Ehsanullah Ehsan (TTP JA spokesperson)
Ehsanullah Ehsan, the spokesperson for Tehreek-e-Taliban Jamaat -ul-Ahrar (TTP JA) which splintered from Tehreek -e-Taliban (TTP) in 2014 released a statement to journalists (Monday 9th February 2015) claiming the following two attacks in Mohmand Agency. He stated,
“Today, in Mohmand Agency’s district Bayezai Amman Committee’s car was attacked by remote control bomb in which 4 members of Amman Committee were severely injured and the second attack took place in Mohmand agency’s district Khwayezai in which Amman Committee’s 4 members have been kidnapped. The decision of their future will be done by TTP Jamat ul Ahrar Sharii court.
We claim the responsibility of both attacks.”
Yesterday news came that key militant Omar Khalid Khorasani had been injured in an attack recently in a joint operation by Afghan and NATO forces in Nangarhar province, Afghanistan but TTP JA informed he was recovering well, for update on this news see following link.
