed regarding his involvement with the group. Muhammad looks emotional at one point when asked about Rasheed whom he has described as being “a very good friend” and wipes his eye. A Pakistani colleague who viewed the film said at one point he appeared to defend Rasheed.

The video can be viewed on a Youtube link (though this may be blocked in Pakistan). Its unlikely Rasheed will view it due to restrictions and limitations on communication for those fighting against Pakistan’s armed forces in North Waziristan during operation Zarb-E-Asb and Kyber 1 and 2 operations.

Note… the video on Facebook is incorrectly named as Muhammad Niaz was arrested and imprisoned in 2004 long before establishment of TTP in 2007 so he could not have had first hand knowledge of the organization and denied membership.

What is not clear from the video is what information the convicted prisoner was given on Rasheed and its accuracy as he delivers his message to him or whether Muhammad has been subjected to torture or threats to his family which is allegedly very common in Pakistan’s jails. It is not possible to determine if his message is given freely or if he has been coerced into participating so on that basis its relevance is limited.

Rasheed claimed to have been tortured whilst in prison. In the weeks before the Peshawar School attack both TTP and Tehreek-e-Taliban Jamaat -ul-Ahrar (TTP JA) gave repeated warnings to the army and police to stop alleged torture in custody, extra judicial killings and dumping bodies by the roadside or there would be retaliation attacks. Warnings were ignored. Bodies of prisoners piled up in detention centres and relatives are said to have been threatened if they took the matter further. The investigation around the Peshawar massacre does not appear to be willing to address the causes leading to this horrific attack which would be potentially damaging to all involved in such illegal actions.

Human Rights organizations such as Reprieve have highlighted alleged torture in Pakistan’s police stations and prisons for years, an example of which is given in the following Guardian article by Owen Watkins describing the case of Naheem Hussein and Rehan Zaman,

“torture techniques inflicted on victims such as Naheem and Rehan include falaka (foot whipping with a rod or cane), the pulling out of fingernails with pliers, the rubbing of hot chillies in eyes, endless beatings with sticks, and an excruciating practice called strapado, where the victim is hung by the wrists from the ceiling until the shoulders dislocate. The abuse is often so severe that police tire in their duties of kicking and beating detainees and are rotated, allowing them to recoup their lost strength. Each policeman comes armed with sticks, broom handles or bamboo canes”

The video may well have been made to provoke a reaction from Rasheed knowing that his friend Niaz was interrogated about him in the hours before his hanging on 31st December 2014. Pakistan has come under heavy criticism for announcing up to 500 “revenge” hangings in retaliation for the attack on Peshawar Army School. However those being punished had nothing to do with this assault so the government is creating a large number of new “martyrs” through its actions.

Reprieve have also highlighted the case of Khalid Mehmood, another former Pakistan Air Force technician,whose lawyers have confirmed that he was hanged on Friday 9^th January in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, in defiance of a Lahore High Court stay of execution. They state, “Mr Mehmood’s lawyer, former Pakistan Air Force technician Colonel (ret’d) Inam ur Rahim, has filed a police report against the relevant jail authorities for their role in the unlawful killing.”

With regard to Rasheed the video gives a clear message that he will continue to be hunted down to face the same end as Muhammad. At present he remains free and according to his fellow insurgents is said to be alive and well despite several false reports claiming otherwise.

Jail authorities in Pakistan have carried out the execution of a prisoner despite a High Court stay of execution, it’s emerged.

Local lawyers for Khalid Mehmood, a former Pakistan Air Force technician, have confirmed that he was hanged on Friday 9^th January in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, in defiance of a Lahore High Court stay of execution. The stay had been granted after the court called a Government witness to respond to arguments raised in the case at a hearing scheduled for Monday 12^th. The jail authorities, however, ignored the order of the court and carried out the execution regardless. Two other prisoners in the same case were later hanged on 14^th January.

Mr Mehmood’s lawyer, former Pakistan Air Force technician Colonel (ret’d) Inam ur Rahim, has filed a police report against the relevant jail authorities for their role in the unlawful killing.

A total of 18 prisoners have now been hanged since Pakistan resumed executions on 19^th December 2014. Reports suggest that in at least three of these cases, there may have been evidence of innocence that was never given a fair hearing by the courts.

Lawyers in Pakistan have warned that Mr Mehmood may not be the only prisoner to face an illegal execution. Earlier this week, the authorities suggested that Shoaib Sarwar, who was sentenced to death following his arrest on murder charges in 1996, may now be executed following a ruling on Thursday by the Lahore High Court. His lawyers say any such execution would be illegal, as Mr Sarwar is a party to ongoing court proceedings regarding the legality of his sentence. Mr Sarwar may also have been a juvenile at the time of his offence, making the execution a potential violation of international law.

Mr Sarwar was not tried in a military or anti-terrorism court, but rather in an ordinary court for a non-terrorist offence. Mr Sarwar’s execution would see Pakistan going beyond its stated aim of executing only those it deems to be ‘terrorists’, opening up the possibility that thousands of other prisoners could now be executed.

Pakistan has the largest death row in the world, with over 8,000 people awaiting execution – many of them for non-lethal crimes such as drug offences, blasphemy, and adultery.

Maya Foa, director of the death penalty team at Reprieve, which is assisting Mr Sarwar, said: “It beggars belief that the Government of Pakistan would allow the jail authorities to take justice into their own hands, totally disregarding the orders of the High Court. There is no way that executions carried out in such an arbitrary and haphazard manner can be seen to be helping the law and order situation in Pakistan. The Pakistani Government must start playing by the rules, and this act of unlawful killing must be censured by the international community.”

Wife and children of Shaker Aamer 

Statement from Reprieve (Human Rights Organization) 16th January 2015

The wife of a British resident held in Guantanamo Bay for the last 13 years has made a plea to the Prime Minister to secure his freedom during a meeting at the White House later today.

British resident Shaker Aamer, from South London, has been detained at the US prison camp since 2002, and has never faced a trial or been charged with a crime. He was cleared for release by the Bush administration in 2007, and again by President Obama in 2009. Mr Aamer and his British wife, Zinneera, have four British children.

In a letter sent to David Cameron last week, Zinneera said:

“Thirteen years ago my family was ripped apart when my husband, Shaker Aamer, was sold for a bounty and taken to Guantanamo Bay. He has never been charged with a crime. He has never faced a trial. He was cleared for release – told he could come home, in other words – by President Bush’s administration. He was then cleared for release a second time, by President Obama’s administration. We had such hope, when Mr Obama said he would close the prison – finally, we thought, our family’s ordeal will be over. It is hard to describe the crushing despair of having such hopes dashed.

“I know that you know all of this. But I hope that if I lay out the desperate state of affairs once again – and it would be foolish to suggest we are anything other than desperate – you will be moved to raise Shaker’s case with President Obama when you meet him, and that you will get Shaker home.”

Her intervention came as the Prime Minister told legal charity Reprieve, which represents Mr Aamer, that he would “raise his case” with President Obama during the visit, and “seek further assurances” that Mr Aamer is not being mistreated.

Cori Crider, a lawyer for Mr Aamer and a director at legal charity Reprieve, said: “The last 13 years have been as horrifying an ordeal for Shaker Aamer’s British family as for Shaker himself. Successive UK governments have claimed to have ‘raised Shaker’s case’ with the US over the years – yet he’s still locked up in Guantanamo without charge or trial, suffering terrible mistreatment every day. Enough delays – David Cameron must listen to Shaker’s wife and children, and come back from the White House with a clear timeline for Shaker’s release.”

On 7th January 2015, two brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi attacked the offices of Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine in Paris leaving 12 people dead. Tehreek -Taliban Jamaat-ul-Ahrar Statement

All praises are due to Allah SWT who sent beloved Mohammad SAW as His last messenger and as Prophet of sword (Nabi-ul-Saif)  and Prophet of fierce battles / bloodshed (Nabi-ul-Malahim). Allah SWT mentioned His blessings upon Prophet Mohammad SAW at various  places in Quran and He revealed in Surah Kauthar :

﴿ إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ {1} فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ {2} إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ}

Surely (O Mohammad) We have given you abundance of good (Kauthar). . Therefore to your Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice. . Surely your enemy is the one who will be without offspring.

No person can complete his faith without having love of Prophet Mohammad SAW .

No body among you can become a believer until I become more beloved to him than his parents, offsprings and rest of the people.” (Saheh Bukhari)

The hue and cry of Kuffar after the blessed attacks in France revealed that the disbelieving world has been stabbed in the heart. The most precious treasure for a believer is his Eman (faith) and nobody can complete his Eman without having love of beloved Mohammad SAW. It was due upon the whole Ummah to take the blasphemers of Charlie Hebdo into account and the due was paid by the Mujahideen of Al Qaeda with their warm blood and they freed the earth from the existence of filthy blasphemers (Al Hamdulillah)

The Kuffar have been shaken by this attack and they are blinded by the fire of revenge. The prominent leaders of Kuffar and their allies gathered in the capital of France, Paris and held a rally. The purpose of this rally was to send a message to the Muslim world that they not only hold hatred against Muslims but also support such point of view by others. On the other hand the attitude of so called rulers of Muslim countries is so apologetic that they are perhaps embarrassed of being a Muslim and they are sitting in front of Kuffar with their tails between their legs. Some went a step ahead and started condemning these blessed attacks. The hypocrite media under these slave rulers started propagating secular ideas in the name of peace. According to them, Islam is a religion of peace and we should mind our own business even though somebody insults our beloved Prophet Mohammad SAW. This is what is called taking the Deen out of the hearts of Ummah stealthily. It has become a norm for this media to brand the defenders of the honor of Prophet Mohammad SAW as terrorists which means that whoever fulfils his religious duty of executing a blasphemer will be called a terrorist (Naudhubillah).

Al Hamdulillah all the Muslims who love Shariah and especially the Mujahideen have openly expressed the sentiments of love and affection to martyrdom seekers of Charlie Hebdo attack and these attacks have really comforted the hearts of Mujahideen in east and west. Every Jihadi organization praised these attacks but the hired mules of Kuffar either kept on condemning or remained silent. Now when Kuffar have decided to repeat this abhorrent act of blasphemy and they have openly made announcements about it as well so Ummah of Mohammad SAW! Be a witness that who is the one that will surrender in front of Kuffar and who is the one that reaches courtyards of Kuffar to behead the blasphemers of our beloved Prophet Mohammad SAW. O enemies of Islam  beware! Every youth of this Ummah is willing to sacrifice himself on the honor of Prophet SAW.

Nasser bin Ali al-Ansi, Al Qaeda commander

Nasser bin Ali al-Ansi, a top commander with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsular (AQAP) Yemen released a new video today claiming responsibility for organizing the attack on staff at the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo which left 12 people dead see. During his speech he makes reference to the two brothers, Said and Cherif Kouachi, who carried out the assault in Paris allegedly under AQAP guidance.

The 11 minute video produced by Al Malaahim Media warning of more attacks appeared on social media on the day the “Survivors Issue” of the publication depicting the Prophet Muhammad on its cover hit shops in France and elsewhere.

Queues formed to buy up the 3 million copies released. Production was increased from 60,00, (the number usually printed) and an additional 2 million were ordered for production as shops sold out. The magazine even appeared on E-bay with bids allegedly climbing to £760 ($1.150). According to Yahoo, “one vendor listing the new Charlie Hebdo issues at 15,000 euros ($17,680) for immediate purchase, compared to the cover price of just three euros” though it was not known if anyone actually bought this paper.

Yes, they were true, and Allah attested to their truthfulness – we regard them so.

They do not repay good with bad,

Those dissolute kuffar insulted the chosen Prophets of Allah. They persisted in their disbelief until they insulted the Friend of Allah and the peak of His creation, Muhammad bin ‘Abdillah may the Peace and Blessings of my Lord be upon him. Thereupon, the Muslim ummah awoke and roared out of rage because of the honor of the Prophet of Allah. They resorted to supplication and prayers to Allah the Almighty that He take revenge on them. And if Allah wanted, He could have taken vengeance upon them, but that is the Wish and Patience of Allah so that He tests some of you by means of others, and so that He knows who will support Him and His Messengers in the unseen.

When the heroes were assigned, they acceded to; they promised and fulfilled. Through them, Allah healed the chests of the believers, removed the anger from their hearts.

Congratulations to you, o ummah of Islam, for this vengeance that has soothed our chests. Congratulations to you for these brave men who blew off the dust of disgrace and lit the torch of glory in the darkness of defeat and agony.

In spite of multitude zio-crusader attacks on our ummah – all military, economic, cultural, and moral – except that the severest and the most dangerous are their attacks on our Prophet and religion. By Allah, if we lose the two, we will lose the rest. And if we yield, we will yield in the rest too. They are the criterion of glory and disgrace.

The heads of kufr have realized this after they had been shocked by the events. Look at how they gathered, rallied and supported each other; strengthening their weakness and dressing their wounds. Those wounds have not healed and they won’t, be it in Paris, New York or Washington, or in London or Spain, or in Palestine the legend of glory and pride. Look carefully at their gathering. They are the same who fought us in Afghanistan and Caucasus, in Gaza, the Levant, Iraq, Somalia and Yemen.

Look at it. It is France that has shared all of America’s crimes. It is France that has committed crimes in Mali and the Islamic Maghreb. It is France that supports the annihilation of Muslims in Central Africa in the name of race cleansing. They are the party of Satan, the enemies of Allah the Almighty and the enemies of His Prophets – peace be upon them.

O Muslim ummah, this is a new turning point in the history of confrontation. It has its consequences. Let us not let the disbelievers be more united in their disbelief and insulting the prophets than us in supporting our religion and Prophet. Those are our brothers. They were generous with their lives in supporting our Prophet peace be upon him. So what are we going to do, o Muslim ummah?

Let us support our Prophet, religion and ummah. Each one as per his capability and specialty. This is the Sunnah of Allah that does not change; a confrontation between truth and false until the Day of Judgment. Rise up o Muslim youth in support of your prophet. Be generous with your lives like your predecessors did. Take vengeance for the Muslim blood that is spilled, the honors that are defiled, the Quran that is torn.

As for the oppressed among the sons of the ummah, they should head toward Allah and pray. Because victory is brought by the oppressed of our nation as it was narrated from the Prophet peace be upon him in an authentic hadeeth. We also call them to a Jihad that has no thorns or difficulty. We call you, Muslims, to the support of the Religion of Allah and His Prophet peace be upon him by silent killing. And what can make you know what silent
killing is. It is boycotting. Yes, subdue the enemies of Allah with all calmness and kill them without any clamor. Exhaust and tire them by boycotting their products. Regard that support for the Prophet and Religion of Allah. We also call you to aid Muslims dying out of coldness in refugee camps.

As for our message to the Western nation:

We have warned you before about the consequences of these deeds that your governments collude with under the pretext of ‘freedom of press’ or ‘freedom of ideas’. The freedom that is always tamed except when spreading vile and waging war on Allah and His Messengers and defaming the religion. As for those who call on to Tawheed (monotheism) and virtue, and contradicts with their desires, they are labelled ‘callers to terrorism’, ‘anti-Semitic’. There is no stronger evidence than the issue of the Holocaust in which there is no room for freedom of expression or of ideas.

Sheikh Usama bin Laden warned you before: “If there is no check on the freedom of your words, then let your hearts be open to the freedom of our actions. The answer is what you see, not what you hear.” But your governments blocked their ears from this address. They became stubborn and persisted in protecting and supporting the offensive cartoonists, directors and journalists. Today, by the Grace of Allah, the Mujahideen have taken vengeance for their generous Prophet. They send a message through this operation to all who dare on the Muslim sanctities.

We tell you once again: Stop your insults on our Prophet and sanctities. Stop spilling our blood. Leave our lands. Quit plundering our resources. Otherwise, by Allah, do not expect of us except tragedies and terror. You will look for peace and stability but you will not find it – because of the deeds of Inghimaasis and heroes of lone Jihad, by the Grace of Allah.

As for the blessed Battle of Paris: 

We in the Organization of Qa’idatul Jihad in the Arabian Peninsula claim responsibility for this operation as a vengeance for the Messenger of Allah. We clarify to the ummah that the one who chose the target, laid the plan and financed the operation, is the leadership of the organization. We did it in compliance with the Command of Allah and supporting His Messenger – peace be upon him, then the order of our general amir, the generous Sheikh Aiman bin Muhammad Adhawahiri – may Allah preserve him, and following the will of Sheikh Usama bin Laden – may Allah have mercy on him. The arrangement with the amir of the operation were made by Sheikh Anwar Al- ‘Awlaki – may Allah have mercy on him, who threatens the West both in his life and after his martyrdom.

O Allah do not bar us from following his Sunnah and supporting his call in this world. And do not bar us from his company in the Hereafter.

O Allah quench our thirst with water from his noble hands. Do not part between us until we enter Jannah with him.

O Allah support Your Religion, Book, Prophet and the monotheistic Believers.

O Allah whoever attacks our Prophet, mute his tongue, paralyze his limbs and make him a warning for others.

And the last of our call will be “praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

Taliban magazine Ihyae Khilafat delayed due to bombardment of media office

The words “Je Suis Charlie Hebdo” has been repeated hundreds of thousands of times, perhaps millions in recent days as France and supporters around the world condemned the attack on the offices of the satirical magazine in Paris, by brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi and their associate Amedy Coulibaly. The public were outraged at the killing of the cartoonists in response to the offensive nature of illustrations mocking the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and what they saw as the stifling of freedom of speech. What you didn’t see anywhere in western media was reporting of a full scale assault on the media offices of the TTP JA Tehreek-e-Taliban with “jets, drones, gunship helicopters as well as the ground troops” on the 2nd December 2014 which killed and injured several people. Why was this not reported… media bias? Fear that knowledge of this assault might spark retaliation attacks?

Tehreek-e-Taliban Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (TTP JA) have just released a statement to media announcing a delay to the publication of its English language publication due to this bombardment on Taliban freedom of speech. However distasteful the contents of the magazine might be to many, it is the words of those living under occupation having had their legitimate government ousted when foreigners invaded. These are the articles of those that have seen their children bombed, droned, their women assaulted, their men tortured, imprisoned and killed.

It is likely that Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsular, AQAP (allegedly linked to the French attacks) knew of this assault on the Taliban media office via jihadist websites due to Al Qaeda alliances with the Taliban over recent years in Afghanistan and Pakistan. There is nothing openly to suggest the French attack is linked to the attack on Taliban media, however France had a  very active role in the War in Afghanistan since late 2001 and trained thousands of ANF, Afghan National Forces.

In a statement released after the Charlie Hebdo attack, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsular  (AQAP) stated,

“Oh people of France, it is better for you that you cease your aggression against the Muslims, perhaps you may then live in safety. But if you refuse except to be at war, then take glad tidings, for By Allah you will never have the pleasure of safety for as long as you wage war against Allah and His Messenger and continue fighting the Believers”

TTP JA released the following statement regarding the delay of their magazine publication stating the reasons for this delay,

“TTP is going to present the second edition of English magazine Ihyae Khilafat. After the success of previous English magazine. We tried very hard to present the second edition of English magazine Ihyae Khilafat on the demand and wishes of readers. But because of jihadi situation and difficulties and the martyrdom of relevant companions. The presentation of second edition of English magazine was delayed. The office really apologize the readers and want the readers to remind us in their prayers”

“There is something special about issue 2, Ihyae Khilafat English magazine that some of its contributors are not in this world anymore. While this issue was having its final revisions before release, our media centre was attacked by Americans and their apostate Pakistani and Afghani servants on 2/12/2014. The attack involved jets, drones, gunship helicopters as well as the ground troops. We had to then place our pens and keyboards to one side and picked up our guns to repel enemies attack.

Ahamdullilah Mujahideen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Jamaat -ul-Ahrar fought with great courage and the evil alliance of Kuffar and Murtadeen left the battlefield after only 6 hours of fight. We observed great evidences of Allah’s help in this battle like rockets and bullets being fired on enemy helicopters and personnel from the place where no mujahideen were deployed. Enemies sustained heavy losses and some of our Mujahideen were also selected by Allah SWT as martyrs. Following members of our Ihyae Khilafat media team were included among the Shuhada.

In addition two other members Bilal and Ibrahim Khorasani sustained serious injuries but Alhamdulillah, their condition is now out of danger. We pray to Allah (SWT) to accept the Shahadah of our beloved brothers and compensate our losses. All the Kuffar and their helper Murtadeen should know that we Mujahideen only bow our heads to our creator Allah SWT and we shall remain defiant in front of false Gods and deities. This fight will continue until Allah’s Deen is established over the whole world or our souls are separated from our bodies InshaAllah”

In contrast to those who supported the Charlie Hebdo rally in Paris, the story in Afghanistan was very different. Hundreds of people that had suffered for years under US, British, French and other NATO forces gathered to praise those that carried out the killings and celebrate men they saw as defending Islam. France should take time perhaps to reflect on the often violent actions of the French Resistance when under occupation from the Nazis something which many citizens applauded at the time and to this day!

Former TTP commanders giving bayah to IS (still from video)

A former Tehreek-e-Taliban TTP spokesperson, previously known as “Shahidullah Shahid” appeared in a new 16 minute video from Khorasan Media released January 2015 which shows a group of fighters pledging bayah (spiritual allegiance) to Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Qureshi al Hussaini, Islamic State (IS). This tradition, also known as taking bayah or bayt, goes back to the times of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when the Noble Companions pledged oath to him under a tree. Companions placed their hand in the hand of the Prophet and affirmed their faith in the oneness of Allah (tawheed).

It is not clear when or where the video was filmed (somewhere in the Pakistan, Afghanistan region) and greenery of foliage, light clothing suggests some footage could be 2 to 3 months old.

Shahidullah parted ways with the TTP last year (allegedly sacked) and back in October 2014 TTP released the following statement to clarify the changes,

“Shahidullah Shahid is an “imaginary” name which is used by a person who becomes Spokesman of TTP Central. Shaykh Maqbool has also been spokesman of TTP Central, therefore, he was called Shahidullah Shahid.
