A new English language publication is circulating on social media, posted on jihadi sites. It is called Al Risalah and is promoted as “magazine by the mujahideen of Shaam”.
Articles include an inclusive interview with Amir Muslim Shishani, a Chechen currently fighting in northern Syria against the Bashar al-Assad regime, features on Al Qaeda and Jaish al Fath and an interview with Jabhat al Nusra commander Abu Sultan Jisrawi.
The magazine also has the story of a British woman Um Asiya Muhajirah making hijrah to Shaam with her 3 children. Other features include a post on Ramadan, reviewing the “Khalifa one year on” “Keys of Jannah” and “Halab under fire”. There is a Shahadah series and a eulogy for Sh Abu Baseer Al Wuhayshi.
At the time of posting, links to access the publication were readily accessible on Facebook and Twitter and had not yet been censored.
